Visited in October 2011 the Spanish island of Tenerife. We chose the city of Playa de Las Americas, on the southern edge of the island, like to keep warm. This is not the first time in Spain, but for the first time on the islands, they used to rest on the Costa Brava and Costa Dorada. This time we decided to try out what ocean water is like. Went with my husband for two weeks. We successfully found a last-minute ticket to the H10 Conquistador hotel on the Natalie Tour website, they have such a Last minute section - and rushed to redeem, since we have a long-term Schengen. The hotel can be said to be urban, but stands in a quiet place. We drove from the airport less than half an hour, I didn’t even have time to doze off. A huge snow-white horseshoe on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. The inner territory is protected from the winds. Ten minutes walk to the beach. Municipal beach. Somewhere in the reviews I read about the disadvantage - the lack of a private beach! Weird people! There are no hotel beaches in Spain, they are all public property. )) From the hotel to shops and other entertainment is also within easy reach. At first, we kind of wanted to take a car, but then we changed our minds, walked and rode on the common. transport, yet the island is not the mainland. We took the Junior room, large, freshly renovated, we liked it. Very friendly staff, all around smiles and "Ola, ola, ola! " The first two days after Moscow, it even somehow strained, but then, as always, they relaxed, got involved and also lapped in response. The cleaning is thorough, you could ask the maid to come later if you are busy with something in the room. At the reception they give you the information you want, they gave you a free card. In the same place, sitting on the couch, you can climb through the Wi-Fi in the internet. About food. Breakfast every day with almost the same menu, except that the set of meat and cheese cuts changed, and there was jamon several times. But all two weeks we ate with pleasure, because this menu is very large. Factory and freshly squeezed juices, canteen coffee and from a coffee machine, scrambled eggs, sausages and bacons, natural fruits and fruits in syrup, cereals, pancakes, toast, etc. We usually dined lightly, wonderful beer and a couple of montaditos with shrimps and tuna. And they were having dinner late in the evening, in a city full of bars and other establishments, where you could already taste a wonderful steak, fresh perch from the grill and a glass of red. The most favorite was the Vilaflor restaurant, on the coast, along Andrade Fumer street. They have the tastiest fish they've ever eaten and work to the first star, a chic place. In general, although without much preparation this time we went to rest, but everything went by five points. Spain is wonderful, the Spaniards are beautiful!
