I will tell about my impressions with confirmation of photos from "Petros".
First of all, extremely dirty, untidy, unaesthetic. The room has a bunch of saws, plafonds on the ceiling are black with corpses of flies. A black web hangs everywhere. Gray-earth bed with holes. The plumbing is so rusty that in 3 days my family did not dare to take a shower in the room. We had to look for other options, which was extremely stressful during the long-awaited vacation. The tiles in the shower are broken, the rug on the floor is just chooorny. The beautiful curtains on the windows are dirty, miserable and torn. Through holes in the walls. To our questions about detergents, they brought 4 bars of soap with the inscription "Ukrzaliznytsia".
There is no basic soundproofing in the rooms: you can clearly hear the conversations of neighbors, the hum of vehicles, it is impossible to sleep at night because there were strong winds, as a result of which the front door rattled constantly, the wind was constantly howling between the wood paneling.
There are no conditions for drying ski equipment, which is also not very pleasing.
The service in the hut also needs better. Ukrzaliznytsia also serves sweet and sweet tea in cups in front of the main course. Garnishes are heated several times, not freshly cooked. And in the chanakhs everything that is not realized during the day is sketched. Well, just HORROR!
The staff reacted to our remarks, at first saying that it was impossible for the flies to die in the plafonds to clean up, that the spiders were in the room, because it was warm here, and so on, but then in our absence it was still cleaned.
And the director was surprised in the conversation, they say we know our problems, but you were not called here, we have our own circle of customers, and you booked a room online, so we can give money and look for a better fate in the winter with children. (but everything is gentle and friendly, I must say). So think twice when you dare to go there.
Have a conscience dear!! ! If we are visiting tourists, this does not mean that we can be fed like pigs!... .
The territory is clean, although something else is being built right next to the cottages. But it does not add garbage. A clearing, flowers, children's swings, benches, gazebos - it's all there.
The sauna in the hotel is small, but it is. On firewood. they are oh-oh-very flimsy. We ordered a bath twice. The first time we ordered with their broom (eucalyptus-40 UAH). But I am an inveterate bath attendant, so when I saw this "lash" : -), and then I tried steam up. . . : -(((
In general, I didn’t succeed. Therefore, my husband and I went to Yaremcha, bought two birch brooms, tied them into one, bought a hat for a bath and gloves in a hardware store (who loves a bath will understand me), and even then-a- a. . .
Yes, by the way, take a hat and gloves with you too. We talked with Natalya the administrator, why are there no hats and gloves? For reasons of hygiene. Also right!
Separately, about the hut. The staff seems to be trying, but there is not enough knowledge. When I was a student and a little after (5 years in general), I worked, first as a waiter, then as an administrator in a restaurant, so I have something to compare with. We were drilled mercilessly.
But if you do not forget that you are not in Bukovel, but in the village of Tatarovo, then all glamorous troubles disappear by themselves.
I wanted, of course, the usual coffee. With good coffee, they have a lot of tension. Grilled trout is beyond praise, meat dishes, twists and loci. Cheesecakes, dumplings and pancakes are also very good.
I recommend everyone to pay attention to the fact that the first courses are well warmed, they are served a little warm. And in general, about the order in which you want to see the dishes on your table, check with the waiter right away.
I wish you all a good holiday. I run away to drink Carpathian tea with Carpathian honey. : -)
P. S. Dear Yuri Ivanovich, we have fulfilled our promise, unlike you.
In principle, we liked the trip. Although there are drawbacks. What pleased you the most is that in this institution you are not treated like the last sucker in the world. That year we lived in Palyanytsia - we paid three times (!!! ) Times more for the same service. First, UAH 150 per room with all the amenities is the best combination of price and quality. (Even such prices would be in the winter !!! ). Secondly, free support in the mountain (Mount Hamster). Thirdly, the hut (restaurant) provided everything you need for a picnic on the territory and even helped with the preparation of barbecue (Vadim, thank you very much). Fourth, the sauna received a big discount. (UAH 15 per person). Fifth, we are grateful to the receptions (two Natalia) for their care and attention. The girls are really good. No surcharges or overpayments were made.
