The room has: safe, TV, mini-fridge, hair dryer. Everything works.
Hotel pros:
1. One pool with water slides is warmed up, there is a "paddling pool" area for the very young.
2. Large green area, convenient sand and coral entry into the sea. There is an area with cages for parrots.
3. At the time of covid, the occupancy of the hotel is 10-15%, free. It's very nice, quiet and lots of space. Lots of free sunbeds.
4. Tasty meat is cooked, grilled in the evenings, a pleasant smell of a fire from it.
5. Well cleaned and no tips.
6. Spacious rooms, we had on the first floor, 2 exits - to the corridor and to the sea from the balcony.
7. Location of the hotel - 15 minutes from the airport. There is something to see outside the hotel and where to walk.
8. I liked that they use wooden stirrers for drinks, it still remains at the beach bar to change them to the same ones, not plastic ones.
9. Cutlery is sorted into disposable packages (knife, fork, knife, salt, pepper), but there are no toothpicks (! ), and not always clean (badly washed between the tines of the fork, someone's sticky rice remains).
Minuses:
The very first and fat minus is a weak wi-fi. From time to time it loads tabs, and on another day it won't even load one.
There is no pier (neighboring pier from another hotel, you can’t go there).
Very clingy massage consultants.
You can wait a long time for your room to be cleaned.
For some reason, they do not give out water during cleaning and settling.
There is no kettle and coffee/tea sticks in the room.
The curtains in the bathroom need to be changed - dead.
There is rubbish in the flowerbeds by the beach.
Not tasty coffee (in cafes/restaurants outside the hotel, coffee is good, human).
There is almost no animation (in the morning they sometimes call for exercises and sometimes dances).
The coral at the hotel, alas, is dead, there are at least a few fish and a lot of hedgehogs to sail away (m 10). Many times I saw a stingray and even caught a small octopus. To the left of the pier there is a cobblestone with corals, where you can see fish with a mask.
There are only drinks at the bar (there are no snacks), alcoholic drinks are also nothing, there are three drops of alcohol, I, as a non-drinker, drank one cocktail, didn’t insert at all.
Notes:
Diving at the hotel is not recommended. It costs 50 euros (not even dollars), the real price is not more than $ 10, since you dive right next to the hotel near the boats, again there is nothing to see there - only hedgehogs. As I understand it, now they are saving on everything they can, and they don’t want to drive the boat once again, it is spent on fuel. The best diving is going out to sea on a yacht for the whole day, with a dive at the reef and lunch there.
Normal massage with coconut oil 45 min. - the price is $ 15-25 at a time, different consultants have different prices, the guy is more expensive, they don’t want to drop the price. Once you can go. They don't give change, they offer extra. services, bred for money just like that. Unpleasant. Every day, consultants offer massages, we say - “we don’t need to”, it’s really only possible to hide from them in the sea, they don’t give you a normal rest, they follow everyone from under the bushes who does what, where they go and they don’t miss the opportunity to run across the entire beach just for you catch and offer a massage. Brrr, got to a nervous tick.
Conclusion: in general, the hotel is 4-, pleases with a very large area, which is on the first line, and once the sea came out. A kind of oasis among dirty Egypt where local and annoying sellers live. Tangerines, bananas grow here, birds sing. . . If you didn't bother with a massage, you can relax. Silence, sea, sun, at the market you buy mangoes for a snack on the beach. . . what else do you need?
The beach is cool, quiet, perfect for small children, shallow. But for those who like to see marine life - a bit scary, one might say, there is almost nothing. Spa center - they try, the staff is good, I took a hammam and massages. Jacuzzi in the spa - shamelessly smelled of bleach)) There is almost no animation, but I, as a lover of a quiet holiday, was even glad of this. Helicopters fly quite low a couple of times a day, very loud. It was cold in the evening and there were a lot of mosquitoes, be sure to take a fumigator! The child was "eaten" for the first night.
The hotel is good overall. For this money, I think that we rested quite acceptable.
The arrival was early (at 6 am we were already at the hotel). At the entrance, they always measure the temperature and check what is in the packages. They settled only after 20 bucks, and put on the bracelets at 10.00. We were given a room near the spa.
Number. There were 2 separate beds but we put them together. The bathroom was a bit tatty and the shower barely ran. There were ashtrays in all rooms. Tea, coffee, mini-bar, no kettle in the room, current 2 glasses in the bathroom. There is a safe. Cleaned up every day.
