1. There is no soundproofing as such, you can hear the neighbors snoring from above, whispering to the left, going to the shower from below.
2. On the second floor in the rooms there is a terrible smell of sewerage - it just carries shit.
3. In some rooms, it drips from the ceiling, while directly on the outlet. The administration doesn't care. You think it will close - it will.
4. There are no banal things - an electric kettle, a kitchen, a table at which one could gather.
5. Room cleaning is not performed, towels are not changed.
You feel more comfortable in a hostel than in Santara.

We have been resting on Dragobrat for more than a year, a company of 7 people. They placed us all together on the same floor, as we requested. Nice warm hotel, located 100 meters from the chair. Ride on the central slopes. We took the equipment along the way so that it was not far to carry it on ourselves) The food is very tasty and the portions are large, they will give an addition. Many thanks to Anya for personal food for a vegetarian) In terms of plumbing, something needs to be changed and repaired.
We liked everything! Recommended as a mid-range hotel!

We stayed at the Santara Hotel from 07.03. 2009 to 09.03. 2009 in the amount of 4 people. Pluses of the Santara hotel: availability; accommodation is cheaper than in most hotels on Draga (UAH 180 per person); very good food. Cons: terrible aesthetic conditions of the room (so you had to try to do it through your ass, it feels like a converted hostel); even greater price-quality ratio than in general in the Carpathians (albeit cheaper, but I'm sorry, I'd rather pay extra money); minor interruptions in hot water (you wash yourself for 15 seconds warm, then for 5 seconds it changes to cool and so constantly, but in principle it was tolerable since the drop was very smooth, and the cold was not very long); when we arrived in our 4-bed room, the owners lived and we waited for them to clean up and, frankly, they didn’t clean up very well. Neutrality: all 3 days we had warm, even hot; the light went out 5 minutes before we left, so I won’t say if there is enough diesel so that everything works, but it turned on in a minute; the owners are a bit specific people, but there were no conflicts. Conclusion: it’s not advisable to go there if there is another option, but it’s quite possible to live there for a couple of days and have a good rest, you just don’t have to go with the attitude that you are going to Europe))) It’s just going to go for a ride, but of course I don’t advise spending a full vacation there ! ! ! There are many times better places on Draga!

Hospitable young hostess, food-super! The rooms are hot (constantly opened windows), hot water around the clock. The rooms are small but cozy. Every evening we hung out in the restaurant and by the fireplace. Two couples from our company lived in Kremna, but ate with us: ) What kind of people . . write such nonsense?

We rested in this hotel on February 7-8 with a group of 14 people. 200 UAH per person for a double room, 180 for a triple. Given the fact that the bathroom and shower in each room - satisfied with the prices. Most showers have their own boiler of 80-120 liters (I can’t accurately determine by eye). Some seem to have a large common. I am very grateful to the previous negative reviews - otherwise we would not have been able to book and settle in one hotel in two days with most of the company - but we wanted to be together : ) Location, food, rooms, etc. - at the level and in some ways better than the prices. Keep in mind that drag is not beech or Slavsk yet. About the negative reviews on the internet hostess? Service staff know, I was thinking to take advantage of this and lower prices : ) But I regretted it : ) All participants in the trip are satisfied. As usual, who is more who is less : ) Honestly promised to write a review in the internet - honestly and I am writing.

looking for a budget option. found Santara. at that time, there were all a couple of reviews on the Internet - and all negative. because I wanted to relax for 10-11 days, and not far from the ski lifts, and only this hotel allowed the budget - prepared for the worst - we got batteries and a lot of warm clothes. but when we arrived, we were precipitated by surprise - the sweet hostess, who greeted us very cordially, immediately accommodated us (although we had a problem - 8 people were supposed to go, and we ordered 2 three-seater and 1 two-seater, and then broke off - the problem was solved immediately and absolutely calmly - they took one 3-seater and one 4-seater), while we were unpacking things and preparing equipment for skiing - they prepared dinner for us - very tasty!
further, in short - it was hot - the windows were opened, there were no problems with hot water at all - each room had a large boiler - enough for three or four people in a row (of course, they saved a little), food - a separate issue in general - VERY tasty, and fed, as if to slaughter - there was a lot of everything. honestly, almost no attention was paid to the quality of the decoration of the rooms themselves - we came there to ride on the boards, and not to sit in the room.
hostesses - generally super - all problems were solved quickly and without noise, they always went to meet us. as for the generator - yes, it works. once they turned off the light, after 10 minutes the diesel started working. True, I had to turn off the boilers.
in general - Santara is a decent hotel option. my whole company was happy. what I wish you!

