This is my 8th vacation in Turkey, I have never seen such poor service and unsafe conditions for women with children. I do not recommend anyone to buy tours to this hotel, you will not be safe, even if you are attacked or insulted, the hotel will not care.
Minuses:
1. Yes, very tired rooms, but we only slept in them. At the same time, cosmetics are not bad, there is everything. For comparison, the rooms in Akka Antedon are worse than in Alva.
2. ALL sunbeds on the beach are busy with towels, but this is probably not a complaint to the hotel, but to tourists who leave towels at 4-5 in the morning and never come to the beach! In any case, the hotel needs to somehow solve this problem.
Buy more sun loungers (instead of Savicheva's fee)) just kidding.
3. And the last thing, if you really find fault with these are a little dirty broken toys in a mini club, a 5-year-old child was bored there.
Yes, and very cold water in the children's water park, but maybe that's a plus, of course, less viruses...
In general, for a week we never got sick or got poisoned, everything is fine. The sea in Kemer is always clean, excellent. I don't like Antalya for the dirty sea, sandy beaches and dogs.. .
Food - go, I would say. Of course, there is no variety, every day is the same. Tolerable. Didn't like the sweet table (cakes, pastries. . . ). The service is terrible. It feels like you don't care at all. Everyone is working hard and thinking "when will you all leave. " There have been rainy days. That is, just from morning to evening it was raining like a wall, the sea was stormy. Eating in a restaurant these days turned into just some kind of extreme action. People in the pouring rain on the street (the distribution of dishes here takes place on the street, in any weather, as I understand it), jumping through the puddles, trying not to wind up on slippery tiles, rushing about with plates, trying to get something out of food and somewhere else - then grab a seat at the table.
And crowds, crowds, crowds everywhere: in a restaurant, in a lobby, in a bakery... Everywhere... By the way, no, to throw waiters to help people so that they bring at least tea and people would not have to run once again after him in the rain and stand in the next queue, but no - it seems that there were half as many of them as there were and catching at least one was also a difficult task. In general, it feels like everything is not for people! This is definitely not 5 stars (in all respects). Also, terrible internet!
If you have not been to a 5-star hotel before, then the hotel can please you! Your first impression, but it will immediately disappear. plus at sea.
Minuses:
Far from 5 stars
Monotonous food
Staff
Old furniture
Small double bed
Bad service
Room cleaning is disgusting
Bar not replenished
outdated plumbing
Someone else's hair by number!
Sun beds always full of towels
The shock we are experiencing here cannot be described in words. This is our 2nd visit since 2017, the hotel has deteriorated a lot. Terrible service. My husband and I have an anniversary of 14 years of dating, we were settled in a room with separate beds. At the request to give a room with a double bed, they said that everything is occupied, they can just move it. after my indignation, they asked me to wait a day until something was released. Next they give a room with a bed of 1.60 m when we were last time it was king size. The mattress is terrible, springs rest against the back. The room is dirty.
The bar is not replenished for 3 days ...in the bathroom on a chain to plug the drain of clothes of red hair, and I am a brunette. That is, we waited for a room for a day and instead they gave us a room with a small bed with a door to the neighbors (family room) where they are constantly heard! The furniture is old! The plumbing is poor. Do not work in the sink the ability to close the drain.
The food is monotonous. We are a little late for breakfast, lunch and dinner for three days, and there is not much to do. If you want to eat something interesting, be the first to go. By the way, upon arrival we were given wine and sweets, fruit. We decided to save them for the day of the head of the acquaintance. In fact, the next day we have to change the room from the 4th floor to the 2nd room. And there was no one to send our compliment from the hotel, we wrote to the reception and in the end nothing! He remained at the top. This is how Alva became.
Very unfriendly staff at the reception, guest relations is a separate issue, the feeling that you are their enemy ...in short, the hotel needs to change everything!
Make repairs, change furniture, teach staff how to work with guests! Work on the menu, many things are beautiful, but terribly tasteless, open a computer office for business people, karaoke for adults, make zones without children, strictly monitor the situation with towels! You can also live in a hotel for a long time and not find out what you are supposed to do here, where you can go and where not. Nobody needs to explain anything to you. WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! Choosing him for the 2nd time was our huge mistake! AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
There are a lot of food choices. There was even borscht) Cleaning, the guys at the bars and in the restaurant, the reception - quite responsive.
We like the location of the hotel - the village of Kirish, quiet with a small walking street with shops. But we went to nearby Kemer in Waikiki. Near Phaselis the ancient city and Goynuk canyon.
But the hotel is of such a level - that you don’t want to leave it), but we still walked for 2-3 days, traveled.
