The arrival of the Russians on November 8 was a disaster for the Egyptians serving the hotel . . The hotel, apparently, is focused on Italian tourists... for them - EVERYTHING !! ! and animation, and performances, and karaoke, and discos... all this is not provided for Russians... even when the guys from our race asked to arrange a disco for us, it was such a humiliation (allowed for half an hour, only quietly (! ) Because that Italians rest after dinner). It's good that there were a couple of strong guys among us, we affectionately called one the Terminator, who can talk loudly and knock on the reception desk with their fists. Honor and praise to them, only with them it turned out to defend their rights...
Of course, one cannot fail to pay tribute to the Italian animators - they are very friendly, smiling... but this is not enough . .
The food at the hotel is quite good, if it weren’t for the flies, from which I can’t save, and the waiters who barely move (we would have been fired immediately), then it’s just wonderful...
The rooms are nice, clean enough . . If it weren’t for the lizards that rustle in the roof and run around the floor, then it’s great . . if you leave $ 1, then all sorts of beautiful things will be rolled out of towels...
The sea is beautiful, diving and swimming is very cool, a lot of different fish . .
Yes! for dessert! on the last day at the reception, you ask for a check-out, in which cunning Bedouins try to enter the drinks you have not drunk! love to do it! and in the morning before leaving, they continue these games... here, too, you need to call the Terminator, they don’t understand in a good way...
otherwise I liked everything... most importantly, the people (ours) were wonderful, thanks to all of them, they are just great!

We stayed at this hotel from December 29.2009 to January 3.2010. We celebrated New Year's there! The hotel is just great! The contingent is Italians, 98% of Italians rest there, animation is in Italian, Italian cuisine, Italian music is very cool. And accordingly, if there are few Russians in this hotel and the main contingent is Italians, then the service is at the appropriate level, much better than in hotels where many Russians rest.

Russian attitude is good. The rooms are very cool, we were in a room with a sea view, paid extra $ 100 for it at the reception and never regretted it. Italians are very nice, friendly, friendly people. In general, a very good hotel, quiet, small. And it is more suitable for a relaxing family holiday. If you want noisy drunk parties and a lot of people, then this hotel is not for YOU.

The hotel is good! Everything is green, clean and well maintained. The room is slightly shabby, but tolerable (the sea view smoothed it out), the cleaning is daily, for 1.5 euros they try very hard and spin swans : ) Food: very tasty, an abundance of vegetables, pastries are simply stunning! In general, they just ate there! No one got sick during the trip.

Service: in principle, not bad! The staff is smiling, friendly and always ready to help. Animation was seen twice - water aerobics and a pensioner's disco, not impressed...
Sea: Fantastic! There is a pontoon - so slippers were not even needed! Be sure to take a mask and snorkel - indescribable beauty underwater!
Well, the end of November is not the best period - it is already cool and windy. And the hotel is good!

During the rest I experienced two incidents about which a year later I can not forget. The beach is a dead coral reef in which a path for divers is made near the fish restaurant, near the far pool. When the wind blows towards the shore, the waves drive water into shallow water, which flows into the sea in a powerful stream in the area of the driver's path back into the sea.

When the wind blows towards the shore, the waves drive water into shallow water, which flows into the sea in a powerful stream in the area of the driver's path back into the sea. If at this time you go swimming in this area, it takes you far into the sea that even the tops of the palm trees are not visible. My comrade managed to stay alive only because he slowly swam back, and because there is constantly a current going to the right, which carried him out of the stream that carried him 200 meters to the right into the sea. The current in the sea is also noticeable with less sea waves when you return to the shore along the divers' path.
Case 2 is associated with medical guards, which are not valid in case of exacerbation

The hotel is very tricky, so I write about everything in detail. I would rate it a solid three. You can go there only because of the amazing sea and no more than $1000. It doesn't cost a lot of money. The hotel is located between Quseir and Marsa Allam. The territory is very small, and around - the desert. We were immediately placed in a bungalow (as I later realized, in a very prestigious "neighborhood"), and our friends were placed in a building near the road.

