Wi-Fi for a fee.
There were no tourists with children, mostly young people and older people.
Deception - paid wi-fi. The front desk staff is not helpful. There is no cleaning, the hotel staff ignores requests, critically old rooms, non-working air conditioning, cockroaches in the room.
There is no territory, only a pool with a slide, they turned it on after dinner. The food is quite normal: chicken, fish, vegetables, sauces, fruits, sweets. The staff is normal, the nuances are minor.
Chain hotel: the beach and animation were taken to the Elamir Resort. The beach is excellent, sand and pebbles, the entry is comfortable, there are enough sunbeds, there is infrastructure on the beach, a non-alcoholic bar is free. Only the transfer is inconvenient: in the morning and after lunch there, back by lunch and in the evening, but the price of the tour justified it. I didn’t like the city beach at all, we went if we didn’t get a transfer. We caught Wi-Fi in a nearby cafe: once you drink coffee, you are treated to a password, then you use it))) the cafe is also pleasant for the soul)))
The most difficult thing was to withstand the heat (last October it was nicer in Alanya)))
The impressions from the rest are incomparable: the sea is cool, the place of residence is normal for your money, we ourselves went to Goynuk and Phaselis, we took excursions to Demre-Mira-Kekova, a jeep safari in the mountains, we looked at all the city attractions, in the evening there are a lot of places for a walk, shops, cafes and shopping malls close. We didn't stay at the hotel. They knew Kemer))) Although there were people who hung out in the hotel. We also met various people with complaints about other hotels for more money and were pleasantly surprised in favor of our hotel. I recommend the hotel for similar purposes: budget and not bad.
The food is excellent, delicious, and there were sweets and fruits! When we arrived, the settlements had just begun. It was such that we were even alone in the dining room in the first days, alone went to the beach), but then the hotel was full. The beach is city (10 minutes exactly walk right through the center) or taken to their beach, where sunbeds, water, tea, coffee and drinks (such as cola) are free. Urban - sunbeds 10 lira. But if you go at night or early in the morning to the city, you can sit for free, I don’t even know how much they start charging. There are showers and toilets everywhere.
Animation is weak. At first, they even took us to their big hotel (there is a chain), where there were performances, for 14 nights it was only 3 times, because they probably stopped taking us later, since there was a full landing there. In the last 3 days they started saving - for example, a bar from 12-14, and in the evening, when we arrived from the sea - on a break), that is, at the very moment when you have time to drink beer in the heat in the pool, they decided to do break. Many thanks to (forgot the name) the bartender, a prominent one, you will understand, a professional in his field! He is there as the owner of his house, not in the sense of imposingly leading, but on the contrary - he does everything professionally, everything for people - for example, you came for dinner, left things - he will bring you beer, without words!
I recommend the hotel, but if the price is for 14 nights, for 7 nights, what are the prices now - I would be upset. Living here, renting a car and traveling is the perfect vacation.
The next day after meeting with the guide and after lunch, we were moved to the 4th floor of a 4-storey building overlooking the mountains)
The rooms are normal, no frills, everything is clean, tidy, appliances in working order. Cleaning regularly.
Food: food is good. I am not a picky person, and I think that you definitely won’t stay hungry in a hotel. Especially sweets, very, very tasty.
The transfer to the beach runs according to the time indicated at the reception, but sometimes it could leave a little earlier. If you are not a fan of hiking, it is advisable to arrive early and wait for the bus.
The beach is far from the hotel, but it was interesting to walk and look at Kemer. The beach is clean, sunbeds and umbrellas are free, beach towels are not provided at the hotel, so you need to either take it with you or buy it in a store.
On the beach there are free drinks, water, and alcohol is paid. Animators carry out exercises, yoga, play volleyball and other entertainment for vacationers.
Wi-fi in the hotel is paid. For one phone 1 day - $2.3 days - $5.5 days - $8 and so on. Wifi was excellent in the hotel area.
Drinking water is near the pool constantly and in any quantity. Also near the pool there are vending machines with various types of coffee and juices.
The hotel has a free sauna / bath / hammam. But there is a wonderful administrator of the spa center Michael, who will gladly offer massages, and various spa treatments, respectively, for an additional fee. But it's worth it : )
Of the minuses:
-the room on the first floor, where they settled for the first time, was not very good, especially the view from the room.
-beer was normal, but juices were sometimes diluted with water, and it was felt
- the beach was far away
- and of course there are small jambs in the rooms, but it seems to me that you shouldn’t even pay attention to this, because they are in every hotel)
In general, I really liked everything. Special thanks to the staff, the guys are great fellows) I wish only good vacationers)
I recommend)
To begin with, the name of the hotel already contains a specific such a fuck... because the Grand Lukullus Hotel is not a 4 * hotel, it is a 2 * hotel with a huge stretch of 3 * about this to you with a smile, as the hotel staff will tell us upon arrival . This hotel is part of the Botanik Hotel chain - that's exactly what it has 4 *, due to which, apparently, the Grand Lukullus Hotel was assigned its own 4 *.
We came to rest with a company of 6 people, we arrived in the evening, so we started to make out right away. As in any normal hotel, we expected that they would take us to the room, help us carry our things, but this service was not familiar to the hotel staff. They didn’t tell us where breakfast is held either, so in the morning we looked for ourselves and it would be better if we didn’t find it! The so-called "restaurant" is located in the basement right under the pool, in the middle of our vacation we saw that water was dripping from the ceiling (i. e. directly from the pool) onto food and the hotel staff did not bother at all! The food in this restaurant is disgusting, the dishes were dirty for all our claims about dirty dishes, we were told that it was not dirt, but stains after washing, I don’t know how they wash the dishes then if the white plates for soup were brown. Having learned from the locals where they themselves go to eat, we began to go to a cafe near the square. There is really good and tasty food there.
