The hotel certainly has its downsides. But for such an adequate price, everything is very good. and the location is just a fairy tale . . in the center, quiet, beautiful . . I think I will come again

I absolutely agree with the review above - the apocalypse. full. If we do not take into account the active renovation of the entire hotel, with construction waste dumps along the corridors, the cold in which (despite the heater lovingly brought by the security guard) I slept under a blanket in a fur coat, the door held on by honesty, I would like to note the fact that the second entrance to the hotel was open around the clock without supervision, the corridors were dark, which added a special romance.

The location is certainly picturesque, but I could not imagine that when I returned in the evening at 10 o’clock for children, I would not see a single living soul on the street along the way. rare passing cars did not add optimism to one girl walking.
the staff consisting of 2 people observed turned out to be nice.

The hotel, as well as Andreevsky Descent itself, is as close as possible to how Kyiv would look after a nuclear war. In a word, destruction. A road broken by heavy trucks, boulders of impassable paving stones, no working lampposts, dilapidated facades of buildings. It's hellishly cold in Andreevskaya in winter, the heating doesn't work.

In a word, destruction. A road broken by heavy trucks, boulders of impassable paving stones, no working lampposts, dilapidated facades of buildings.
It's hellishly cold in Andreevskaya in winter, the heating doesn't work. Somehow the electric heater helped to warm up, provided the door in the room was closed. But to go into the bath - this is out of the question - the temperature there is like outside.
There is no hot water either. That is, there is a small chance that after waiting 20-25 minutes she will go. But not for long.
The interior is creepy - old furniture, tattered wallpaper, which they somehow try to cover with curtains.
The room is cramped, to get to the wardrobe you need to walk on the bed, which takes up 90% of the space.
Bar in the room - two bottles of water (mineral water and Coca-Cola).
Towels are usually based on 1 person.
Shower accessories - 1 soap and 1 shower cap.
Whether it's worth paying 60 bucks to play Stalker is up to you.
Personally, I felt all the delights of the historical center of the capital city of Kyiv.

The Andreevsky hotel was on the first May 2009. Booked a month "improved" for 570. Confirmation received quickly. Surprises in place. Repair in the building. Wait for hot water for 20-30 minutes constantly, until it drains or until it is turned on, or until it is repaired. The girls are nimble and polite, but the second set of accessories was delivered only on the 3rd day, no one thought to put a couple in a double room right away.

The security guards are nice old people. They charge 20 hryvnia per day for car care. The rooms are in poor condition. Not comfortable. There was a surprise. They offered to pay for 690, because. the price changed and the room turned into a junior suite. Disgrace. We conferred and talked for a long time before we took the price in the reservation. I won't go again, of course. Although it is possible to walk everywhere from Andreevsky in Kyiv, he is not the only one there.

We stayed at this hotel in July 2008. The hotel is certainly not chic, unpretentious. But a very convenient location. It is located in a quiet, cozy place. From the city center 15 minutes on foot. The staff is not intrusive, but attentive. The rooms are simple, but we came to see the city, and only came to spend the night, but the TV worked, towels were changed daily.

So for those who do not want to overpay for the interior, I think it will do.
