Pros:
- low price;
- spacious, clean room, high ceilings, bathrobes, slippers, daily cleaning;
- well-groomed territory;
- good sun loungers by the pool;
- the confectioner bakes delicious and varied desserts;
- ice cream (2-3 colors), freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning;
- adequate bartenders;
- Without children, you can walk to Phaselis in an hour.
Minuses:
- about a third of the rooms of the main building (including ours) overlook the utility block of the Rixos hotel, in addition to the view itself (this is clearly not a garden), powerful compressors work there around the clock. There are 6 of them, industrial, plus huge tin air ducts, all this vibrates with terrible force. With the balcony closed, it seems that the air conditioner is humming at full power in the room, with the open one - that you are standing next to the aircraft engine running.
Periodically, trucks come there and start to back out, the sound signal will wake you up even with the balcony closed. This is despite the fact that we have an expensive hotel standard accommodation option. We could have taken a cheap club promo, but now it's scary to think how it would look like. The receptionist answered: "We have almost all standard rooms like that. " If rooms have obvious flaws, they should be "promo", with a discount. If the hotel is half full, then why are guests placed in the worst rooms? To give a bribe at the reception for a normal one? Or is it anti-Russian sentiment?
- Wifi in the rooms between "very bad" and "not at all" at any time of the day. Even in the lobby, opening the page of the "native" fstravel site is a big problem, like full scale, but the download is not going on. Either there is simply no WiFi, or it hangs on receiving an address, or it breaks instantly. At night, a bunch of messages for the previous day may come. It feels like you're back in the stone age. Receptionist answer: "We have slow internet in Turkey. "
Everyone has had a fast one for many years, but they don’t have it. For those who care about being online, it is better to immediately cross this hotel off the list;
- entry into the sea is crushing. One and a half meters of small pebbles, then cobblestones. Other hotels have piers with stairs or paths for safe entry into the sea, Sapphire has nothing of the sort. I saw people with foot injuries;
- UAI means, among other things, imported drinks. One bottle of Ballantyne whiskey in the Chill Out bar for the whole hotel. There is also a Martini. Even in the lobby bar (the face of the hotel! ) exceptionally sweetish Turkish whiskey is poured. This is not particularly important to me, but the economy calls into question the declared level;
- Meals for normal 4 *. Chicken or turkey, inexpensive fish always, meat usually in very spicy mini-patties or a thin layer of minced meat on top of vegetables. Well, or on a holiday that will be thrown. So that the windows in the restaurant are not empty, they are filled with sandwiches.
- 70% of the guests are Russian-speaking, and only one of the animators understands, the rest are Turks and Equatorial Africa, French-speaking;
- at first the TV did not have an image, the called technician quickly stuck the necessary contact (could it fall out by itself? ). But half of the channels have sound only for the first 3 seconds, this is more of a system problem, they didn’t make a fuss, they just turned off the panel;
- there is no ventilation in the bathroom, which is inconvenient with gluttony and, accordingly, increased gas emission.
Not recommended for all categories.
Animation in the hotel is active. Guys don't get bored. The beach is sandy and pebbly with a comfortable entry. The sea is simply incredible beauty - transparent, like a tear. Swimming shoals of fish can be seen without a mask. You can also rent a tent on the beach at a reasonable price of $25. Wi-Fi on the beach is great. I also want to note the well-groomed territory of the hotel and the cleanliness of the beach. The beauty of this place erases the small flaws of the hotel)).
I think that the hotel meets its declared parameters.
There were badly washed plates and forks in the dining room (after the baby vomited on the 3rd day and I had vomiting on the 5th day, I heard that many people had disorders (WE DIDN'T SWIM IN THE SWIMMING POOL AGAIN, because we came to the sea) , forks disinfected or used disposable and took more processed food, fruit was washed in the room.
I had the impression that the staff in the restaurant (although it is a normal dining room), recruited from the street, I can not imagine what was happening near the kitchen, noticed that the floor was always stained.
C + sea nearby (beautiful, clean), beautiful nature, the hotel lacks CLEANLINESS and normal FOOD, tap water is salty! In 8 days we saw a lot and not always positive.
The children's club is normal, engaged with children and once was a dinosaur park. I turned a blind eye to some things, because we came overseas! ! ! ! ! ! ! We will not go to this hotel again! ! ! ! ! I'm not very demanding, but clean and normal, healthy food comes to the fore! ! ! ! ! I did not believe the reviews, but everything they write is true!