You will not see any animation in the hotel. During the day, even the pool manager Adam constantly turns down the music around the pool. The slide in the pool without scandals did not turn on at all. And when we still achieved that it was turned on, it worked for a maximum of an hour. From alcohol in the hotel was beer, vodka, crayfish, wine and gin. I don’t drink beer myself, but vacationers constantly complained that it was sour, and this, in principle, is not surprising in such a heat, because beer kegs are stored on their street.
The hammam does not work in this hotel, the elevator worked for the first two days, it takes 35 minutes to walk to the hotel’s beach, the rooms are not cleaned and no one will even bring you toilet paper, you have to go to the reception yourself. When on the fourth day we threw dirty towels on the floor and hung a sign on the door "please clean the room" the cleaner in front of our eyes just ignored it all. We turned to the hotel manager, they promised us that the room would be cleaned now. As a result, all the dirty towels were neatly folded in a pile and the bed was made for us, and the cleaning was over.
As for the hotel staff, this is a separate issue !!! ! The staff almost does not speak Russian and hardly understand English, you can only communicate with them through a Turkish translator. The only one who speaks Russian well is the receptionist Omar.
At the beginning of the vacation, our friends paid for the safe, they owed 14 dollars for the entire vacation, gave this Omar 20 dollars and he said that now there is no small money, he will change it and later return the change. As a result, the guys could not return these 6 dollars for several days, the person laughed off and said, "your money flew away, there is no money" or pretended that he had no time to talk with them, and this continued until we crowded up to the reception and they began to demand a refund right now, this hotel employee lost his temper and started yelling that we were rednecks and squeezed some 6 dollars! Of course, we returned the money, but we were shocked by such rudeness, and as we later learned, there were still flowers.
Further worse, our communication with the staff of the Grand Lukullus Hotel "4 *" continued, this employee Omar drank every night at the reception with his friends, danced lezginka and let complete strangers into the hotel. On one of these nights, we were pretty tired of such an antics by the staff and we filmed them on the phone, and in the morning we went to the manager, showed the video and asked the question "why does he allow his subordinates to arrange such a thing in the hotel. " Why did this information that we filmed a video reach the very receptionist Omar. And he flew up to our company with mats, threatening us that we would have problems and now we better not go out into the street, that his brothers would drive up and deal with us. This whole situation took place on mats and raised voices in front of the hotel manager Adam and other vacationers. After everything, we said that we would immediately call the embassy and this was a good thing for them, they began to ask us not to do this, and then the manager apologized for his employee.
We consider this behavior of the staff unacceptable, no matter how many stars the hotel has!
In general, not a hotel, but some kind of hangout. Thank God this vacation is over, we returned alive and THANK YOU for that!
When we arrived at the hotel (it was at 19.30) filled out the check-in card, the young man at the reception was dissatisfied with our appearance... He answered our questions through his teeth. Gave us the keys, didn't even show the room. We did not despair... But, having entered the room, given that we are not picky, but at the same time we arrived at a 4-star hotel, we were a little crazy , , , , I would say differently....the curtains are dirty, there is a stain on the walls , as if someone "burped", the bed is all stained, the towels are stained and in holes, the wallpaper is moving away from the walls and mold is in the corners. When we took a shower in the evening, it turned out that the shower stall was leaking. They asked to change the number, they refused (money was offered). Early in the morning, a voice was heard, the tekto hears for the first time, they may get scared, they called for prayer from the mosque (we were not surprised, since we are familiar with this). But it is also not pleasant, for those who are not connected with this religion and do not understand everything. But be patient. In the morning, a representative of our travel agency (TezTour) came to us - these are people who are bred for money. Don't believe them.... exactly the same tour that they offer can be purchased in two, and if you're lucky, and three times cheaper. I can say one thing, we (for the sake of interest) traveled with a travel agency and bought tickets on the street at the HERO agency. We enjoyed with HERO. Firstly, the price is three times cheaper, the guide, who speaks pure Russian, the food is ok, one thing is probably a nuance - the condo on the bus is a little worse, but this is insignificant, everything is OK for rest. There are other tours, but we didn't try. This is everyone's business. The hotel itself has friendly waiters, bartenders and some chefs. At the reception, everyone seems to be talking to you, but you seem to feel there, as if they are paying you. The beach is 15-20 minutes by bus, although the transfer is free. But only twice a day. At 8.45 and at 14.30. Drivers in Russian do not understand well, but very pleasant. There is no toilet on the beach, so decide all your affairs in advance... For those who are going to relax with small children, this hotel is contraindicated, since the food there is ahhh. Sharp and uniform. You will not see porridge or soup, maximum hominy. Our child (I repeat 12 years old) ate rice and tomatoes with cucumbers there. We tried to eat in cafes. Once, leaving the "restaurant" we saw a cockroach....it was twice as large as our "home-Russian" cockroaches. If the room overlooks the pool, then you will listen to the exclamations of drunks all night. Drinks are all inclusive from 10 am to 11 pm. Beer - one water, the rest did not try. The coffee is also fu. But water Free, not in limited quantities. In general, the hotel is 2 stars and then in a good mood. I forgot to say that Wi-Fi catches mainly on the first floor, and even then not always. It is very rare to catch in the room. Forgotten: housekeeping. Cleaned only where my cosmetics stood. It seems to me that the toilet was washed probably once, we bought toilet paper ourselves, since we wait from them....we changed the shampoo after 6 days (it’s good that we took ours with us). The safe has not been used, all valuables are in place. By the way, there is a plus - food can be taken to the room (secretly true, but no one was indignant). And Rafael also walks there and offers to go to his fur salon, the price tag is the same as in our boutiques.
