A new diving center with an experienced instructor Halit - all this allowed me not only to enjoy scuba diving, but also to receive an international diving certificate. The underwater world is fabulous: turtles and moray eels, stingrays, various fish. Once I even saw a sea cow. And the hotel itself has large rooms, plenty of food. And if you take care of your figure, then you can get by with a smaller assortment. I do not think that at home for the same money they feed more varied. The bar in March was already working in the evenings in the restaurant itself, the waiters served very well. You just need to smile and say a simple Russian THANK YOU without twisting your face. And then on some ladies, so to speak, to look at, and we were sick of it. The rooms were cleaned every day, the figures from the towels were twisted with all their hearts. As a token of gratitude, they left a dollar each and did not regret it at all. The only negative - after all, there was practically no evening animation, and there was nowhere to go outside the territory. Around the desert. There are several shops on the territory where you can go in the evening and just talk heartily with the sellers. All of them know Russian and are happy to spend the evening talking.

Good day to all who seek the truth. I would like to share my impressions about this hotel. I'll start from the beginning. When booking the hotel, there was no information about the SOLYMAR DOLPHIN HOUSE hotel. Since we were leaving on November 1, there was not much choice due to the holidays. The travel agency told me that in Pegasus and Mostrevel only positive reviews about this hotel. Newly built hotel. New 5*. Chain of hotels SOLYMAR. Etc. etc. After I looked on the Internet, it turned out that this hotel used to have a different name, or rather PARADISE RESORT MARSA ALAM 4 *. And the reviews about him are not the most encouraging. Change this hotel to another here in Russia, no one gave me. The most interesting thing in Pegasus was stubbornly saying that this was a new hotel, and they didn’t want to hear about the fact that the hotel had changed its name. And I hoped for the best went to rest.
We flew to the airport in Marsa Alam. The road from the airport to the hotel took 1.5 hours. On the way we stopped at FANTASIA SHORES. By the way, when choosing a hotel while still at home, they asked for it in "Fantasy", but the hotel was in the foot. When I finally reached my hotel, I was immediately disappointed with the appearance of the hotel. Going to the reception, I saw that the appearance of the hotel is fully consistent with the interior. Dirty floor and a welcome cocktail in the form of diluted powdered juice did not please, and did not inspire hope for the best.
We received the keys and were taken to our room. The room is quite spacious. Large bed, sofa and TV with the wordy name SANSUI. Everything was quite normal. Except for the fact that the furniture is quite old, and there are stickers from the PARADISE RESORT MARSA ALAM 4 * hotel in the toilet. And as I was told, the hotel had just been built. Hello Pegasus : ). I doubt they didn't know. Upon arrival at the hotel from the road, they naturally wanted to wash themselves. But nothing came out of the hot faucet. And the yellow water that poured from the cold tap, for some reason, did not want to go down the drain. My wife and I were in shock. All fears began to come true with rapid speed.
In the morning we went for breakfast. Again shock. Dirt is not only in the dining room (it cannot be called a restaurant), but the cooks are standing in dirty jackets, in dirty JEANS, at half-empty counters, and are waiting for something. After I chose a more or less clean one from stacks of plates, and taking a traditional omelet, I realized that there was nothing more to eat. The wife took tea and two rolls. Some lettuce leaves, cucumbers and tomatoes did not dare to take. I think cooks wash their hands no more often than the vegetables themselves. To tell the truth, lunch and dinner turned out to be a little better, the choice is not big, but you can choose something.
After breakfast we went to explore the territory and of course the beach with the sea. Further, only the facts. The palm trees are dried up. The pool water is dirty. Everywhere there are traces of destruction and desolation. The beach is garbage. Nobody cleans it up. And it feels like there are 40-50 people in the hotel. There are no foreigners. Some Russians. And that says something. And finally, the sea. That's what we came here for. It was then that I realized that they were all flowers. There is no pontoon. It is being "built". At this pace of construction, it will never happen. There is no other entry into the sea. Sharp corals, hedgehogs and constant wind. Having bought for $ 10 a special vehicle for moving around the corals (slippers), I plunged hoping to see at least what I saw in Sharm el-Sheikh. Bummer. Pretty scarce. I think for those who used to rest on the Black Sea it will be interesting. Well, who is not the first time on the Red Sea...
Then put up with the fact that we are being sold full d for my money....I did not put up, I found a guide Karen, who by the way was always there, and talked to him about changing the hotel. I asked to change for all the same Fantasia shores. He called somewhere and said that for $75 for a double room and $50 for a single room (there were three of us), they would move us, but only on 4.11. So I had two more days to enjoy the rest in this "wonderful" hotel. Well, having moved to FANTASIA SHORES MARSA ALAM, we began a real vacation. Rest with good cuisine, a wonderful sea, the best sea I have ever seen in Egypt. But that is another story.

