Good day! It was my first time in Greece with my family. We arrived at the hotel at 12 noon. Despite the fact that the check-in at the hotel starts at 14.00, we were settled in the room immediately, put on bracelets and told how to get to the restaurant for lunch. The food in our restaurant was excellent - a variety of fish, meat, side dishes and several types of salads are a must! In addition, there were certainly seasonal fruits, dried fruits and ice cream in unlimited quantities (which made my daughter very happy)).

Every evening - a themed dinner (Italian, Mexican, etc. ). There was a separate children's and vegetarian menu.
From 10.00 to 17.00 there is a snack bar by the pool with a good selection of drinks, cocktails (alco / non-alcoholic), fruits, ice cream and small snacks.
Once a week you can order dinner in a Japanese restaurant (not impressed, to be honest).
But back to the hotel. The hotel itself (hall, lobby) was renovated not so long ago and it can be seen, but it is also clear that the furniture (in the rooms) has remained old (though not killed). The room was cleaned daily, towels were also changed every day. Towels for the pool were changed at the reception every three days. Cosmetic accessories (body lotion, hair conditioner) had to beg separately - I did not like it.
Further. The territory of the hotel is large, well-groomed, a lot of greenery. Everywhere is clean and tidy. The pools are big and clean. There are many sun loungers on the seashore and near the pools, but it is clear that they are already "tired", worn and torn in places, but for free (not in all hotels, more often this "option" is for a fee).
The sea is amazing!! ! The end of September is truly a velvet season! Water temperature 26-27*!! ! We did not see any living creatures (neither fish nor jellyfish) in the water - and this is another plus!
During the week of our stay at the hotel, we only once saw an animator who invited everyone to an evening performance. Neither at the pool nor near the sea, we no longer saw any animators (perhaps because it's not the season).
We rode the hills all the time. It was great!
The hotel staff is friendly, smiling, BUT only English speaking!! ! There were difficulties with this (Google with all its translators - to help).
In general - a hotel in terms of price-quality ratio - very well suited for a family holiday. If you do not pay attention to the little things, then you will be able to relax "perfectly"!

I won't write for a long time. We really enjoyed. Rested with a child of 2.5 years. Rooms for 4, food for 5+, entertainment for children 5+, for adults 3. To summarize, Crete is great. The sea is very clean, the hotel beach is good, but the stones! the entry is not very good, but after 3 meters there is sand.

The sea is very clean, the hotel beach is good, but the stones! the entry is not very good, but after 3 meters there is sand. . . If you go to this hotel without children, it's not very cool, but if you have children, it's better not to find. . . there's some kind of kindergarten there))) they feed sooooo well . The attitude is very attentive and friendly. There are many children's pools, slides, playgrounds, etc. . . it makes no sense to take a bungalow! believe me, the same as the rooms but on the side of the hotel... you will not find silence and improved comfort there. take regular rooms... they are all about the same) We took excursions at the hotel, because. the hotel is located 10-15 minutes drive from a more or less civilized settlement, in the evening there is nowhere to walk outside the hotel, but the hotel area is large and entertain here. 3 restaurants, you can eat almost around the clock, drink exactly around the clock, free alcohol is so-so, except for beer... well, in general, we did not regret that we got there. I hope my review will help someone to decide)))