The food is monotonous. Everything is overcooked and tasteless. Alcohol of the lowest quality. In the morning there is no scrambled eggs like in other hotels, with a choice of greens, tomatoes, etc. No choice of dishes on the grill. Read the negative reviews of other vacationers, I agree with everything. Beach chairs are dirty and old. Sofas and chairs with soft seats throughout the hotel are dirty and stained. The tables in the restaurant are sticky after cleaning. Flies are everywhere in the premises, even on the premises.
A gardener with a noisy mower is the norm. Inconvenient location of the relax pool. It is necessary to go out almost to the barrier and it is on the other side of the main territory. From a little positive: the staff is responsive. Resolve any issues quickly. Nature is great. The sea and the beach are perfect. Anyone who doesn't care about comfort will love it. Compare with 4 hotels in Turkey and one in Egypt, which were. All 5*. Price plus minus the same.
In general, I liked the hotel very much. I'll write more.
1. Good location of the hotel. The hotel is located on the beach, which for me was important for families with children. The sea is wonderful, transparent, the entrance is pebbles, in some places larger, but you can go in normally.
2. Food at the hotel. The menu is varied, there was always something to choose from, there were always fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast, which is rare in hotels. Those who were in this hotel before said that the menu was even more varied, but we liked it even now.
There is a children's menu and a diet menu.
3. The staff at the reception is responsive, always responded to requests. Checked in at 11 o'clock. We rested 2 families together, picked up rooms next to each other, which was very good.
Our child was disappointed because the hotel map did not correspond to reality (for a long time I was looking for crossbow shooting)).
4. Animation. Daytime animation is well organized. We attended morning exercises, step aerobics. in general, I liked it (several coaches lead in turn, and some are not very professional). There are many nuances in evening animation. There were dance shows several times a week, the rest - the show "Miss", "Mr" and "best couple" (for a family-type hotel, the idea is not very good, often there were no people willing to participate).
Children's animation takes place in the Tukan club. In principle, there are many interesting activities for children. What I didn’t like is that the animators turn on cartoons at the time that is scheduled for activities (according to the schedule, cartoons are from 12.30 to 14.30). Still, parents bring their children to the club, looking at the schedule, so this should not be.
With the kids club, we had a separate story due to an oversight, and we had to contact the customer service department, after which the situation in the club improved. There are many children in the hotel, there are often many children without parents in the club, but since the hotel provides a service to leave children without parental supervision, first of all, childcare and the safety of children should be organized (these are children, and leaving the club they can go anywhere).
What the kids liked was the inflatable rides that come to the hotel every 2 weeks. The children were delighted!
What I DID NOT LIKE about the hotel:
1. Bed linen and towels, including beach towels, even when clean, stained and torn.
2. CLEANING in the room. Room cleaning is carried out daily, but it comes down only to wiping the floors (this is not even washing, since the stains remained the same as they were upon arrival). Cobwebs, dust everywhere (some read to children in the evening, and turning on everything with cobwebs is not very pleasant). The "icing on the cake" was when the cleaning lady picked up the dirty towels from the floor and folded them as if they were clean (you can tell dirty from clean). The next day, I handed the cleaning lady towels to change.
In a hotel of this category, such cleaning is unacceptable. Especially at check-in / check-out, high-quality cleaning should be organized.
3. Several times I had to contact the reception about the equipment of the room (in one room there was no cold water (they fixed it on the 4th day of contact), then the door handle fell off). I would like the room to be checked upon arrival, and not hotel guests constantly identify problems.
We rested with my husband together (25-28 l) in the period from 27.06-8.07.
We paid 39000 (+-1400$).
The first negative - if you do not have children, do not go here. It was minus the tour agent who advised this park hotel without children.
The territory is green, but very small, in fact, one pool, and another pool across the road where no one goes. There is a “cover from the sun” on the beach, but it actually does not give shade, and a cozy area in the villages is only near the fish restaurant, but there are places for 7-10 sunbeds.
Animation is almost invisible and inaudible. Friends lost a 4-year-old child in a mini club, in the evening you can hear the mini disco better from the neighboring hotels.
The rooms are small, not well maintained, they were cleaned badly even for $ 1, I attach a photo after cleaning, towels with holes.