The territory of the hotel. More or less well-groomed. There are cages with parrots. 1 bar near the pool (did not work). The beach bar was open from 10.00 to 17.00 (tea, coffee, alcohol). At 11.00 sweet buns were brought to the beach. It is forbidden to swim in the pool after 17.00. In the main restaurant, the temperature is constantly measured and the room number is recorded. The choice of food in the morning is the same, at lunch and dinner more varied. The choice is small, you will not stay hungry (rice, pasta, soups, chicken, fish, beef). Salads sometimes were, and sometimes collect yourself. All chefs serve, not himself. The waiters wear masks, everyone else without them. There is no animation at all, only the music was included.
Beach. Entrance only with corals, you will cut your legs. There are fish near the pier. Moray eels and cuttlefish sailed.
Departure from Hurghada. At the check-in counter, you again need to fill out a migration card (give it at passport control) and a declaration (it will be picked up when boarding the plane). Mango can be carried in a box as hand luggage, it can be in luggage. Self-declarations will again be handed out on board, but again they do not require it. There are dutiks, but at 3-5 USD. more expensive than in Minsk. Upon arrival in Minsk there are 2 dutik. Buy there, cheaper (immediately after passport control and before baggage claim).
The only thing that made me happy was the sea. Here it is the most luxurious in Hurghada. We were in 6 more hotels in Hurghada, but it's not that.
Either too shallow (Long beach, Mercury), or muddy (Amc royal, festival riviera). Drinking, as in all of Egypt - no. Sometimes they took rum, but otherwise they were content with local beer and what they bought in the dutik. There is no animation. There is no children's disco. The pool with slides is filled with Arabs, and there is nowhere to swim. They were always by the sea. The front desk staff is unfriendly. It turned out that upon arrival we were given a broken keychain with a key. We did not pay attention to this - the light worked and the TV from the key fob. So that's how it should be. But on the way out, they extorted money from us. Since, supposedly, we broke it. I had to pay. And that was the last straw not to recommend this hotel at all.
Huge plus in private sandy beach. Nice small beach. You can walk without corals. Pier nearby. Under the pier there are many fish that you can feed directly from your hands. A large beautiful bird flew to the beach every morning. Very nice sunrise view from the beach. I was not too lazy and filmed. Who loves beauty and who is interested, then look - https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=M9Js-60FYLo
Room on the 2nd floor, small, not a new renovation, but everything is neat and without breakdowns. Quarantine made it possible to finally conduct a gene. cleaning in hotels, and wash curtains including)). Once we fly for the sake of the sun and the sea in this regard, everything was in abundance. The beach is normal, there are few fish, the entry into the water is not great, we were without corals, there are stones, on the second day we bought shoes at the Sheraton for $ 3 - this is at a discount (there were $ 4). The hotel is at the Sheraton, there are many different shops, they are traded. Exchangers, pharmacies, cafes, fruit shops (chic cheap mangoes), the embankment to the right of the hotel, a little more than 10 minutes to go. The location of the hotel is excellent.
Of the excursions, they took only the orange island, it was too much like to walk on a yacht). We enjoyed the trip to the fullest, we liked it very much, for almost nothing for the money. Yes, the pools at the hotel work, water slides too (relevant for families with children). Great stay, didn't want to leave. They didn't regret it. Thanks to all the staff, good luck!
The staff tries to be in masks, you need to ask for clean appliances, if you don’t ask, they give you simple bulk. There is a barbecue area: there were meat pies, pizza, kebab, grilled vegetables. Coffee machines and vending machines with different yuppies and cola 3 pieces, in the lobby around the clock. You need to collect water from the cooler yourself, they do not put it in the room. There is a bar on the beach from 9 to 18. At lunchtime, you can eat there: pasta, liver, salads, etc.
The sea is clean, the beach is sandy, but the entry is only in corrals. There are sand paths between stones in the water, along which you can reach the depths and swim. There is no pier, only at the neighboring hotel. There is no beautiful reef, a couple of fish swim up.
The hotel is on the main street and there is an opportunity to take a little walk, there are many shops / pharmacies and fruits around, there are ATMs and shops with cards. On the boardwalk, you can get fresh mango juice for $1.
The pool worked, the pool bar did not, the slides turned on at the time. There is no animation at all, only music in the bar.
There were a lot of Egyptian families - noisy and shameless, constantly trying to get through without a queue, they are served first of all everywhere, if you do not shout and do not attract attention, you can wait a very long time for the reaction of the staff. But if you do not pay attention to the locals, then the hotel is good for a relaxing holiday.
Divers have nothing to do there, but lie down on the beach and swim - yes.
