We arrived in the morning at 12 o'clock and they told us that since we have small children, they will make an exception and check us in immediately (and will not wait until 14:00 as is the protocol). We checked into a quiet room, as they said, overlooking the “garden”. In fact, there was no view of the garden, we were on the 3rd floor and our room looked out onto the roof of the main restaurant, that is, there was no view at all, just the roof of the restaurant. Since we came to relax and not sit in the room, we did not change anything and stayed in this room. I’ll say right away that the room was cleaned with a 3-minus, although the next day the room was cleaned as expected. On the 4th day of rest, the youngest child began to have diarrhea and fever, on the 5th day of rest, diarrhea and fever began for my wife and me, and on the 6th day, for the eldest child. In general, we only had time to rest for 3 days. Upon arrival home, they did tests - the result was salmonella.
In principle, the hotel is very good, the area is large and well-groomed. Entry into the sea is bad, but there are a couple of places where you can enter without problems. Apart from the bacteria we picked up (most likely from food), overall everything is fine in the hotel. The hotel is average 5ka, not luxury, not high class. The rooms need renovation.
1 - a beautiful territory, large, well-groomed, a lot of trees and therefore a lot of shade, it is convenient to walk with a stroller, it is not hot for a child to sleep, it is quiet;
2 - delicious varied food, a lot of grilled fish (salmon, trout, dorado, sea bass, etc. ), some seafood, high-quality pastries, decent cocktails, fruits sometimes norms sometimes unripe, but not important (there were watermelon, melon, grapes , peaches, citrus fruits), delicious ice cream. There is a diet menu;
3 - unobtrusive animation;
4 - the sea is clean, warm;
5 - there is a relaxation pool (no loud music in a place away from noise);
6 - there are a few slides, but for the sake of variety;
7 - there is a small zoo, a 10 month old child is very interested.
Did not like:
1- not important for us, but the Garden Shale has really old rooms that require renovation and better cleaning;
2 - perhaps subjectively, but very cold water in the pools (from the word VERY) and in showers by the sea (it was necessary to rinse the salt water from the child very carefully after the sea) Rarely did anyone swim in the pools, I see this for the first time;
3 - entry into the sea is not pebbles, but really large stones, in the morning it is always calm and you can normally go into the water, but in the afternoon there is always a storm and it will be more convenient in aquashoes. I wouldn’t recommend it for school-age children, it’s inconvenient, but it’s normal for babies in an inflatable ring or in the arms of their parents;
4 - according to reviews, I read that there is Hipp baby food (fruit and vegetable purees), but it turned out to be 1 time, then some local jars, we didn’t risk it, it’s good that we took everything with us (cereals, fruit and vegetable purees)
In general, I liked it, but next time I would like to visit other hotels.
Since I really like the hotel and all my emotions are expressed exclusively by the phrase "how good it is, " I decided to go through the negative reviews and tell you that everything is wrong! It's very good here.
And yes, we are a couple here, we are avid fitness enthusiasts, we have no children. And we rest from 3 to 13 August 2021.
Food: a lot, varied, for every taste. From deep-fried mayonnaise to the most dietary and boiled. They feed and water on the fact 24 hours a day.
They give fish. Pizza is delicious, burgers with chic cutlets. Fruits in assortment. Lots of meat. Grill, turkey - dump head.
In addition to the main restaurant on the beach cafe, there are fish, hamburgers, pizza, salad, fruit, pasta... Everything is delicious.
In the confectionery, even sandwiches are delicious, but I'm not a big eater of sweets.
Freshly squeezed juice: orange and grapefruit. Grain coffee.
Queues. . . Well, there is a queue at gozlima, because they make a piece of cake for you. Or at breakfast at that scrambled egg, where they also make a mix specifically for you: with tomato, onion, cheese. . .
But everything else is fast. Instantly. The staff that feeds and waters you in bulk. Everyone speaks Russian and everyone is nice and unobtrusive! They work like bees.