The hotel is located between Quseir and Marsa Allam. The territory is very small, and around - the desert. We were immediately placed in a bungalow (as I later realized, in a very prestigious "neighborhood"), and our friends were placed in a building near the road. The rooms are the same, only we hear endless Italian music near the pool, and they have the noise of cars. True, it didn't bother us. The rooms are spacious, the furniture is made in a very interesting style - we appreciated it. No complaints. Cleaned up normally, however, we are not particularly fastidious, we paid little attention to this. In general, this is an Italian hotel, but now there are about half Russians there. Animation is also Italian - the worst I've ever seen! We can say that it simply does not exist. The disco is worthy of our village club, the music is appropriate, and the Italians are especially popular with their Italian music, to which they dance the hustle. In general, the animators clearly divide vacationers into people of the first and second grade (it is clear that we are the second). It is very noticeable, but we tried not to pay attention. The only thing that really strikes the imagination is the fakir show, which is held once a week. So do not count on fun and entertainment - they are not there, the hotel is very quiet.
Food - as usual in Egypt, nothing bad and nothing outstanding - normal. The most important thing is their "all" system - it is very stripped down! After 22.00 you will not even find free water, but a bottle costs 2 euros. ! Since there is nothing around for several kilometers, the hotel breaks the prices for everything shamelessly. So stock up on water throughout the day!
The beach is very large, sun loungers, umbrellas are always free. The sea is amazingly beautiful! Very rich flora and fauna. Charm just rests after that! But the entrance to the sea is on the coral plateau. To put it mildly, uncomfortable, to put it bluntly, far from safe. And if there is a strong wind, you will not enter the sea at all. I must say that the wind was always there, and for three days there were strong waves, and we were forced to sit in the lagoons. These are such pools hollowed out in a coral reef (there are only two of them). They have very warm water and sand at the bottom. There are children splashing around. Although in these bays, right at the very shore, I saw stingrays, lionfish, sea snakes and stone fish. (if anyone does not know - these are deadly poisonous animals) This is not to mention the huge number of starfish and sea urchins that stick out literally from every crack. In general, I would not advise going to this hotel with children - there adults also need to be careful. Well, if you nevertheless overcame the obstacle course and were able to go beyond the reef, it’s better to swim to the right - it’s just fantastically beautiful there! Still not far from the hotel, if you go to the right along the coast, behind the hotel under construction, there is a wild bay. All the same waves prevented me from exploring it well, but judging by what I saw, it is worth attention - it is very beautiful there.
Excursions in this hotel you can buy only from guides. We came from Mostrevel and bought a tour from them, which we regretted later. It is better to take excursions from Pegasus - cheaper and much better. So, we went on an excursion to Abu Dabab. This is a world-famous bay, on the shore of which there are several private hotels, and sea turtles live in the bay itself and sea cows come to feed. Our excursion consisted in the fact that we swam along the left bank almost to the open sea, then through the entire bay we sailed to the right, and then along it to the beach. Firstly, no one warned us that we would have to spend about an hour and a half in the water, and far from the shore. Secondly, for a large group - one instructor who did not even have a banal life buoy (and we were very far from the coast). Thirdly, he swam at such a speed that we, having no time to see anything, unsuccessfully tried to catch up with him. If someone drowned, no one would even notice! All in all, it was just terrible! Then we decided to go to this bay ourselves. It turned out to be very simple. You can take a taxi from the hotel for 15 euros round trip. Or you can go to the road near the hotel and catch a car for $ 2 per person one way. In general, from the hotel to the bay is only two kilometers, if not for the heat, you can walk. To enter the beach, you need to pay 7 - 10 dollars, depending on which hotel you enter through. You can climb through a hole in the fence for free, but you will be figured out quickly enough and you still have to pay. There is a gorgeous sandy beach in the center of the bay, and corals on the sides. Approximately in the middle of the bay, turtles live - an impressive sight! , and a little to the right, according to stories, you can see manatees. However, I didn't meet them.
I want to warn against a trip to Luxor. You will first be taken to Hurghada (this is a 4-hour journey), a large caravan of buses is assembled there and taken under guard to Luxor (another 4 hours). There you find yourself in the middle of the desert during the day, in the thick of it, and then another 8 hours of travel back. This is not for the faint of heart!
But, according to reviews, a very good excursion to the Hamata coral reserve with a dive. They say it's worth going there.
Now about health insurance. That this is crap, we already knew, but we had to make sure with all the evidence. First, I paid how many euros for a call to the “free” phone number indicated in the insurance, then I naively waited for two days for the doctor to arrive. The hotel doctor later told me that no one would come - very far from the city. Another mistake of mine - I contacted the administrator. He was very inspired, called the hospital, the hospital called the hotel doctor and he came to us. At the same time, he was forced to charge us twice as much, because part of the money went to the hospital (and, probably, the administrator also got it). And yet, upon returning home, for several months I tried to get through to the telephone numbers indicated in the insurance to reimburse the incurred expenses is absolutely unrealistic, the phone is always busy. So it’s better to go to the first-aid post right away - it’s cheaper and more efficient. Here we were very lucky - the doctor at the hotel was not a local, but an American. According to the contract, he has to work in Egypt for three months a year, and the rest of the time he lives in America. Very honest, smart and professional doctor. He even knows the names of Russian medicines, so if you see a red-haired doctor, then you are lucky - you can trust him.

A good hotel, if the ticket costs no more than 25 thousand rubles. The territory is bare (there are practically no trees, only lawns), very small. The food is normal, not very diverse. The beach is huge, with sun loungers, umbrellas no problem. The Italian animation is just awful. The disco is like our rural one. The only thing that is really amazing is the fakir show once a week - just super. Very stripped down all inclusive! Water is given for free until 22.00 and then offered for $2! There are no grocery stores - so stock up on water throughout the day.
