The photos that exist on the website about the hotel do not correspond to reality for the most part, they were made as a collage - in particular, the main building and supposedly the beach next to the forest (green) strip. Complete nonsense. The hotel is strictly second line.
Hotel (general impression): it feels like I came to Turkey for the first time somewhere in 2007, so the hotel still looks like the outside and inside of the lobby, restaurant, bars (if you can call them that). The staff (the manager, as he himself put it, is the main one) is always looking for options to make money off of you, which was done as part of the change of number, but oh well - it’s everyone’s business whether they want to pay or not.
Rooms: the number of rooms with and without a balcony was generally tolerable; it was clear that they had once been renovated. I’m not writing about any chips or sloppiness in the tiles, showers and plumbing fixtures, as this happens everywhere.
Cleaning: For me, this topic was so absurd and acute this time that I felt absolutely powerless at the moment when you come (Every DAY! ) and ask to clean the room before 1.00 (before lunch), and not after 15-16 or generally closer to 1.00. And yes, it’s very difficult to call it cleaning; we folded the used towels, closed the curtains, quickly ran a cloth over the floor and left. Every time I remind you to put water for TWO people, and not for one person, I’ll keep quiet about sweet drinks (of the worst quality). I am sure that the woman who understood the Russian language very well, apparently counted on a tip IN ADVANCE, which is absurd, pretended to be very busy, leaving a cleaning cart near our room, but cleaned other rooms in a demonstrative manner. To your health!! ! Linen was changed - once, although supposedly there was a sign ON REQUEST)) - the requirements were not met.
Territory: we can finish with this word, since the hotel simply does NOT have it.
Some buildings are scattered across the roads, a swimming pool - 2 pieces + a small one for kids - with cold water. Although one has a sign - HEATED POOL + 28 Well, well...complete nonsense...it even has a thermometer lying in the water + 20 barely))) Cold water!! ! It was much warmer in the sea. Why mislead people? Although people with me - different ones - came up to the reception and stated this. Completely ignored.
Beach: quite big, as a plus, sand, pebbles, pebbles - basically comfortable. BUT everyone tried to enter the sea in special shoes, I never do that. The water is super - but this is not a plus for the hotel, but for nature and the season))))
Food and snacks (if you can call them that! ): In general, I try not to pay attention to food at all, if there is at least chicken, but in reality the quality and freshness leave much to be desired. I’ll pretend that the season is closing and the last tourists, and perhaps the employees, thought that there was no need to strain themselves anyway. Guys, this is only a disadvantage for you.
Snacks - similar to shawarma and pizza (pide) - tasteless. And the most incomprehensible thing for me was that Airan was not there - there was something similar on tap (shocked! ), similar to acidified water. Fu fu fu. .
Alcohol: the range in bars is disgusting, poor quality, I don’t even write that it’s diluted, since this is already clear by default. The only thing you could drink was wine.
Animation: two (three) young guys and girls with eternally sad faces, with the same “varied” (figuratively) program, both for children and for adults, may already be tired for the season. He distinguished himself, the head of animation - ENES - I think that was his name - speaks Russian, saw that the suitcases were packed, the tourists were ready to leave, they immediately got magnets, bags for the children, and insistently asked right in front of him to write a good review about the hotel. ARE YOU SERIOUS? Ahahahahaha...honestly...here we laughed...Although, apparently, trying is not torture, but he tried.
The music seemed to be back in the 90s, the wind was almost blowing from the sea, hands up, whatever.
TezTour support: this is a separate topic. I flew through this tour a couple of times, but there didn’t seem to be any major problems, not without incidents, but still. And here the tour was from October 19 to October 26.2024. The arrival was at 2.45 - and in fact, with the proposed transfer we would have ended up at the hotel at 3 am, fortunately we booked ours in order to arrive faster, but - let's pretend (YES? Tez Tour) that everything is ok...consider the night lost , but the tourists were silent...and the voucher proudly says 8 days and 7 nights...Ahahahaha...And Attention!! ! Flight back 2.10 24 at 2.59, BUT after 2 days, the flight was postponed to 2.55 in the morning 2.10 24. What does Tez Tour do? Silent...until the last...information about the transfer did not appear even in the evening of 2.10 24, supposedly such a late flight, but nothing that dinner was no longer due?? ? And consider not taking a shower, not lying down.
Fortunately, I had friends in Antalya, he asked me to pick us up at lunchtime to walk around Antalya, take a normal shower, relax, and then get to the airport on my own (AGAIN! ).
The only one who turned out to be responsive and truly humane was the hotel employee (who organizes trips to Kemer, Antalya, etc. ) - Medina and his colleague. May God grant her and her entire family health and always remain as humane!! !