Sun loungers: by the pools, on the beach, on the pier, on the lawn by the beach. Yes, "our people" occupy a sunbed for the whole day. Such are "our people", but we always found a place for ourselves. True, we are not "lying by the water tourists. " We do not care, we plunged and left.
Full of sun loungers. They are under awnings.
Entry to the beach: the beach itself with sand. Stone entry. There is a pier for comfort. Beautiful and reliable, with a lifeguard. The stones are smooth, it is pleasant to stand on them in the water. NOTHING WILL CUT THERE. Pros for me: because of the stones, the water is super clear, the bottom can be seen even behind the pier. Well, there are no crowds of children, you can relax in silence.
On the beach there is a bar, in the bushes gozlime, a cafe with food on the menu. There are beautiful mountains around.
Animation: we don't use it, so I'm not an "expert", but there are evening shows, children are entertained, there are also some games during the day... Today I rode a sapsurf with them in the pool. Nicely.
The kids have a mini town of Kidsburg, it's a bit away from the main pool, so you can't hear the kids. They also have a small pool with small slides.
BUT! There is also a mini zoo, there are mostly birds. Judging by the fact that they breed, eggs and chicks are available, everything is fine with them there.
Alcohol: I'm not an expert))) but sometimes I even saw strawberries in cocktails. We don't drink almost, the beer is delicious, we drink a little beer. Wine. . . Well, local.
Rooms: we live in the main building. This is a great renovation. I don’t know how they live on the outskirts in a garden chalet. He's off the hook. (And yes, garden chalets are the cheapest rooms in a hotel. If you were put there, then you paid for this room. )
The room in the main building has a good shower, a mini-fridge, a free safe, a flat-screen TV hangs, we don’t use it, all sorts of slippers, bathrobes... They clean it every day.
The only 2 micro cons: no toothpaste and few hooks for robes and towels. Namely, one with two antennae.
All wiring is hidden, the condo is hidden in the wall - well, not a collective farm. Not gypsy.
View from the balcony as purchased. Who is with the sea, who is with the pool, we have in the neighborhood. Because I wanted mountains. I am watching them. Very quiet.
There are some non-working couples of food, but there is no shortage of meals.
The spa works, the fitness club is adequate.
For those who understand. There is even a bench for bench press, dumbbells up to 25 kg, some kind of bar.
And for fans of Pilates on the equipment O MIRACLE reformer, which has not yet been broken.
Wi-Fi: catches throughout the hotel and even on the beach at the bar. We watch YouTube videos calmly. You register in the hotel network by phone number: phone number and your password. If you do not use the Internet for 15 minutes, then you will be disconnected and simply reconnected. Everything. No problem.
Look like that's it. Thanks for reading.
At the last moment, we chose Mirada Del Mar 5 *, since another hotel we wanted to fly to had a sharp increase in price. My husband and I have been to Turkey only once before in Justiniano Delux (this is in Alanya, we drove 4 hours, a long kick, especially in this season). We arrived in the mirada very quickly, 40 minutes, a maximum of an hour, and we were there, we were there at 4 am and stuck in the lobby until 10 am, since everything was packed and even for a surcharge it was not possible to check in earlier.
We are outdoor enthusiasts, but since we had 2 children (one is 3 years old, the other is 11 months old), we decided to rush back to Turkey, as there are all the necessary conditions for a family vacation.
The hotel hooked with its mountain views. And in life everything looks even more beautiful. The landscape designer on site really did a decent job. The interior is so-so, but in this case it was not so important for us.
We were looking for a sandy beach, because the children... They write that they have sand... but the entry into the sea is painful, I thought smart I would do without special shoes, as a result I hurt my legs several times on the cobblestones, plus that there is a pier and you can go to swim from it, but for children it is inconvenient to say right away. We were hanging out by the pool in a paddling pool. . .
The room is cleaned hard, I'm certainly not one of those who find fault with cleaning, but we have a small baby and in such a heat the discarded diapers stank in the room, and I threw out the garbage myself...