Employees of the company Pegas Tourist could not immediately figure out which bus to which hotel to give. and since we arrived at 2340, then everyone's nerves were already on edge. well, we sorted out the buses, arrived at the hotel, and settled. everything seems to be fine. . .
we wake up in the morning, come for breakfast and understand that the hotel has a maximum of 80 people. but it is designed for 200 people (approximately). It's even better that there are no people. )
as for food: for alcohol you need to go to the bar, which is located at the reception (that is, you had to leave the restaurant, go around, and go to the reception, only there, standing in line, take alcohol). food: I will not hide. . . there is nothing to eat! every day is the same! Oh! No! on Friday they have a grill and kebabs outside.
sea: the sea is good. but there are also disadvantages. if you are going in the near future, then know that the entrance to the sea is about 50 meters in shallow water. BUT! on these 50 meters corals are hedgehogs and other prickly shit. but there they are building a pantone, along which it will soon be possible to safely enter the water!
people: if you are traveling together, then you will be sooo bored there! for children of 5-9 years old, if there are their peers, it may be good, but 13-18 are boring mortals!
if you want to RELAX like that, then please, but I would not advise you ! !

The hotel is not prepared for the arrival of tourists! The pontoon bridge is still under construction. Sunset in the sea on corals and nothing more. They didn’t even bother to clean the sea, so rebar is lying around in the corals! Palm trees on the beach died a long time ago, apparently they were planted dead. Food... you won’t run away... well, let’s forgive the meager choice of food. The rooms are normal. Disinfection takes place in the evenings, the whole hotel is immersed in an incomprehensible smoke! I do not know how it will affect health! Guide Karen is so exhausted by the claims of tourists that he is annoyed at everyone in advance! ; ) Animation at the end of my holiday still appeared (a girl who speaks exclusively in English). Which apparently is just starting her career as an animator and therefore there is nothing to take from her! In general, let's write it down, the animation is a complete zero! Outside the hotel, desert, desert and more desert. But the most important thing is the staff! At the reception, an Arab, does not speak Russian, treats tourists terribly (we were convinced of this when we left the hotel). In general, there is definitely nothing for young people to do there! Boring hotel!

Stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend. Vouchers were bought in the tour agency KoralOtdykh on Lublinskaya. Having a certain budget, we asked the manager Volnushkina Svetlana to find us a tour for the next few days. It turned out that there were no plane tickets for last-minute and special offers in the coming days, so there was no point in having them, we were offered the Dolphin House 5 * hotel, while indicating that it was new built this year in June, what office staff went on vacation and they really liked it.

