Chose a hot tour + budget hotel. What the reviews say is true. This hotel was once a beauty with bars, a pizzeria, a private beach - now it is a hotel to stop the poorest local people or people who came for a couple of days. Briefly: terribly dirty, dust and dirt in the rooms, taps in the toilet are leaking, air conditioners just drive air, TV has one Russian-language channel in terrible quality.

Briefly: terribly dirty, dust and dirt in the rooms, taps in the toilet are leaking, air conditioners just drive air, TV has one Russian-language channel in terrible quality. Food: dirt in the dining room, dirty tablecloth, simple breakfast, lunch and dinner are the same: lynx + a piece of chicken or fish, drinks from the refrigerator are also diluted with water, they drank mostly beer and tea. Beach: no - you need to go to the municipal beach in the city. Theft: $30 missing from my friends number and even the rubles were stolen, the debriefing gave a simple answer: hand over the money to the reception in the safe - but whoever saw these safes would be better off keeping everything near him. No activities or entertainment. Conclusion: if you are going just to spend the night - then this is your choice! Attaching photo:

We happened to be there. The plane was delayed for 14 hours. This is not a hotel. This is what used to be a hotel. The rooms are dirty, there is no water, not every room has locks, it is dark in the corridor, we got there with the help of a mobile phone. The air conditioner does not work, there is no soap, there is no paper, the plumbing is leaking, the smell in the room seemed to be stained with bedbugs, the child was sleeping at the reception in armchairs.

The elevator doesn't work. They give food all terribly spicy and peppery, obviously not fresh, funny, big fish heads. Drinks a couple of pieces in hand. We were with a child, forced to buy on the street. Pool with very cloudy water and grease around the edges. The music seems to be playing on a cassette, chewing all the time. There are cigarette butts everywhere on the stairs. Very few staff. At the reception, a friend with glasses, a vile type, openly rude, shut up only when they mentioned the tourist police. Sea in the city. The area was overgrown and crumbled. Do not spoil your holiday people, these hours were enough for us.

Rested 6 - 14.12. 2010. Everything said about unsanitary conditions and theft is true. A bartender nicknamed Hitler watches over half-boarders, God forbid anyone treats them to alcohol. A guy from Moscow, Sasha, who sells tickets - a slippery type, will deceive you like hello. Well, if you are an extreme lover, welcome to le roi.

We went to Egypt for the 1st time!! ! Whoever says that there is nothing to do there, etc. , don’t go, I still think that you need to go everywhere and see everything with your own eyes. I liked the sea very much. As for the hotel, it is better not to go there !!! , I will not advise anyone. I don’t mean that, “I gave money and ended up in a barn, etc.

” The hotel in the photo seems just a beauty, but, alas, believe me. . . Alas. The hotel and its territory, dirty, not well maintained, the pool is terrible, for 17 days I swam 1 time and then 2 minutes. it wasn’t enough anymore, they all cleaned it a couple of times with a scoop, but 1-2 buckets of bleach were added every evening in the evening (the smell is not indescribable). The room was cleaned every day, I didn’t have to pay money for cleaning, but for some reason they always came late from 14.00 to 18.00. We arrived at 05.30 in the morning, sat down right away, didn’t pay anything, the room was with a balcony with view of the hotel, pool, and sea. Regarding the furniture, a little old, but for us it was not so important. The most important thing was the kitchen, when they came to eat for the first time, at first I was horrified, I don’t know how for anyone, but for me it’s very dirty, live flies are everywhere, the floors are not washed, it was scary to eat !! ! Yes, and nothing actually, breakfast: scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried sausage with green bell peppers and onions, boiled beans. For dinner, it also happened that there was no meat at all, if there is meat, then they give it strictly 2 pieces per serving (for me this is normal, but for men... I had no idea that a man could eat this). The fruits were current oranges, 1 time in 17 days they gave melon, 1 time guava. The pastry is mostly jelly slightly sweet, and the bun sprinkled with sugar on top, 1 time they gave something like baklava (puff pastry, "smeared" with honey). Garnish is mostly rice, 4 times were pasta. For 10 days it was normal in terms of digestion, and then terrible pains in the abdomen, a toilet bowl, mezim, activated charcoal began, and for the last 2 days I ate little at all, so tea and a snack. . . I thought I’d be patient (there was no appetite at all), I’d rather go home, homemade food. . . borscht, etc. In the hotels themselves, they rarely cleaned the slop, everywhere they tried dirt. I myself am not a capricious and picky person, but I will not go there again (to this hotel), and I will not advise anyone. And to Egypt, but maybe later someday! Here are some pictures and videos. The experience has been tremendous! A lot of impressions!! !... and almost only Russians rested in hotels, and if you eat with children, then 200% do not go - there is nothing for children there, and there is nothing to feed at all, there is no children's menu (I saw how mother gave her daughter an omelette for breakfast, only they could be fed, and you imagine the whole holiday to feed scrambled eggs).

Was with a friend at 11.2010 and 2 years before. The hotel, of course, is not a fountain, but I have not seen any rats, insects or Arab discos. Food without frills, about the bartender - do not freebie, take everything incl. The main thing is the sea. You need to go to the beach straight to the sea (paid), 5 min.

