Rested with a friend in October 2019. We will not go there again and we will not advise, in particular in Marsa Alam.

The big downside of the hotel - the animation, it pulls to the bottom of the hotel ...moved away from the little ones.
Perhaps I am more of a gastrotourist, but the food seemed ordinary and very spicy to me. If you like it spicier and with the addition of pepper, you are here. Arabic cuisine is a priority . . vegetables, meat, potatoes, chili peppers are added to many dishes, if your liver hurts, think about what you eat. A couple of desserts were pleasantly surprised, delicious. Special thanks for shakshuka (scrambled eggs with tomatoes) it looks like in Israel. In general, you can live, but every day is almost the same. Drinks at the bar are diluted, if you want to feel the fortress, drink "Uzu" (the rest doesn't work : )) and has little to do with alcohol, rather coloring cola)
2. Discos and animation
Young people in the hotel have nothing to do, if you came here as a married couple and want silence, then yes - for you, the sea and swimming can be active here, otherwise the wilderness, lack of entertainment. Arab children up to 10 in the evening have a mini entertainment of dancing with the same music every evening, a dubious pleasure. By the way, the music at the pool and around the hotel is the same, there is little variety. But study the entire repertoire of Celine Dion on repeat every day. =)
3. Buying slippers at the hotel and souvenirs
There is a shop in the hotel where you can buy souvenirs and swimming slippers, the price can be brought down but it is difficult, since this is the only store where you can basically buy something, there is nothing like shops in the area of the hotel
4. Hotel security, beach and wifi
The first time I meet a hotel where wifi is paid, and only at the reception is free. The option to lie down on the beach with a phone will be available to you only for $ 15, while free Wi-Fi is only at the reception . . which you still need to get to, works intermittently.
The hotel is poorly guarded or not guarded at all, it seems to me that anyone can enter the territory of the beach, especially the flocks of dogs running around the hotel are frightening, of course the hotel staff cutely threw stones at them, but as a person who is afraid of dogs, they can run to the beach at any time , so that's important to me.
In the same way, regarding things - they can steal, on the beach there is an announcement that no one is responsible for things.
Beach - if you can call it that, it looks like the most ordinary rocky shore sprinkled with sand with umbrellas, there is garbage, old sunbeds, shallow entry into the sea, go to a depth of 200 meters with pits and other living creatures, in order to plunge completely you need to take many, many steps in sea . The bottom is sharp with pits, little animals... corals. Of course, it’s interesting with a mask, but it’s worth coming here just for the sake of swimming with fish. I will not say that it is bad, no, it is normal cognitive. For me, such a vacation for once.
5. Hotel staff
The staff at the hotel is responsive, relatively English-speaking, very clingy on any issue, if you are traveling alone, they will not leave you without attention, I’ll say more to a girl alone, it’s generally very difficult, they will pull for any reason... Sometimes I just missed the silence . . Some directly I had to say so as not to cling, the manager from the reception was especially annoying.
6. The public in the hotel
It’s difficult to meet our Russian-speaking people at the hotel... most Arabs... swim in the pool in a hijab or even in a burqa, an unusual phenomenon... after a couple of days you get used to it, you get the feeling that you are already not dressed enough, people are friendly, they won’t go into conflict, but condemnation you can still read that you are in an open swimsuit on your faces... not the most pleasant feeling =)
7. Living creatures in the sea - it’s easy to see fish, hedgehogs and stars, this is in abundance . . this is a plus that I would like to highlight nature and terrain . . you will think about every step in the sea so as not to get hurt and not to stand on something living , for an amateur
8. City - there is nowhere to go outside the hotel, on the one hand the desert, on the other, unfinished hotels... it's difficult to find a company... not really enthusiastic : ) met some people from Cairo, then still adequate.
9. Room cleaning and towels
Towels in my room were not changed from check-in, beach towels could be changed with a card. There is a lot of dust on the sofas in the hotel in the hall, garbage is lying around in the evening, cups. Not so much with cleaning. There are a lot of flies in the hall, they are very angry. there was a non-working safe in the room, the closet door was broken, everything was fixed on demand.
10. The management of the hotel wants improvements, they are obviously interested, they ask this commendably, but there is still a lot to be done to turn this resort into a European one.
11. Transfer
It’s a very long drive about 4 hours from Hurghada, along an empty highway at a speed of 120, it’s interesting and dangerous at the same time, it will be difficult to find help around the desert.
In general, my assessment is good, a tolerable vacation for reasonable money and certainly the feeling that you will visit another world. You will have the opportunity to see Egypt from the inside, to be on vacation with the locals, to plunge into the traditions and the sea full of living creatures. And then think for yourself.