Well, we thought that if the employees went there, it means that the hotel is probably safe, but as it turned out, this is not so. Let's start with the fact that later it turns out that the hotel is not new, but renamed from Paradase Marsa Alam, in addition to everything 4 *, contrary to the declared 5 * tour operator. the hotel is in the middle of the desert, there is nowhere to go, a taxi to the city costs $ 30, and in general there is nothing to see in this city.
for the entire time of our stay, a guide from MOSTREVAL never came, there was not even an information stand where you could find out who our guide is, his coordinates and phone number, his schedule of stay at our hotel, what excursions the tour operator offers, and so on. . . we didn’t even know where to find out about the departure time later, since there is no stand ....
In general, we saw the guide only 3 times: during transfers from the airport to the hotel and back, and during the transfer to Luxor during the tour. We didn't see him again. Upon arrival at the hotel, the guide immediately informed us about 2 possible excursions - Luxor and a boat trip, put before the fact that the money needs to be returned now, if anyone wants to go, he also said that all issues could be resolved with him by phone until the replacement rooms, but when we asked him for a phone number, he politely answered - there is one at the reception, ask and they will connect you. As it turned out, his phone was not there.
It was not clear what to do, whom to look for and who to contact in case of problems or extreme situations. There was no Russian-speaking person at the reception, so we could not even express our displeasure to anyone and solve the elementary problems of the lack of towels in the room, a blocked safe and a non-working TV. It’s good that they knew English at least somehow and were able to communicate in it with the staff at the reception, and everything was fixed for us from 2 times with the arrival of the general manager.
Speaking about the hotel - firstly, it’s not 5 * even on paper, on what basis the tour operator declares them - I don’t know, secondly, there is neither a sandy entry nor a pantone on the beach, you have to walk along dead corals, fall into crevices, it is full of big hedgehogs and we even saw a sea snake.
Why there is no pantone in the hotel - for us this is generally nonsense, it is contrary to elementary safety rules, besides, there were children in the hotel, as I understand it, no one thought about them. Moreover, there was no tower on the beach to watch the beach, where a lifeguard should sit, which we also did not find - who will be responsible in case of something and who will provide assistance - probably few people were interested. panton has been built there for 2 years already, 1 pile per week : ))))
As for the territory of the hotel - the territory is rather poor, there is very little greenery, the palm trees are all dried up - they stick out like sticks from the sand, mostly everything is in paving stones and slabs. There was a tennis court on the beach, when we saw it it became funny : ) - it's a outlined rectangle right on the sand with a sagging net : ) how can you play tennis on such a "field" - it's not clear.
Table tennis tables - there were 2 of them, one was skewed and crooked with shabby rackets stood day and night, but no one played it - because it is impossible to play such junk : ) as soon as a group of Italians arrived, they immediately laid out a good table and took it out more or less normal rackets : )
There was no animation at all, as it turned out later, she was fired a few days before our arrival. the only entertainment during the day was water polo with collapsing gates, which the tourists themselves entertained themselves with, and in the evening there was a disco where they played the same mixed disc every day.
The dining room was small and the menu was rather poor - from drinks they offered powdered juices, 7up, Mirinda, Cola, freshly squeezed orange juice costs 1 euro, and the oranges seemed to be selected as the worst - all green and battered)). From alcohol, it’s not at all possible to drink anything personally for me, they say beer can still be tolerated and rum.
And so everything is of local origin, the wine is sour and gives off alcohol, rum, whiskey tequila - I don’t even know, we didn’t drink.
food was always the same salads, cabbage leaves, cucumbers, tomatoes. From hot 1 fish dish, 1 meat dish, garnish with rice, pasta, potatoes, boiled or stewed vegetables. For breakfast, dry balls with pavidl or milk, (there were no milk porridges and soups at all) local tea bags, instant Nescafe coffee, cocoa that no one could drink, a couple of buns, pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausages with pepper - there was always one for breakfast and also. of the soups there was only one kind - some kind of broth with a mashed soup for soup : ))) From the fruit, we saw only green melon (goava, according to the local it seems, only it could be eaten), red dates that knitted the mouth and only 1 time caught apples.
In general, the only thing that saved us there was communication with people, which began with complaints about this hotel, and then continued with attempts to entertain ourselves : )
there were shop tents nearby - and young guys speaking Russian - so we went to talk to them, smoke a hookah, drink tea and dance Arabic dances - they were for us instead of animation)))
In general, summing up our trip, I can say one thing: this hotel is not worth the money that we paid for it, yes, it has both pluses (spacious rooms and communication with people) and minuses (which I have already talked about. ) could be tolerated, but not such a level for the money.

There was no entry into the sea, they swam only in the pool (moreover, in the cold in winter, it turns out that they did not have heating). We were fed without much choice, only black tea, there were almost no fruits, I won’t talk about alcohol at all and about the lack of snacks between meals. There was even nowhere to change money in hotels, and in principle there were no shops. There is nowhere to go out, around the desert, there is little entertainment program. Gym with three simulators and then worked when he wanted. There are a lot of shortcomings. The only thing that consoled us was that we were not the only ones who got into this situation and saved ourselves, had fun as we could, made many friends, talked well, and the rest is terrible.

We got to the hotel by Tez-express. We rested together with my boyfriend. In general, the rest was pleasant, but there were also disadvantages. There is no special entrance to the sea, only bags - but since the hotel is new, I think they should build a pontoon. But the fish in the sea, even at a depth of knee-deep, are just a fairy tale, not to mention what they are if you swim away.

True strong winds, especially in recent days!
By the way, the water in the pools is not cold, everyone swam, despite the fact that they are not heated!
The food is varied and good, drinks are also okay, only juices diluted from powder, but I think this is a problem for many hotels.
Friendly staff, attentive waiters.
Rooms are good, beds changed every other day, towels every day.
During our vacation, there were about 25 people in the hotel, it was boring, the animation is not too active, but good guys)) There is no entertainment other than evening discos, so young people need to go with a group.
From excursions, we took a motorcycle safari at the hotel, it's just super ! ! and a trip to the island of Hamata (the tour is called so, although Hamata is a port, not an island) is a bomb !!
Hotel guide - Mussad - very friendly and helpful. Responds quickly to all requests! Once, at 11 o'clock in the evening, the TV stopped working for us, they called Mussad, after 10 minutes everything was fixed !!
In general, we were satisfied with the rest - from winter to summer, it's super! !