Bought a tour from 20.06 to 27.06. 2023 for 8 people - 3 rooms in the Anex building: No. 2106 - left wing, 2nd floor, No. 2118 - central part, 2nd floor, No. 2224 right wing, 3rd floor.
So, the review immediately after arrival, clearly point by point:
LOCATION - This is a hotel on the second line with two buildings across the street, each building has its own small area, about 200-300 meters to the beach by a narrow lane between neighboring hotels, on the way to the beach there is a constant stench of kitchen hoods and drains of a neighboring hotel.
TERRITORY MAIN BODY - Beautiful reception with recreation areas, playground, there are 2 adult pools with sun loungers and one children's pool, one adult pool with two slides (slides 2 hours a day). In the main building there is a kitchen, a small amphitheater for evening programs and discos, a hookah area, a bar. There is an underground floor, there is a laundry, a mini clothing store, massage and various other services (we didn’t look at everything).
Near the building there is parking for cars - indoor and outdoor. The beautiful logo of L'Oceanica ***** littered with birds caught my eye and none of the staff pays attention to it.
TERRITORY ANEX BODY - A small quiet building, with a cozy reception, there is an adult pool, a children's pool with sun loungers, a bar, a small playground, a pleasant green area with palm trees. Across the road from the building spoils the view of a vacant lot in the weeds and trash cans along the street.
STAFF - We were very pleasantly surprised by the attention upon arrival, we were first fed, and then they were already issued and settled in the rooms ahead of time - thanks for that. In the accounting department there is a little bald grandfather who is rude to everyone, so he spoils the opinion about the staff, I had to stumble upon him when looking for a laundry to take an iron.
According to the cleaning staff: in room 2224 a nice girl cleaned and did her job normally, and from rooms 2106 and 2118 - a guy with a cat cleaned, about him one negative - wrote below

The staff in the kitchen: quite attentive, they immediately clean the dirty dishes and change the appliances, the waiters work well, but if you come to eat at the end of the meal time, they will almost snatch your plates from your hands so that you don’t delay them - this is boorish and we made remarks for that.
BEACH - Compared to neighboring hotels, it is poor, 200-250 meters long without its own pier, but with its free sunbeds, awnings and a bar 50 meters from it. The coverage on the beach from the entrance is sand and pebbles, closer to the water there are solid stones, the appearance of the beach is of little concern to the hotel staff, in the evening no one cleans the sand, only visible garbage is collected and the sunbeds are leveled - here the sand is not raked in and the stones are not removed. For comparison, walk along the promenade in the west direction in the evening and you will understand why L'Oceanica has a bad beach.
ROOMS AND REPAIRS - The rooms were all with a normal repair of rooms and bathrooms, there is plasma, a refrigerator, a safe, air conditioning, a hairdryer (in room 2224 the hairdryer was wound with electrical tape and barely worked), a kettle and cups with tea and coffee bags, entrance to the rooms by cards. Safes without fixing (any cleaner can take it by the arm and carry it away), it is dangerous to leave valuables. The air conditioner is very dirty and clogged with dust in all rooms but it works. In the rooms, the internal locks of the entrance doors do not work through sagging doors. The floor is tiled, each room has a balcony with two chairs and a table. The beds are good and comfortable.
CLEANING AND CLEANING - In terms of cleanliness and cleaning, the hotel does not pull on 5 * at all. In room 2224, the cleaning was normal with the change of towels and bedding, light wet cleaning, the renewal of water, shampoos, and paper.
In rooms 2106 and 2118, they almost never cleaned at all, the bed was never changed, towels were changed once with a scandal, before that the old ones were simply piled up (we planned to check the towels), people in neighboring rooms cursed and put full trash cans in the middle of the corridor to attract the attention of a cleaner with a cat (yes, a person with a cat cleans rooms in a 5 * hotel, this cat will walk over your things and beds if anything is a disgrace). I was very embarrassed by the sight of cleaning in the Anex building after the foam party: all the dirty foam, with spilled drinks and dust, was simply pulled into the pool, it was somehow disgusting, after that we didn’t swim there anymore.
KITCHEN - The food and choice of dishes in the hotel is good, several types of first courses, many side dishes and different salads, a lot of different meats, but little fish, no shrimp at all.
A lot of vegetables and fruits, a lot of pickled vegetables, delicious desserts, delicious pastries, good juices, cocktails, who needs to eat different alcohol. Very thoughtful placement of dishes at different points of the room, so that queues are not created - for this, the hotel administration is great.