As for food, it depends who is spoiled, I’m not a fan of food, I took boiled fish and mashed potatoes for children and I was fine, but those who have been to Rixos and other pretentious hotels will probably say that it’s not very, it depends on what to compare with, but meat and different types of fish. And to be honest, because of these everyday queues, I was discouraged by the desire to eat anything at all.
I understand the pandemic, but lining up for a piece of fish or a couple of olives is tough for me, especially with 2 kids who didn't have the patience to wait at all. While I was getting food with my little ones, my desire to eat something was completely repulsed...
Alcohol is also not a fountain, but it was not so important for us, we didn’t drink very much.
There is a mini zoo, mini shows in the evening, walks in the gardens, the staff is polite, nice people.
We are satisfied anyway, as we are glad that we managed to get somewhere, and the environment is really pleasing to the eye.
So, from the beginning: as soon as we arrived at the hotel at the reception, the girl Victoria (by the way, there are two of them, but I am writing about the one with her hair tied at the top of her head) affectionately offered to see a standard room with a sea view with a hint of an additional fee. I liked the room after viewing, handing her a passport with a $ 20 bill enclosed, to which, looking at the amount, she said that this room was not for us, immediately offered a room on the 6th floor, after looking at it, I thought that I had not come to Turkey , and to the village of Gadyukino, I later learned that this number is intended to educate tourists so that they are more generous with Victoria.
Returning to the reception, I asked how much she would be satisfied with for the original number, to which she replied with a categorical refusal, as another girl heard us talking. In short, the issue was resolved only after the invitation of the head of this shift with the provision of the number that was originally proposed. Special respect to the Turk, I do not know his name, for understanding.
In general, the hotel is not bad, it would be cool if the management made a decent entry into the water, as large stones hurt the legs when entering the water on the beach. The food is normal, fish every day, many thanks. Staff: the waiters Mustafa, Eyub, Hasan, Furkan are wonderful guys, even if they get tired, they are always positive, in a word, well done, special thanks for their attention and professionalism.
The rooms are cleaned at will, the cleaner always waits until the last moment to refuse cleaning at lunchtime, shampoos and other accessories are very limited. And so, in principle, a good hotel, corresponds to 5, a large area. All the best to those who go on vacation. The main thing is not to fall for the evil Victoria. By the way, you can take a PCR test at the doctor’s in the hotel for 20 euros in the evening, the result. Have a good rest everyone.
I want to thank you for the professionalism and decent level of service provided to our family. We had a wonderful time with you from May 25 to June 8 and took with us only pleasant memories. Special thanks to Guest manager Maria - through whom all emerging situations were resolved - promptly and efficiently, believe me, this is priceless not only when traveling with a baby.
I am aware that during the pandemic the hotel is far from operating at full capacity, which means that many activities (la carte restaurants, aqua park area, evening animation shows, etc. ) were not available, but at the same time, it was difficult not to notice how well organized and coordinated the work of all departments. I am pleased to recommend you, because I was convinced that they will hear here and always try to meet halfway. Mirada was included in the list of places where you definitely want to return. All the best to you and thank you!
More about the pros
1. Strict observance of sanitary standards: sanitizers are available in all common areas, in elevators, on floors, and even on the beach. There are sterilizers (including baggage handling (! ). The staff observes the mask regime, in the restaurant there are devices in individual packages, guests do not have direct access to dishes: they showed with their finger what they want - served through the glass. At the entrance to the hotel, to the restaurant - they measure the temperature Rested for two weeks - returned to Kyiv, the test is negative.
2. Well-groomed territory. Photos, unfortunately, do not convey its scale at all - in life everything is much more beautiful. Here is a real pine park with magnolias and hyacinths mixed. And closer to the beach - an improvisation on the theme of the Caribbean coast - palm bungalows! In a word, it is a complete aesthetic pleasure, and there are many good locations for lovers of photo shoots.
