The hotel was in the center of the town. The food for a deuce is very decent, as it was written earlier, they came from other hotels to eat. Upon arrival, they immediately gave a room with windows to the courtyard No. 204. The owner of the hotel, Platon, was interested in how things were going every day, sometimes he treated all the vacationers to dinner with anise vodka UZO. Agnia works at the reception - she quickly solves all questions - a smart, hardworking young woman. Every day for an hour in the hotel there was a girl Adele from the tour operator Mouzenidis Travel. Where to go, what interesting things to see, what excursions to take, we decided everything with Adele. Wi-fi in the room and at the reception is excellent with good speed. Agnia only needs a password and that's it. In the town, life is in full swing - in the evenings, competitions of folklore ensembles from the Balkan Peninsula were held.
I liked Greece - excursions, the sea, the hotel and shopping are excellent.
I will definitely come to Greece again - everything is excellent !! !

This summer we decided to discover a new country and went with my husband to Greece. They chose the mainland (Pieria region) for several reasons: Firstly, the prices for tours there are lower than on the peninsulas of Halkidiki or the islands. Secondly, convenient access to all historical sites, which allows you to visit excursions as comfortably as possible and get to know the culture and history of this wonderful country.

This summer we decided to discover a new country and went with my husband to Greece. They chose the mainland (Pieria region) for several reasons:
Firstly, the prices for tours there are lower than on the peninsulas of Halkidiki or the islands. Secondly, convenient access to all historical sites, which allows you to visit excursions as comfortably as possible and get to know the culture and history of this wonderful country.
We stayed at the Lito Hotel. It is located on the 1st line in the very center of the village of Paralia Katerinis. The hotel is very cozy and comfortable. Rooms without any frills, but there is everything you need: refrigerator, TV with a Russian channel, air conditioning. Hairdryer and iron we took at the reception. There is also a safe at the reception, but we did not use it, as all the staff are very conscientious and we were calm about our things. Of the employees, I would like to note the administrator Agnia - a very responsive and friendly girl. She speaks Russian and is always ready to help. At first, we were put in a room overlooking the street, but it was a bit noisy. She treated our request with understanding and the next day we moved to a room with windows overlooking the courtyard.
In terms of food, I can say that for a 2-star hotel it’s very decent. Sweden is varied. Breakfast includes fresh vegetables and fruits. Dinners on the menu, but every day something new. And the portions are just huge. You definitely won't leave hungry!
We were satisfied with the hotel. We would like to thank the owner and all the staff. And definitely recommend!

My family and I really like to relax in Greece; visited the islands of Corfu and Rhodes, on the peninsula of Halkidiki. And this time we decided to stop in northern Greece - the region of Pieria. We chose the Lito hotel based on reviews (a lot of good things are written about this hotel on the Internet). We arrived and realized that we are great, that we chose him! The hotel is located in the heart of the village of Paralia Katerinis, surrounded by numerous cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops.

The hotel is located in the heart of the village of Paralia Katerinis, surrounded by numerous cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. The first line, on which the hotel is located, is the liveliest place in the village, life is in full swing here from early morning until late evening. But if you want it to be quieter, you can ask for a room with windows on the opposite side, where there is a cozy green terrace.
The hotel itself is very cozy, there is a comfortable homely atmosphere and good service. I would like to separately note the administrator Agnia, who did not disregard any of our requests. A very pleasant person and a true professional. The hotel is cleaned qualitatively (every day); bed and towels are changed every three days. Rooms are spacious, bright; no frills but has everything you need.
In our hotel every day there was a representative of the tour operator (an hour in the morning and in the evening), you could always ask for advice, ask questions of interest, which is very convenient.
I would also like to note the food separately. From a 2-star hotel, we did not expect anything supernatural - coffee with a minimum set of Swedes, as is usually the case. But the Lito hotel pleasantly surprised us. Breakfast included fresh vegetables, salads and even soups. Also eggs, 3 types of ham, cheese, yogurt, cereal, toast, jams, sausages and more. On the spot, we decided to take supper as well. It's just a meal. Always fresh, delicious homemade food; huge portions. A big plus for the hotel food!
Finally, we want to express our gratitude to the hotel staff and recommend Lito to everyone who is planning a holiday in Greece.

I chose this hotel because of the price and good reviews, you can’t expect much from a kopeck piece, just spend the night, but it turned out to be not so simple, but in order. Arrived in Thessaloniki at 5 pm, at the hotel at the beginning of the seventh, the key was given immediately, room 105, the first residential floor closest to the exit.

