We took a tour with breakfast and dinner, when we arrived - we were told that now they only have breakfast and lunch!! ! There is no dinner! it was a goat. There was barely warm water in the tap, it was not comfortable to take a shower. The bath was leaking too! everything was constantly in the water. Everything else is fine. When we left we were charged a tour fee of 5 dirhams per person per day, well we had cash dollars and we were able to pay. The area is good, it takes about 20 minutes to get to the sights by metro, if we go, maybe even stop there again.
The staff does not speak Russian, in principle, you can speak English. Every time after breakfast, the key had to be reprogrammed. Cleaned tolerably, every day.
Meals: promised breakfast and dinner, got breakfast and lunch. food is poor, french fries or boiled, every day boiled rice, eggs, some sausages or boiled sausage, cucumbers, such as tomatoes. Soups did not dare to try. At the hotel we only had breakfast, lunch and dinner almost always in the city. From drinks tea, instant coffee and juice.
There are few Russians in the Hotel, mostly Arabs and Indians. Servants - Indians, Pakistanis.
On the 1st floor of the hotel there is an Indian disco and this is the biggest minus of the hotel. We were given a room on the second floor on the disco side. The feeling that we were not on the second floor, but at the disco itself. It was about 10-11 pm, we went down and, fortunately, my husband speaks good English and once worked with Pakistanis, they changed our room for free, they even showed us two to choose from and quickly transferred our things.
The staff is friendly, but the language barrier makes it all worthless.
There is a free bus to the beach, 15 people. The beach is far away, if you want to leave earlier - only a taxi.
The hotel is located in Deira, so the metro is very close to the skyscrapers. You need to walk to Nasser Square, but he was not impressed. It is worth visiting the Golden Market, it can also be easily reached on foot.
When checking out, there were problems with early check-in, friends tried to find out questions in Russian, it did not help. Only my husband, already in English, was able to solve the problem and we all moved out quite safely.
If you want at least a little comfort, then I still recommend another hotel. This one is only a rooming house, and not the cheapest, if you look at the cost of our tour.
Hotel Zain International 3 * is located 3 houses from Comfort Inn, a small hotel, I was Russian at first : ))) The room is not big, but very cozy and clean, they asked to be cleaned every day, but I just don’t like the frequent presence of strangers among my things : ) The staff is all very good, but there is a problem with the Russian language : ) And I have English!
FOOD... I ate alone in the dining room (very small room), but this is a plus rather than a minus, 2 pleasant waiters circled around me, although the breakfast is very ordinary!
Fried eggs, toast, coffee, tomatoes, cucumbers, sausages (not very paper ones) and some fruit.
Lunch: Chicken soup (I didn’t like it), juice (unnatural), tomatoes, cucumbers... But the second delicious one, the cook took a closer look at what I eat with pleasure, and prepared these combinations for me! Thank you very much! These are shrimp in batter, or grilled, french fries, noodles with vegetables or chicken fillet, rice, vegetable stew, etc... It’s not even bad, I didn’t eat everything, a lot : ) Yes, and fruits: pineapple (not fodder, like ours), watermelon, oranges.
There is an Arab nightclub on the ground floor, you can hear the music, but it didn’t bother me on the 6th floor! But it's boring of course : ) hotels full of Russian City Max, Lords, well, of course Comfort Inn.
The first 2 days the transfer (there was a car at first, because I went to the beach from my hotel alone) took me to Al Mamzar beach (this is a park, the entrance is 5 dirhams) I didn’t really like it... Water 0.5 2 dirhams! (1 dollar 3.65 dirhams)... Then they asked the women from another hotel (we had one transfer) to Jumeirah Beach, where admission is free . . I really liked it, much more beautiful! Water 0.5 1 dirham... The rest of the rest went only there.
3. DINNER. . . The hotel is very well located, walk a block and Rigga Road opens with numerous cafes: McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Burger King and much more. . . But I preferred Golden Fork (Golden Fork) There are a lot of such cafes, on Nasser Square two, and some sell alcohol, but there food tastes worse... The basis of the menu is seafood, fresh juices! The interior is not very good : ) I advise you, seafood cream soup 22 dirhams, and juices: mango, kiwi, etc. 12 dirhams... very tasty!
Excursions... I took it at the entrance to the beach in Al Mamzar Park... Inexpensive, and very interestingly told. I went only to the survey classic, from 2-20 pm, 25 dollars. Praised the safari and Abu Dhabi.
And in conclusion, I liked the country... But it’s very hot, of course I couldn’t live : ) But it’s very beautiful, all these buildings are amazing, causing me respect for the ruling sheikhs of the UAE! Everything is done for the comfort of people! But I don't think I'll be back soon : )
Thanks to all: )))
- the room has everything you need
- bed linen is changed every day
- electronic room key
- central and quiet location
- bus to and from the beach
- bus from and to the airport
Minuses:
- the staff speaks only English and with difficulty, but always smiles and greets with a nod of the head
- a small restaurant, sometimes there is no free space
- if you take only breakfast, as we had, then the choice of food is very weak, lunch is quite acceptable, dinner is generally absent, because. the kitchen does not work, you will have to have dinner in another place at a distance of 100-200m
- no safe in the room, only at the reception
- small hall
About the country:
everything written ahead fades before what awaits you:
- the wonderful water of the Persian Gulf
-unique skyscrapers, you just marvel at engineering!
- the heat is not felt, air conditioners are everywhere, even at bus stops
- elevated metro, which was built and opened in a year
- no traffic jams, 6-row traffic in one direction only
- beauty and luxury of expensive hotels
- supermarkets, by their name "pier", you don't know how to go to boutiques or admire the interior, the second wins even more.
In general, if possible, go and do not hesitate. The hotel is SECONDARY!
One joy is the bay, that's where you can take your soul away, the water is like fresh milk, it didn’t sunbathe, it just swam, it came out of the water only to go home. And of course, excursions - this is not to be missed, there is something to see. Yes, and the hotel staff is very friendly, the smile does not leave the face, not knowing Russian and through English, they are very conducive to themselves. For this, they can be forgiven.
We went with Aladdin (excursion company), were not satisfied, for a long time we could not pick up the disk with the recording of the excursions that we bought from them. The scandal turned out to be grandiose, the most offensive is that you can’t prove anything to anyone, a foreign country))). The choice of a hotel should be approached more seriously if you plan to spend a lot of time in it or want to live on the coast of the Persian Gulf, we almost never stayed at the hotel, we mostly went on excursions. If we go again, then at least 4 stars. But once again I repeat, the country is super and the negative from the hotel and Aladdin could not block the positive from everything else))).
