When choosing a hotel, I was guided by reviews on the Internet, recommendations from travel agencies and friends. Expectations for my wife and I were not deceived. The settlement went pretty quickly. The hotel has two elevators. We were placed in room 510 on the 5th floor. The room is right next to the elevator. Side view from the window - you can see the Mediterranean Sea. A wonderful hotel on Ha-Yarkon street, 156. A few minutes from the waterfront. The only difficulty is to cross the highway. Drivers in Tel Aviv always let pedestrians through. The highway is busy. Floor L is the lobby. The restaurant is located on the floor (-1). Excellent cuisine. Magnificent chef - cook Semyon Vitnyansky. We ordered breakfast and dinner. Buffet. But. Arranged at the hotel for lunch. The cost of lunch for two is 164 shekels. Friendly staff. Some employees speak Russian. There is an outdoor swimming pool next to the lobby bar. Numbers for Israel are normal. There is a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a tea set replenished every day, a wardrobe, a safe. Room service is good. Liked everything.

Rested with family in Leonardo Beach Tel Aviv. The hotel has an excellent location. Delicious hearty breakfasts (we took BB- breakfasts). Normal spacious rooms (the three of us lived), there is a free wifi. Tel Aviv was very nice. We went to Jerusalem and the Metve Sea. The hotel is convenient for excursions.

Hotel in the city center and 100 m to the public beach. Towels on the beach the hotel provides free of charge, to the beach to go across the road, but not for long. The rooms are renovated - beautiful, stylish (in red), but without balconies. The rooms have a tea corner, a safe - free of charge, Wi-Fi - free of charge!!! Wi-Fi is also free in the lobby! The hotel has a non-painful outdoor swimming pool.

She flew to Tel Aviv to meet her friends, stayed at the Leonardo Bazel Hotel, on her friend's advice. Israelis themselves are big fans of hotels in their own country, so I relied on her opinion. for the level of 4 stars - the hotel is ideal in terms of price-quality ratio. All service is in full order, Russian-speaking staff is generally a separate issue; the food is decent, tasting Israeli food, meat or dairy cuisine.

I had to be in touch with my homeland all the time at work, and cheers - there are no problems with the Internet at all in the hotel.
5 minutes to the sea, 10 minutes to the center, buying souvenirs is generally at hand. Once I even went to do a spa at the hotel across the road - they provide a discount there for the residents of the Leonardo Bazel hotel.
In short, I highly recommend. quality service, comfortable, although not cramped rooms, close to the sea. and all this at a reasonable price, and for such quality - even cheap.

Recently (31.08. 08) I returned from Tel Aviv, stayed at the Basel Hotel. I usually stay in hotels of a different level, at least 5 *, but since I went to Israel on business, for a whole month, I chose this hotel. At first, I was unpleasantly struck by the size of the room and the bathroom, the lack of a balcony also made itself felt, in a tiny room with wallpaper "for painting" (namely, for painting in yellow: ) the walls "crushed", I wanted to escape somewhere.

Then I got used to it, the room began to seem simple, small, but even cozy in its own way : ) They cleaned the room every day, also changed towels daily (sometimes they smelled strongly of bleach, but, as they say, "and thanks for that"), I was pleasantly surprised the fact that the bed was changed every three days, and sometimes more often, in general the staff was very pleasant, I think it's not about tips, just such people crept up (which cannot be said about the staff serving the restaurant, but more on that later) Under the "corner for making tea / coffee" meant a kettle and a set of tea, coffee, sugar, which the staff often did not forget to renew. In the bathroom, there are no sets of shower gel, "body lotion", caps, nail files, etc. , only liquid hand soap in a stationary dispenser and the same device with shower gel. The room has a safe (on some sites in the description of this hotel it says "safe at the reception") and a mini-fridge.
Now about the restaurant - I took "breakfast only" meals, so I can't say anything about dinners, breakfast was very monotonous. The fact that in Israel they would not serve scrambled eggs with bacon, sausages, sausages and other meat products for breakfast was clear : ), but it was possible to somehow diversify the range of dishes on offer and while observing Kashrut. Breakfast offered - scrambled eggs, casserole, fish (salted), vegetables and fruits, pastries. The staff was not very friendly, young girls and guys walked between the tables, reluctantly collecting dishes, however, maybe I got on the same waiters, maybe there were other shifts - I don’t know, because during the month of staying at the hotel, I didn’t visit the restaurant more than 10 times (for such a breakfast it was simply too lazy to get up in the morning : )
Since the hotel is small and modest - there is no currency exchange office, no shop, there is a lobby bar, the so-called. Internet corner, swimming pool (though small and with cold water). I had a view from the window of the sea, the yacht club and the Sheraton hotel (opposite), quite nice. The beach is close by Tel Aviv standards, just across the road. The hotel is always on duty waiting for passengers, taxis, which is very convenient. If I went to Tel Aviv "purely on vacation", I would stay in one of the "five", but in general the hotel is not bad, depending on what goals and objectives you have when visiting Tel Aviv