Rested with the whole family, 2 adults and two children (7 years old and 3 years old) The hotel is located between a military airfield and some kind of agricultural institution such as a hay storage. Rested with the whole family, 2 adults and two children (7 years old and 3 years old)
The hotel is located between a military airfield and some kind of agricultural institution such as a hay storage.
The hotel has a sufficient number of Russian-speaking staff, there is always someone at the reception who speaks Russian, some waiters in the restaurant speak.
Upon arrival, we asked for a quiet room so that the children could rest during the day. We were given a room in a bungalow on the 1st floor. Then we decided that we were very lucky, because we did not have access to the terrace and windows to the pool, and not to the air conditioner. So choose seven hundred and eight hundred odd numbers. It will be quiet and calm.
1. The rooms are all small. Declared on the hotel website 23-25 sq. meters actually turn out to be the area of the entire room, including a bathroom and a corridor with a closet. That is a room size 13
-15 sq. meters. Upon arrival, they were even somewhat shocked.
Then we got used to it and it turned out that we had enough, because they only came to spend the night and for the daytime sleep of children. In the room we had a large double bed, and two beds for children. In the bathroom, it is somehow especially clear that the hotel is not very new. The shower sprays water horizontally, our shower height regulator did not work at first, but they fixed it right away, as they said, a bath (you can ask for a plug in the bath at the reception and they will give it without problems), soap, shampoo in the dispenser. On request for children, you can take a potty or a children's toilet seat. This is all issued in the kids club on the first floor of the main building. Room cleaning is impeccable.
2. The food is just excellent. Several types of meat, seafood, lots of vegetables, fruits, yoghurts, sweets are all wonderful. Beer, in my opinion, is not very good, but it seems that it is not very good everywhere. But the wine is excellent. I don’t understand cocktails either, so I can’t rate it.
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant, lunch - at the pool bar and next to the pizzeria.
3. Animation: Several people are working by the pool. They don't speak Russian. Gymnastics, dancing by the pool for children more, water aerobics, afternoon water polo and archery. They also played volleyball in the morning. In the evening, a mini disco for kids from 20-30 to 21-00. Then the evening program for adults. (I put the children to bed at this time, so I can’t say anything about her) Somehow everything is very unobtrusive. Sometimes it even seemed that there were no animators. There is practically no children's animation except for this mini disco. The hotel has a children's room, there sits an aunt who practically does not speak Russian, in the morning she makes crafts with the children. On Friday night, he does face painting for the kids. All. Children can only be left in this children's room if they are over 4 years old. Children over 7 years old are frankly bored.
Playgrounds two 6 ship near the beach and one more, to the left of the hotel.
4. Pool. One large one with shallow water for children, another one with slides for adults (5 pieces, tall, mats and cheesecakes are issued for them) and for water polo (they are separated there). Two for small children, one with fountains and very tiny slides, the other with fountains and larger slides. Rescuers work, make comments, follow everyone. Sun loungers by the pool, our fellow citizens occupy early, early, sometimes observed conflicts. Foreigners came and removed the towels, they themselves were placed on sunbeds. All pools and slides are open from 10 to 18. After that, cleaning takes place.
5. Beach. Very rocky. Gently, only in special slippers. Very large stones right at the entrance to the water. Our little one practically did not swim on this beach. Parents and eldest - in special slippers. But to the right of the beach on the rocks it is fashionable to see sea urchins and crabs.
An eyewitness told how, having swum almost to the buoy, he saw a sea turtle.
6. The hotel has a basketball court, tennis, minigolf, ping-pong table. You can also rent a bike (warn a day in advance. Price 10 euros).
7. There is a free bus to Chania three times a day. It goes along the national road and you can only get to Chania on it. Shuttle buses run twice an hour. we rode it to Agia Marina, there is a wonderful children's beach with sand, finely-finely. The beach is free, sunbeds are paid 3-4 euros per piece. But there is always a place for free accommodation on their own mats, towels. We also went to Platanias to shops. Frankly speaking, there are few shops in Maleme.
In general, we all really enjoyed it. Didn't want to leave.

We rested in this hotel from 10 to 21 July 2011 with two children 2 and 3 years old. The hotel is good, great for families with children, if you are not afraid of a 3-hour bus journey from Heraklion to the hotel, because planes from Russia do not fly to Chania, where there is also an international airport. If you are offered a flight to Chania by Sky Express, do not agree, pay extra money for this "convenience" and as a result you will still change the flight and be brought to Heraklion, so it's better not to even tune in. Our children endured the bus trip well. The food at the hotel is very good, a lot of meat, fish, fruits, for baby food there is a microwave, a sterilizer and a blender. Rooms for children under 2.5 years old have pots, extra towels, a kettle. A good kids club where you can rent sand sets, balls and other toys for free. The sea is clean, the beach is sandy and pebbly, you can take care of special shoes in advance for entering the sea with a pebble bottom, but we hardly used it. Good children's animation. The hotel has a lot of Poles, Germans, British, Americans, Russians least of all. The receptionist speaks only English and Greek, some German, but all are good-natured and polite. Across the road from the hotel is a mini market where you can buy alcoholic beverages at prices like duty free, souvenirs and more. From the hotel three times a day there is a free shuttle bus to Chania and back. The hotel has Internet, wireless, in the lobby and at the pool bar, this pleasure costs 4 euros per hour, but the speed is good. In general, I think the hotel meets the declared 4 stars and class A.