2 We arrived at the hotel at 9.00, settled at 10.00. At the reception they gave 5 dollars and a chocolate bar "Alenka". For this, on the second day we were given a room on the 3rd floor with a gorgeous view of the sea and the hotel grounds. However, not without nuances. Since we arrived at 9.00, they demanded an additional 15 USD from us, because the check-in was from 12.00. I refused, saying that we would wait and we were settled in an hour without any additional payment)))
3. Numbers. The rooms correspond to 4 stars. The room has a hair dryer, safe, TV (by the way, they also show TNT). We had a great view from the balcony. The room was not cleaned every day, water was not always brought either (I had to remind at the reception). The suitcase clerk is rude. A couple of times he gave him a dollar each, he hinted to me that it was not enough, asked me to change the safe, so he carried it for half a day.
4. Territory. Small but cozy, everything is in full view: restaurant, bar, swimming pool, beach.
There is a cool water bar in the pool, where alcohol is poured and a snack is given. My girlfriend and friends from Ukraine had fun hanging out there. Near the reception there was a second bar, which was open until 11 pm. Thank you Islam, the kindest and most cheerful bartender. Every day he made cool cocktails and brought them to the table himself.
There is a souvenir shop on site where you can buy everything you need. A cool little man Mahmud works there. The only person in the hotel who knows Russian well. He also understands Russian humor. Repeatedly made us laugh to the point of pain in the stomach. Very kind, repeatedly rescued both me and my comrades. Bargain to tears)).
The hotel has a diving center where Aziz (Petrovich) operates. It was he who made our tour unforgettable.
5. Nutrition
You won't go hungry, the standard Egyptian menu: french fries, regular potatoes, spaghetti, rice, beef, turkey, chicken, lots of cheeses and sweets)
6 Animation. She is almost absent from the hotel. At least for adults. For kids, it's normal. Once they held a fire show and walked on glass. That's all. The hotel is boring. The people amuse themselves. We were just lucky with the company, so it was fun.
7. Sea and staff.
The hotel staff is different. It can be seen that the director of the hotel saves a lot on employees. Firstly, there are not enough of them, and secondly, some of them are not qualified, especially cleaners. Almost no one speaks Russian, and few people spoke good English)) Of the vacationers, there were many Europeans and Arabs.
The beach at the hotel is not bad, the sand is soft, there were enough sunbeds for everyone. Low tide before noon, high tide after noon. The beach bar either worked or didn't work.
The sea is shallow for the first 100 meters, then you already feel the depth with beautiful corals and fish. Too bad there is no pier.
The sea in Marsa Alam is generally a separate issue. There is no such thing not in Sharm, not even in Hurghada. We took excursions to dolphins and turtles from Aziz (Petrovich). It was something. Swim in the open sea with huge turtles and dolphins. . . Emotions run wild. The coral reef is also very beautiful.
In general, the hotel is 6.5 out of 10. I had an emotional starvation in the hotel. There was not enough music in the evenings, good animation and a pier on the beach. The director must be changed in order to get the missing workers to the hotel, and to force the rest to learn Russian and English.
But still the sea and Aziz made our holiday unforgettable. If we return to Egypt, then only to Marsa Alam. But not in this hotel!
The food at the hotel is not bad, but there is no variety, every day pasta, chicken, fish, beef, with vegetables and fruits strained.
The room has air conditioning, TV, hair dryer, the safe did not work in one of the rooms, the lock in the bathroom was broken (it was fixed in a couple of days), towels torn from old age. Cleaning and water every day.
WiFi is a separate issue, if you read reviews about it, you think that it works great - DO NOT BELIEVE! The first day the Wi-Fi was dead at all, then the maximum that could be done was to edit the message in Viber, no Facebooks and Instagrams are loaded! The post on Instagram took 2 days to load!
The beach is not cleaned, cigarette butts are lying everywhere. The sea is very shallow, to swim you need to go 500 meters.
The only thing I have no complaints about is the Diving Center at the hotel, the diver Zizu organized all the excursions perfectly!
There are very few Europeans in the hotel, mostly only Arabs!
Choose your hotel carefully! Have a nice rest!
The service staff is very polite, good guys are always smiling. The kitchen does not have many varieties of food, but it is very tasty, especially sweets (almost all cakes and pies melt in your mouth, everything is on honey and a lot of parfait).
The rooms are large, air conditioners work, there is cold and hot water all the time. Wifi is good in the room. The room is cleaned every day. We are very pleased with the rest, although outside the hotel there is nowhere to walk and there are no shops nearby. The nearest market is 3-4 km. Do not miss the chance to go diving, a lot of impressions. Diving with locals is two times cheaper than with a guide.