Stayed in this hotel with a friend. Before the trip, we read reviews and were ready for anything! ) Food is, of course, the biggest minus (wet buns, meat floating in water with beans, rotten fruits... ) As for the service... )) We changed bed linen several times and even swans were spinning from towels, and next to them were chic bows from our underwear!!! ))) We cleaned the room ourselves! The fact that the beach is located on the territory of another hotel is not scary at all! The bus runs regularly, and you can reach it on foot in 8-10 minutes.

Animators on the beach are just super (did not get bored)! In the evening there is a show program by the pool, then you can go to the city (2 minutes by taxi). Despite all these minor shortcomings, we had a very good rest! I do not regret that I visited this hotel! Sea of memories

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of writing reviews. But, as they say, hurt. While going to Hurghada, I read everything that was written here about "LES ROIS". And I became downright scared : ))) But today we have already arrived from Egypt. We had a great rest in this very hotel, leaving Le Roy, we said goodbye to the staff very warmly, the memories remained wonderful.

And I became downright scared : ))) But today we have already arrived from Egypt. We had a great rest in this very hotel, leaving Le Roy, we said goodbye to the staff very warmly, the memories remained wonderful. So most of the "crime" described above by my "colleagues", excuse me, is just complete nonsense!
The hotel, of course, is modest, as they say, without frills. But he stands on our tourist market, please note, very inexpensive. If you are coming here for 800 bucks for two for 10 days, then what kind of claims can there be?
Expensive to pay for "Le Roy" (it is under this name that everyone in Hurghada knows him! ) is definitely not worth it. This is a typical so-called urban "three", almost without territory and without its own beach. By the way, about the beach. . . There is a shuttle bass that runs from the hotel doors several times a day. But this is for the lazy. We used the bus very rarely, we usually went to the beach on foot. It takes only 10-12 minutes to walk past another city hotel "LA PERLA" to the beginning of the so-called Promenade. It's nice to walk in the morning. . .
IMPORTANT! Guests of Le Roy use the beach at the EL MASHRABIA hotel, which, like Le Roy, is part of the PHARAOHOTEL hotel system. The beach is good, convenient entry into the sea, clear water, but small, of course, and there are no corals nearby. In "EL MASHRABIA" the struggle for sunbeds has been going on since early morning. But if you are not too picky in this regard, you can take a chair from the bar or just lie on the sand on a towel. Its better, by the way, to have your own, without messing with all these cards.
The beach bar in "EL MASHRABIA" does not serve guests of "Le Roy". So, heading to the beach, grab a bottle of water - it will come in handy. Drinking water is provided free of charge at Le Roy. By the way, some of our "colleagues" at "Le Roy" still managed, as they say, "insolently" snatch some drink on the beach. So, it is precisely Russians and Ukrainians who behave in a boorish way (ardent greetings to Donetsk! But there is nothing to be done: there are always a lot of our compatriots in such inexpensive hotels. This is perhaps the only thing that upset us during our stay at Le Roy. . . : ))
But back to the beach theme. If you don’t want to go to Mashrabiya, then you should know: not far from Le Roy, next to the famous Marriott, as well as now idle, but the very first Sheraton hotel that appeared in Hurghada, there are two very good paid beaches. For 3-4 dollars, a personal sun lounger and an umbrella, as well as a gentle and clear sea, are guaranteed to you. And, what is very important, there will be almost no compatriots nearby : ))).
By the way, a few words about the location of Le Roy. For the "great connoisseurs" who wrote all sorts of nonsense here, I inform you: the hotel is not "between the Old and New Towns", but between the so-called new Hurghada (this area is called Sakkala) and the chic Promenade, which is very pleasant to walk along in the evening. The promenade, which is a 10-minute walk from Le Roy, I note, is very long, stretching from the Mashrabiya to the Grand Plaza Hotel for 7 kilometers. Here you will find fountains, and shops, and oriental cafes, and various shops . . As for the "Old City", it (I say especially for "experts"! ) Is called Dahar. It's worth going there only if you really like the local color and exotic. . . : )))
Now about the food at Le Roy. Quite tolerable, although, of course, somewhat monotonous. If you don’t climb with plates at the ready in the first 5 minutes of the buffet for lunch and dinner (alas, many of our tourists behave this way! ), Then you can calmly take everything that the chefs have prepared. The choice is about the same as in any Hurghada "three". Buns and cakes are really very tasty, beer, tea, coffee, Sprite - everything is there, everyone is poured. In general, if you are not an esthete, but just came to soak up the sun by the sea and see Egypt, there should certainly be no problems with food.
Now about the numbers. They are modest, but again, they are designed for the fact that you will only come to sleep in them. The water was hot quite often, but even its periodic absence was not very upsetting: after the heat, it is quite pleasant to rinse under a shower at room temperature. Again - we had no problems with this! They cleaned the room every day, as a token of gratitude for a small tip, they wound up traditional swans and all sorts of delicacy. But those of our "turiks" who spared a couple of pounds for this business, they really could have been beaten with cleaning. : )))
In general, we had no problems with the staff. There are people at the reception who speak Russian. All hotel staff are very friendly. Again: as you are to people, so they are to you! Learn a few words in Arabic, say hello in the morning, smile and say "Shukran" ("Thank you") more often, and everything will be HO-RO-SHO. Like we have! . .
In general, a huge hello to Le Roy, which we already miss. : )))