The food is the biggest pain of this hotel. At what everyone talked about it with whom they communicated on the territory. Every meal is the same for 9 consecutive days. In addition to being the same thing, but also not tasty at all! Burnt meat, pasta, bulgar, strange potatoes, only fried fish, not very desserts, everything, even pancakes clogged with soda and not fried, and an omelet is called “milk in an omelet” - and it is so.
The staff is slow to work, the Russians are rude, + they put 2 people on the issuance of 12 dishes and you stand behind unleavened pasta or folded meat for 15-20 minutes.
The only thing that saved our vacation was the perfectly clean and warm sea. Kemer is gorgeous, mountains + sea = perfect.
In general, this is the biggest disappointment in many years. And yes, I don’t compare this hotel with Rixus because the price there is more than 120 thousand, but there are other hotels in this price policy that simply don’t stand close.
I sincerely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Read the reviews well and choose the hotel yourself. Have a good rest, and we wanted to go home on the 4th day.
Among the shortcomings: very poor cleaning of the rooms, torn towels, old washed and stained bedding.
We saw two live cockroaches in the room. There is practically no animation, but this is due to quarantine. There was morning exercises, yoga and water aerobics.
Food for 4. You won't go hungry, but you won't see any frills either. From meat only chicken and turkey. From fish and seafood: mackerel, and small herring, moreover, it was cooked without salt, it was generally tasteless. From fruits the same thing: apples, pears, oranges, watermelon and melon.
From the pros: excellent restaurant A la carte fish, chic well-groomed green area, first line, Tucan kids club.
As for the washing machine: it is there, but it is old, it takes 2 hours to wash, and only all the things in a pile with packages of other vacationers will not be washed until the machine is full. And only the things of children.
Turkish coffee in the cafe is also there, but not tasty, burnt. Good in a la carte. In the restaurant, coffee from vending machines, powder.
Alcoholic drinks: good beer, their wine, crayfish, and some kind of whiskey, they make cocktails, but it’s not clear on what, my head hurt after their cocktails, and even my husband, although he normally tolerates alcohol.
2. Throughout the hotel, except for the beach, Wi-Fi is excellent.
3. The staff works like bees - they wash, clean, water. The hotel area is perfect.
4. Weak children's animation, a child of 8 years old was not interested. Children's disco throughout the week is the same.
5. All noisy events until 23.00.
6. Very good drinks - beer, wine, champagne, whiskey, all kinds of cocktails.
7. Food - food is quite varied. We really liked yoghurts, freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast, a lot of greens, salads, delicious desserts.
8. You can play tennis for free. There are football and basketball courts.
There is magnificent nature around - mountains, pine trees, the cleanest sea, orange gardens outside the hotel.
2. There was not much variety in food. Mostly chicken, turkey, lots of vegetables and herbs, lots of desserts. But we liked it, no questions.
3. Children's club - norms, our child really liked the evening discos.
4. For adults, exercises, yoga, aerobics, everything is ok.
5. CLEANING IN THE ROOM IS DISGUSTING! We have a small child, sleeps from 2 to 4 and they come to us with cleaning at this time. We swore several times, asked to clean up with us earlier. They don't rush to fix it.
6. A la carte restaurant was open 1 at the beginning of May and once a week. We stood in line for half an hour and there were not enough seats for us. So for a week they did not get there. THE ORGANIZATION OF THE HOTEL IS DISGUSTING!
7. The hotel is cleaned, clean, well maintained.
We will not go to this hotel again!
Initially, we were placed in a room whose windows overlook the wall and utility rooms of a neighboring hotel. After complaining multiple times, we were moved to a more acceptable room. The worst thing about the hotel is the work of the restaurant.
The food is all insipid, tasteless, monotonous, as in the cheapest canteen. The issuance of portions - you stand with a plate - no attention from the staff, as if asking for alms, drinks - draft wine from barrels is diluted and beer is the same, which is poured in only one place. No one even heard of bottled wine, which the waiters should pour. At first there was no children's menu, then something appeared. Ice cream is some kind of chemical toffee. On the beach there are sun loungers-nets (the nets are stretched and the old ones are all stained), beach towels of a dirty beige color do not even cover half of the lounger.
Never again will I go to this hotel and will not contact this tour operator Tui Ukraine. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.