BEACH BAR - There are various free drinks and juices, delicious tortillas, pizza and various snacks, from 15:00 to 16:00 - cotton candy. The exterior of the bar itself is a bit shabby and needs a facelift, and the cotton candy machine hasn't been washed for a couple of years now.
ANIMATION - A good animation team, at 10:00 for everyone, fun exercises on the beach, darts, aerobics and more. Every evening there is an entertainment program, there was a good Africano acrobatic team, a fire show, etc. Until 23:00 there is a disco.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Safe - $ 2 / day - a disgrace for a 5 * hotel, I think;
Internet in the room - $10/5 days, $15/7 days, at the reception free of charge;
Beach towels - free of charge, but you need to leave a deposit for every $ 10, at the end you change the towels for your deposit;
Hookah - I bought a light hookah for $10, the hookah is good;
Drinks - Juices (orange, cherry, pineapple, apple), tea and coffee, sweet drinks (Pepsi, Sprite, Cola), bar drinks are very different (alcohol / without alcohol) - everyone drank for free. But there is paid alcohol, I don’t know the prices, I didn’t buy it.
Bottom line: in order to meet the status of a 5 * hotel, L'Oceanica needs very little, namely:
- put the beach in order, namely: remove small debris, remove stones, add sand;
- work with the cleaning staff and the beach; - expel the nasty "poking" grandfather from the accounting department and the janitor with the cat;
- remove bird excrement from the hotel logo - disgusting to look at;
- include a safe and Internet in the rooms in the total price, and not be dishonored by small surcharges.
1. When we were brought to the hotel, we were simply shocked - this is not in the city of Kemer itself, but a village! In which there is not even a place to walk and take a walk. We were settled in the room around 12, okay, rules are rules... But when we went there, we just a * ate... dirty, not cleaned, everything was from previous tenants, etc. A room with a view of mopeds and garages... my husband went to the reception and asked for at least a view of the pool, we were changed and this is with a surcharge.
We go into the new room, the same load as it was in the previous one. The rooms are small, although it seems like after the renovation of 2021, they seemed to be cleaned every day, but somehow we come from the sea near our room, there is rubbish collected and dirty bedding on the floor, and a new one is laid on the bed... they just forgot to clean what was in the room left... service at 0. We flew on ultra, the hotel meets its conditions for a weak 4... but not 5... There are no slippers in the rooms, the bar is empty, 1.5 liters of water for 2 adults 1 child... There is NO hotel territory, from the word at all... there are no cold pools, not a single heated one, to stomp at least 5 minutes to the sea... the impression is that it is like a second coast!
We are very dissatisfied. All that left a good impression was animation and evening entertainment. Alcohol is all local, nothing western, food is not 5-ku.
I am writing a live review just after arriving, I will forgive you very much, be careful when you fly there to rest. The hotel does not match its prices and service.
Pros: delicious food, attentive staff, almost no queues in the restaurant, fast service. The rooms are cleaned, but the number of rooms needs to be updated, there are nuances, but they are not significant.
Cons: air conditioners do not work everywhere (the buildings do not work in the Anex hall, they are also turned off in the main building, where the bar is). For very young children, one pool without slides. Small territory. Also a nuance in the bar on the beach, which closes at 18:00 and the restroom closes with it, i. e. if you are on the beach at this time, then you will have to run to the hotel across the road. Wi-fi is paid, free only in the lounge area, the safe is also paid $ 2 per day. Change of towels 12:30-14:30, it is also not at all convenient to constantly adjust to this time.
Arrived with a child of 4.5 years.
They settled before 14:00, without any additional payments, we lived in the main building, with access to the amphitheater, there was an experience that it would be noisy in the evening, but it turned out to be good insulation.
The room is normal and spacious.
Nutrition: the first 3 days are generally excellent, then everything becomes monotonous, but you won’t be hungry, the only thing we were afraid to take all sorts of salads and pates for obvious reasons, the heat seems (maybe it only seems), but some dishes were re-processed)
Staff: I don’t know where people find the staff rude, everyone is very friendly, the women who clean, the guys and girls in the restaurant, it’s really clear that they have a lot of work, but they don’t show it, they are always friendly, they didn’t see a bad word or an oblique look .
The owner is a very nice man, I saw that he had lunch or dinner with some guests, most likely they are acquaintances, since there are people who come 3-4-5-6 times, he always greeted when he saw him in a restaurant or in the corridor.
What else, the animation seems to be not bad, though ours doesn’t like this kind of entertainment, we were always at sea, and yes, I, my husband and son went barefoot into the sea for 4.5 years, the whole race, I saw people in corrals, but we had norms, this is the prevention of flat feet)
The pools are ok, the slides only work there at certain times.