Respect to the gardeners - we observed their efforts from early morning, and as a result - the hotel is literally immersed in flowers and greenery. And this is at +35 during the day. A mini menagerie is a separate fan: from rabbits, parrots, swans - to pheasants, guinea pigs and half-meter fiery red carps - all well-groomed, clean, photogenic?
3. The rooms (we lived in the main building, overlooking the sea) are comfortable, fresh, cleaned every day. Cleanliness and tidiness. Wifi in the room on the 4th floor dropped out, it was necessary to update regularly. But fast, there were no critical problems.
The beach is sand and pebble, the entry into the sea is rocky, I recommend special shoes, but you can buy at the hotel for 3-4 bucks. The beach is spacious and very long. Our baby did not swim in the sea, twice it was very stormy and it did not have time to warm up. But adults were very comfortable, cooled; )
4.
Activities: tennis courts, volleyball, ping pong, water polo, aqua aerobics, darts, there is a water transport rental on the beach (bikes, sapboards, bananas, boats, parachutes, etc. ) evening animation started actively from June, and on stage discos went by the beach, which became well heard and seen from the rooms of the main building.
5. Kids friendly. The unconditional friendliness, courtesy and responsiveness of the staff deserves special thanks. The baby cot was delivered to our room ahead of schedule. You can also get a pot, we really brought our own; ) In the restaurant, high chairs and canned food turned out to be a nice bonus. There is a play area with swings and slides, a pool and a water slide on site. On the beach there is a fenced play area with toys. In the evenings, the kids were shown cartoons, mini-disco, although with unrealistically loud music (were the little ones a little scared? ).
The zoo "came" with a bang - we went 5 times to feed the birds and fish (they gave us bread there, on the spot).
6. Menu. Tasty and different fish in the evenings, always an abundance of salads, meat, a lot of deep-fried dishes (for lovers, of course). Fresh for breakfast + cheesecakes, pancakes, waffles. A variety of fruits (pineapples, melons, watermelons, grapefruits, oranges, medlar, figs - long list? . Desserts - an orgasm. You won't go hungry for sure. By the way, "connoisseurs" also have zero complaints about alcohol.
Wishes:
The children's menu leaves a little more to be desired. For 14 days, the child had to buy food twice in the supermarket. The abundance of deep-fried food crowds out healthy, purely children's breakfasts, even omelettes were too fatty, unfortunately, and the choice of dishes for a 2+ baby was limited to oatmeal, pancakes and Hipp canned fruit puree. At lunchtime, we saved ourselves with pureed soups and fruit. For dinner, rice and mashed potatoes, but in 2 weeks she was very tired of everything.
For the sake of truth, I note that we saw one blender in the hall and, if desired, they could try to play with it, blend chicken, rice, etc. , we did not dare. Twice in all the time we “caught” yogurts on the pier, the child liked them, but we didn’t see them again. But for ice cream, the baby would say thank you very much, and so do we!
The sweetest girl named Sevval - our heartfelt gratitude to you and your partner - perhaps the most sympathetic and kind of waiters, inconspicuous, efficient, polite, best wishes to you! Thanks for all!
Aqua slides did not work in May. And so, in principle, everything was fine. A variety of good food, there is table tennis, a spa area, swimming pools, a football field, tennis courts. The Chalet is now undergoing reconstruction and everyone who has taken a tour to the main building is being relocated.
The territory of the hotel is clean and well-groomed, there is a garden where you can take a walk in the evening. The beach is cleared sandy, but the entry into the sea is very rocky, so it’s difficult to enter without corals, there is also a pier with sun loungers, a changing room and a shower, from which you can go up the stairs directly into the sea. There is also one children's and two adult pools.
The food is excellent, the food is varied and delicious.
Special thanks to the staff: they try very hard and are always friendly.
The only negative was the daily disco until midnight, loud music made it difficult to fall asleep, although if you live in a room overlooking the garden, this will not be so critical.