As soon as I entered the room, it felt like in a hole, the window overlooks the courtyard above which there is a canopy up to the balcony railing, plus it’s dark, although the west side is sunny at this time, but not far from the house opposite and trees. I returned to the reception and asked to change the number, they said that everything was busy and it was possible only after 4 nights, okay, I didn’t know that these were still flowers.
I had dinner, already at dinner I regretted that I had paid for the dinners in advance for the entire period, the kitchens in the hotel are small, they cook something for the little things, and dinners are brought ready and warmed up, and the buffet is only salads, and the hot portion is served, there is no choice. Having run to lidl for juice and water, I decided to go to bed early, all the same, the road. As soon as I turned on the light, guests immediately appeared - mosquitoes, the vegetation in the yard is apparently well watered and it is quite damp there, by the way, mosquitoes are not so noticeable on the street. I had to close the window. Then it became stuffy, I tried to turn on the air conditioner, it turned out to be directed directly to the bed and it was impossible to lie under it, I opened the window again, I had a fumigator with me. It seems that she began to fall asleep, but at that time someone decided to use the elevator, which was behind the wall and which was definitely not lubricated this season, and everything was perfectly audible from the stairs, in general, the last tenant returned to the hotel around half past three in the morning, and at seven the owner of the hotel came and began to talk loudly with the night porter.
The owner does not speak Russian, and a Polish woman who speaks Russian appears in the middle of the day, I waited for the Musedinis representative, explaining the situation to her, they immediately said that there were no free rooms, but there was Internet (Wi-Fi is free, but the signal is very weak, and the rooms are also not stable) and booking according to which the hotel has 3 free rooms, incl. two of the same price category as mine, I had to be persistent, up to a call to the manager in Minsk, as a result they promised to move tomorrow. The next night, the last tenant returned to the hotel a little before two o'clock.
On the third day, they moved to a room on the second floor with windows to the street. On that day, I left for Thessaloniki for the whole day, put my things in a suitcase, and moved it myself. the day before, when they agreed on the relocation, they told me that the rooms on the second and third floors would be free, I said that it was better to be higher and, as a result, they gave me a lower one. The room turned out to be a quadruple, the double bed was located in a nook without windows and was separated from the main room by a curtain, in the main room there were two single beds.
Those who write that it’s quieter in the yard most likely didn’t live there, or at the same time Chinese or Vietnamese didn’t live opposite them (I don’t distinguish them), who talked loudly until late, it’s easier not to notice the monotonous noise of the street.
I spent a total of 11 nights at the hotel, out of 9 nights in the second room the linen was changed twice, they were cleaned almost every day, there are no complaints about the maids, everything seems to be polite at the reception, with smiles, but as soon as you demand something “a stone in your bosom” is noticed. I also didn’t like that they don’t hand over the keys, but simply leave them on the counter, take whatever you want. Most people are honest, of course, but... I didn’t leave the key, I carried it with me, no one said anything.
Departure was at 15-30, for a delay of 4 hours, the rooms wanted about half of the daily cost, according to booking at the hotel there were 8 free rooms...

Six months ago, I made a plan to return to Greece and celebrate 50 there without speeches, gifts and unnecessary fuss for the hero of the day, which I did. I bought an inexpensive tour for two weeks from Mouzenidis and flew. Whoever was in Paralea knows - this is a resort village like Divnomorsk near Gelendzhik only on the shores of the Aegean Sea (it somehow warms the soul) Hotel Lito is an ordinary 2-star hotel - breakfast and a place where you can take a shower, relax at lunch, store dry wine in the refrigerator and sleep.

The purpose of the trip was as follows: I went by bus to the city of Katerini (20 minutes), then from the bus station (Ktel in Greek) to the village of Litochoro (30 minutes), then from the central square up into the mountains on foot, after 40 minutes I am on Olympus. What can I say, Elbrus will be cooler, but it has its own flavor, some kind of aura of its own - I have been drawn here for 10 years since my last trip. If you repeat my route, then pay attention to the following: go along the right edge of the village, you will get to the Olympus National Park - there will be a concrete path for about three kilometers, approximately in the middle there will be a path up with the number E-4 - feel free to go and get to a wonderful platform where you can and you need (like me) to have a picnic - the views are excellent. There are no special entertainments in the Paraleya village itself. I was at the disco Caucus, a pretty decent place with European music: entrance 4 euros, with an entrance ticket a cocktail is free. The audience comes at 11 o'clock. What surprised me was that there are practically no Russian tourists in this part of Greece. Mostly Serbs, Romanians, Poles. There was volleyball on the beach - all some kind of variety. I won’t talk about food for a long time, there are a lot of taverns, choose according to your taste: dishes 4-10 euros, wine 3 euros 05 liters. In supermarkets I took fruit for 1-2 euros, dry wine (I recommend Emiglikos (2 euros)) I went to Meteora, it’s impressive, I advise you to look. For shopping and gifts I went to Katerini, an ordinary European city, but the shops are pleased with the variety, there is something to buy, haggle, discounts are usually up to 30 percent, a lot of good quality Greek goods. Yes, and it’s just interesting to wander around the city, drink Eliko coffee in a colorful coffee shop

So another dream of my life came true. I visited Greece - Paralia Katerinis. The notorious hotel "Lito". It's good that we were there only 7 nights. For all the time they didn't clean it even once! The sheets and towels were never changed. So, if you want cleanliness, start resenting the very next day, otherwise it will be too late.

The sheets and towels were never changed. So, if you want cleanliness, start resenting the very next day, otherwise it will be too late. From the first night we liked the way of life of the Greeks;
But actually I wanted to tell not about this, but about Greek men. I was struck by their mentality. It turns out that if you want to have fun and interesting time, then you don’t have to wait for one of their men to pay attention to you. You need to outline yourself a "victim" and say what you want. For all the time I have not refused a single man. We had a problem with visiting excursions: expensive and long. As a result of getting to know the local Greeks, they went wherever they wanted for free, while none of them insisted that they be paid "in kind", but were simply modestly offered options. But when you spend a day with a real man, then after that you yourself agree to everything. Men come across different - from waiters and cooks to owners of firms and fur shops. So look, you don’t need to stop at the first one that comes across, you won’t get anything for it. In the worst case, they will call you at the hotel and ask why and where you disappeared. In my 45 years, I have never seen anything like this. So go ahead, you won't regret it!