I would like to recommend the hotel to young people and those who do not need silence. There are a lot of people in the hotel, but we did not notice especially large queues at bars and restaurants. We are quite comfortable when there are many people in the hotel. Fun, life is seething, we do not like empty and gloomy hotels.
It's tasty, active and good service.
We will definitely be back!! !
2. Pavilions. We cannot imagine a vacation without paid VIP pavilions. There are as many as 19 of them, against 6 for Marco Polo. They have much more space, they have a fan, a refrigerator, a safe, sockets, the service is perfect. They came to us every half an hour, and in Marco Polo, according to the schedule, 4 times a day.
3. The territory is immersed in greenery and beautiful locations for photos. Visible daily care. A big plus is that the hotel area is huge in width, and not in length, which means that even from the farthest room to the sea it takes 2-3 minutes to go, and the hotel has a long strip of beach where more vacationers can be accommodated (and in the hotel has about 2000 rooms).
4. The water park is bigger and more interesting than in Marco Polo. The slides are more extreme. There are also more pools, although we don’t swim in them in principle. We came to the sea
5. Nutrition. Good, no complaints. Somewhere on the same level with Marco Polo. But there are more waiters, they work faster, they constantly clean up, bring, serve, etc.
6. Living corner. The hotel is home to white and black swans, as well as flamingos, which is very exotic, I think.
Now let's talk about the cons. In principle, I have already discussed them personally with the representatives of the hotel, so I hope that they will be taken into account and the hotel will become even more attractive.
1. The main problem that gives rise to various disadvantages is not the fault of the hotel, but rather the opposite, its merit is 100% occupancy. There are a lot of people, and you can't help but feel it. Yes, the staff is doing everything possible to fix it. Everyone is fussing like ants, trying to have time to serve everyone. Thank you very much for this. We asked for help 5 times and they always solved the problem quickly and efficiently.
2. As a result of the first - the first 2 days of rest there were no free pavilions and we had to look for places on the hotel's common beach, which was also not easy. It would be great to be able to make a reservation in advance when booking a tour.
3. As a consequence of the first - on the beach from 7 am there are almost no free sunbeds. Our people just throw in the towel and go to breakfast. No, well, there are single sunbeds, the beach is really huge, but finding 4 in a row, for example, is not realistic. While there were no pavilions, we contacted the guest relation and they stole 4 sun loungers from different parts of the beach under the shade.
4. Old rooms. Yes, we had a large duplex room, clean, in white (as we love colors), everything worked, a large balcony. 2 bathrooms, plus 2 wash basins are taken out into the corridor, which allows 4 people to simultaneously direct the marafet. But re-innovation is just asking. The rooms do not compete with modern hotels. Outdated plumbing and furniture, weak air conditioners.
5. The pianist in the lobby bar. Initially, this was supposed to be a fat plus, because we are piano lovers, and we planned to attend this performance every evening. But something happened that probably angered us the most of all the minuses. When the wife wanted to shoot her game, she stopped the game and rudely said to stop filming. We contacted guest relation in the hope of getting an explanation for this behavior, but unfortunately, we did not receive any support or apology. We weren't there anymore.
Having found a cool hotel, we are not looking for a new one so as not to be disappointed. Therefore, we went to Kemer for 2 years in a row at Club Marco Polo. Everything suited us in it: food, rooms, territory, beach, animation, performance, disco.
This year there were circumstances that I got on a lockdown in Turkey on my vacation, and our hotel canceled half of the activities for which we went there (disco, adult performance, foam parties, moonlight cocktails), which was surprising for me, because he positioned itself as a club, while other hotels continued detailed activities just until 23:00.
I had to urgently change the hotel, for which special thanks to the tour operator Coral Travel. They helped resolve it without penalty and helped with choosing a hotel for our needs. It turned out to be Alva Donna World Palace.
Looking ahead, I will say that we did not regret that we chose him. Rest was a success. Yes, there were disadvantages, which I will discuss below, but in general, we liked the hotel even more.
I'll start with the pros:
1. The most important feature of the hotel is the frequent performances of stars and a cool evening performance. After the end of the lockdown (from June 1), performances of such stars as Monatik, Zivert, Savicheva, 2Mashi, Aleksandra Stan, etc. are expected at the hotel.
For performance, the hotel has 2 locations, a stage and an amphitheater. Very comfortably. Disco area near the stage - a lot of space.
2. Pavilions. We cannot imagine a vacation without paid VIP pavilions. There are as many as 19 of them, against 6 for Marco Polo. In general, despite all the minuses, we liked the hotel, and we would like to return here at least once more, having got to the performances of some popular artist. I hope that at least some of the minuses will be taken into account by the hotel administration, and its rating will increase from 8.1/10.