In the car, the stove has not been working for many years, the windows are covered with a layer of ice, almost nothing is visible through the windshield, I drove at a speed of 50-60 km / h. Wildly freezing in the car, entering the hotel and putting the bags, the hostess immediately demanded payment. There was no hot water in the room, we had to wait for the boiler to heat up. The water only warmed up the next morning. It was the only morning, and indeed the only time, when we washed our hands and washed ourselves. The room is constantly cold, because the battery was turned on only for 2 hours in the evening, there is no hot water... the light went out in the evening. They connected a gasoline generator, which was only enough to pump cold water. For 5 days we lived in the cold, without hot water, without light (we went to the toilet with a candle). The hostess answered the complaints - if you don't like it, look for another hotel. The hostess is really very stingy, you can't ask for toilet paper!! ! On the 6th night, the heating was completely turned off, the window sill and windows were covered with a crust of ice, steam was coming from the mouth... There was no water in the toilet drain tank !! ! And the reason for this was simple, the hostess, during the day she did not buy gasoline for the generator, hoping that the transformer would be repaired. There was a short answer to all claims - sue! Then we were asked to leave the hotel. All other hotels were busy. We have a train in 2 days. When asked where we should go. . . the hostess had nothing to answer!!!
Another very important point! Hotels pump water for cooking and drinking from a stream, a little higher up the river relative to all hotels. There is no sewerage in Dragobrat, and therefore all waste products flow into the same river, but downstream. I asked to pour boiling water into a thermos, so when I poured this water out the next day. . . THE WATER WAS DARK YELLOW WITH 3-4 cm SEDIMENT OF MUD, CLAY, SAND. To be honest, you can’t even make out what kind of muck it was. Other hotels have wells. The Santara Hotel also has it, only there is no water there, so the food for us was cooked from water from the river, although without knowing such details, the food seems generally edible. Now you have to donate blood for Hepatitis, after such a write, so you rested is called....
The only plus was that the owners of the hotel arranged a good New Year's program with live music and competitions, which were so lacking in some (I can’t say for all hotels, because I didn’t recognize them in all) Dragobrat hotels.

Don't hesitate to go to this hotel! This can't even be called a hotel. It sucks! The owners of this "hut" are stingy grandmothers from Odessa who save on absolutely everything! Locals do not like them very much for their redneck. There is very little space in the room, and in the so-called bathroom you can’t squeeze through at all. You can forget about hot water, and often you can forget about water in general, the batteries are ice cold, the heaters do not work, because there is no electricity and light. And so 4 days out of 5 lived in this house. These are such Spartan living conditions! To all our questions why there is no water, heat and light, they came up with fairy tales, first about a broken transformer, then about a tree that fell on the wires, etc. And they have one barely alive generator, which they most often did not turn on, because they were stingy to buy gasoline. Last night the temperature in the rooms was +10 - +12. Guests, the desire to strangle such hosts, was probably only restrained by the return of these hostesses. After lengthy proceedings, part of the money paid for accommodation was returned and we wished them "GOOD PROSPERITY OF THEIR BUSINESS", slamming the door goodbye, moved to the neighboring beautiful hotel "Flint", where we were gladly sheltered for one night, which remained with us on vacation! But despite the frustration from living in "Santara", the rest turned out to be super, we skied in full and in general Dragobrat is a beautiful place !!!
P. S. By the way, after we checked out from this "Santara", the hostesses were forced to close their slop hotel, due to impossible living conditions. It is interesting, but what about living for those people who were supposed to call in on 01/06/2009 and have already made an advance payment for accommodation?...