Regarding the fact that they give out food, at first it confused me, but then I thought that it was even better, knowing our people)
Baklava and macaroons, 2 pcs per hand, everything else is unlimited, fruit is also unlimited. Juices are cloyingly sweet, I constantly diluted the child with water or drank Sprite in case of emergency, it seemed to us that Sprite was even better than juice or iced tea.
The fact that on the beach there is a tortilla (delicious article) and shawarma, it seemed to me sufficient. In the end, well, it’s not possible and there is so much, recently there was breakfast)
The Internet is good, I was at a zoom conference 3 times for 1.5 hours, not a single interruption, and this is the general Internet in the lobby.
By the way, all the staff are Russian-speaking, which upset me a little, because I was hoping to practice my English)))
We give 4 points due to the lack of variety in food, perhaps some insignificant nuances in the room (like the door handle to the toilet is not adjacent to the door for a fee, or something is a little worn out in the bathroom), but in general I would recommend this hotel b acquaintances.
We will not return there just because we want to see other cities, Marmaris Istanbul.
But if you were passing by, you would definitely stop and go to say hello to the owner)
We did not like the food at all, if I honestly do not understand the reviews that write the type is very tasty, etc. , everything was not salty, no consistency, no service either. The only thing that was really tasty was the ice cream. I'm generally silent about alcohol, because it's just a watering hole. Shawarma and a tortilla girl were made on the beach (this is basically the only thing you could eat), but you had to stand in line for at least an hour. The bar often ran out of beer and there were almost no cocktails.
There is no Wi-Fi in the hotel, you need to go to a special room. There is only for an additional fee.
The beach is clean, but there was a catastrophic lack of sunbeds. The beach counts for 300 seats, and the people in the hotel are 2-3 times larger, so coming there at about 9 am there will be no seats.
The sea - oh, you can write a lot about the sea because it crossed out all the disadvantages.
The water near the sea is clear, warm, the view of the mountains is just wow, in a word, I really liked the sea, only if there was more space on the beach so that at least in the sea people do not push.
Pools - there were two, but there was never room, all the deck chairs were always busy, people just came in the morning and put there their towels and all the deck chairs, even if they were not there all day.
The animation was normal, discos for children, aerobics, morning dances. Animators entertained people as they could in this regard, no questions asked.
I do not recommend the hotel at all, and it is a pity that after reading the reviews decided to go there because you actually buy a cat in a bag, everything is completely different than it really is. It seemed that the hotel simply recruited so many people that it simply could not cope with them.
The hotel does not pull for 5, maximum 3.
Rooms.
We lived on the 3rd floor. The room is large (like 28 squares), modern, everything worked perfectly. On the 3rd floor there are very large balconies, which could not but rejoice. Service. The service is pleasant. Nothing annoyed, they helped everywhere, everyone was polite, most often with a smile.
Nutrition.
The food is excellent. There is always a choice and most importantly, everything is cooked very tasty! You can always find places in the restaurant, there are no queues. Up to a minute at rush hour. The delivery guys are very polite and courteous. Especially try the pizza that grandpa makes near the grill. She is incomparable!
Territory.
The hotel area is small, the beach (very large) with another area separately. Everything is very well thought out, so there are always places everywhere: on the beach, and by the pool, and in the theater or recreation areas. No problem. And this was at 80% occupancy of the hotel.
Beach.
The beach is large, sunbeds with mattresses, everything works, everything is cleaned. The beach is sandy. There are pebbles three meters from the sea. The entrance to the sea is quite sharp. After 5-7 meters you are no longer standing.
Activities.
Activities are present. The animators are funny guys. We played bocha, darts, tennis, volleyball, board games. If you need it, you will always find entertainment almost all day long. All activities are standard, but many do not need more. In the evening in the theater there is a children's disco, then adult performances. Everything is standard.
Connection.
Wi-Fi is free and fast only in one huge hall of the hotel with a bunch of chairs. There were often many people there. You can also buy paid Wi-Fi, which will work throughout the hotel. As usual, we bought a local SIM card and inserted it into a small mobile router, which was always with us both at the hotel and on excursions and distributed the Internet via Wi-Fi to all devices (phones, tablets, laptops). The card of the same Turkcell cost 35 USD. with 25GB of internet. Bought in a shop behind the hotel. Then you can replenish traffic at 1u. e. for 1GB. We go there on all trips. Very comfortably! By the way, the card can then be given away for 5u. e. shop assistants.
Rest.
Behind the hotel there are shops with normal prices. And not alone. Conveniently. Of the shortcomings, one can only note the lack of a full-fledged children's club from morning to evening. But this is a matter of territory. Otherwise, we really liked the hotel! Everything is at a very good level. Feel free to advise!