Breakfast was served exactly on schedule neatly and tastefully. It is nice that there is a good service in the Carpathians. (Although the axis I see from the reviews that some were unlucky in the winter). A very big plus of this institution is near Prut. (across the street). I hope to visit Petros again with the hope of a good rest.
Best wishes from Lviv.
The service surprised us. Honestly, I thought it would be worse. All our requests were listened to and fulfilled.
The robot of the restaurant deserves a solid 4+. I liked the fact that the restaurant-hotel link worked, that is, the restaurant and the hotel worked well together. For us, for example, breakfast was served at 7.20 so that we could quickly go to the mountains for a walk. The rooms were clean and warm. The weather was good. Have a great rest!
P. S. Special thanks to the reception staff and the restaurant administrator for fulfilling our private wishes. By the way, our Zhenya then found his love. Special thanks from him.
And one more thing: for those who want to relax in Petros: we advise you to bargain with the manager to the last.
Thanks to the staff - responsive helped fight this nightmare
1. Lack of entertainment infrastructure.
2. Lack of landscaping.
3. Restaurant staff (it's true).
To the pluses:
1. Tolerably drowned. It was very warm in the rooms.
2. Presence of hot water.
3. Delicious cuisine.
In other respects, this hotel is not worse than other hotels, but not better in its price category.
Since I am a skier, and the schedule of the restaurant and the hotel allowed me to make quick transfers to Bukovel (this is a very big plus), I liked my vacation. Special thanks to the administrators for fulfilling our requests.
Now about the kolyba. They call it a "restaurant". If it's a restaurant, then their hotel is a 7-star hotel. No staff.
From the very first order, they mixed up coffee (instead of Espresso they brought a simple instant one), and the waiter apologized for another 2 meters before reaching the table, i. e. he knew in advance that they didn’t have Espresso and decided maybe it’s a ride, it’s a ride because we decided forgive him, but this was our mistake further worse. Of the huge menu, more than half of them do not have (yes, most likely never). New Year you need to see it yourself, they paid 1480 hryvnia for 3 people. We reserved a table before leaving - for which we got probably the worst table in the whole koliba - there was a hanger in front of it - and everything that we reviewed the whole new year - jackets and hats. When they came and saw what was on the table, they were simply horrified. An unpleasant-looking yushka flowed out of the salads, they didn’t put the herring on it, but threw it from five meters into the plate.
If you saw the tangerines that were on the table - the fruit platter for three consisted of three unfortunate rotten tangerines, one apple cut into small pieces and one small sprig of grapes. In total, there was food for one and a half people, I will not say anything about the taste and freshness of the products from which the New Year's dishes were prepared. The menu stated meat in a royal way and a rabbit - we only saw a rabbit, which probably died a natural death and it was cooked - the meat was terrible, and the meat in a royal way was probably "eaten" by the staff. The only thing that was edible was a pig, which was slaughtered for everyone. In general, we left before 1.00 insulted to the point of impossibility, and the next morning, when ordering breakfast (it is free), we were told that we had not paid for the coffee that we allegedly ordered. True, it later turned out how they told us that this coffee was probably ordered by others, but for some reason they wrote it off from our table.
After this incident, the attitude of the waiters towards us became, to put it mildly, nothing - they either ignored us or indignantly asked what was wrong, despite the fact that we did not make a single claim for all the days of our stay. There was such an attitude towards us - we are not customers of this hotel - and so - disposable, who accidentally drove by and stopped by to have a bite to eat. This despite the fact that in the early days we even left a tip. Outraged by this attitude towards us, the rest of the days we ate in Bukovel or in the restaurant of the hotel "Mystery of the Carpathians" - although far away, but tasty, polite and reasonable prices - after visiting this restaurant again, the girl who served us immediately asked if we were from their hotel , then she could reserve a table for us so that we would come without problems and always asked if we liked it - it was even without a tip.
True, I note that on the last day in Petros, the entire staff of the Petros hotel and super restaurant changed completely and even the waiters were helpful and polite, maybe we were just unlucky with the staff of this restaurant, but the administrator of the super restaurant remained the same, Vadim, a very polite guy and the main Thief of this to put it mildly, eateries. Before leaving, when I was warming up my car, he passed by and did not even say hello, and his sideways glance in my direction indicated that his courtesy was transferred to all the staff of this diner.
