We arrived for a promotion (and this explained a lot that did not live up to expectations), as it turned out upon arrival and in general that this is a club hotel, we of course learned on the spot.
Accordingly, almost all rooms have owners, and according to advertising they are placed in reserve rooms. And the equipment in the room is in good condition, our room was cleaned every other day, it was always clean and tidy. The sun loungers were re-upholstered with new fabric, so everything was ok with them too. By the way, there are no air conditioners, and they are not needed, because. the climate is very good and there is no stuffiness and heat. The mini market didn't work, there are other nice shops there.
The lack of a beach did not bother me at all, because. there is an ocean and not a calm ocean, the waves are strong and long, you can’t buy up, although we traveled the whole island and were on many beaches, the beaches are clean, no cigarette butts, no garbage (unlike Greek ones).
The island is very interesting, be sure to rent a car! Russian rights are valid in Tenerife. All you need is rights and money. (a day cost us 38 euros) Representatives at the hotel can help you rent and they can also find out for you whether the funicular to the volcano is working today or not)))
There is something to see, in 2-3 days you can see a lot of things. In 2 days we even managed to climb the Teide, get to the Teno lighthouse, on the way we stopped at Masca, well, a lot more, even stop by to shop in Las Americas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The last straw was the enthusiastic review of our friend, who returned from the Canary Islands, terribly pleased. We decided to go, "maybe for the last time" - the crisis after all. On top of that, a group of friends gathered, 3 families, as a result 6 adults and 4 children, one of which is 2.5 years old, i. e. small. One "good" friend advised this agency. We came, talked, told what we wanted, what we were ready for, what we had an idea about holidays in Europe and, in particular, about the Canary Islands. Why am I writing about this, because holidays in Europe (Canaries) are different from holidays in Turkey or Egypt.
One of the important points is that all the beaches in the Canary Islands are municipal, respectively, paid sun loungers and umbrellas. The beaches are state-owned, respectively, and not always clean (to pay tribute to Turkey, they have an ideal beach)
I must say right away that on the island of Tenerife (one of the Canary Islands), this agency offered us a choice of three hotels Altamira, Callao Garden, El Beril. Why these do not know, but it does not matter. I must say, we were very negligent in choosing a hotel, that is, we completely trusted Sergey Trukhanov, because it seemed that he was a person with experience, but there was no time to select a hotel due to work. They asked for good rooms, they doubted the beach, because there was information on the Internet that there was no beach, but Sergey told us that the opening of the beach at the Callao Garden hotel, which will be right next to the hotel, is scheduled for July 01.

And approach each specific client individually, especially when it is not about a cheap 3-star hotel, but about a rather expensive vacation! And 3 families came to you! That is, there must be an understanding of work for the future, that these satisfied people will return to your agency and bring more of their acquaintances! To do this, all agencies (good companies) send their managers on study tours, they visit a large number of hotels! For what? What they could then offer the client, depending on his needs and capabilities, the most suitable option.
Our choice was one of two options: between Callao Garden and Altamira or EL Beril (the last two are close to each other). Sergey told us about the lack of a beach that we would not even suffer, because everyone on Terenif goes to different beaches. Especially since we planned to rent cars for our entire holiday.
Our “good” friend just returned from Callao Garden satisfied, Sergey, after conferring with the director (with us right at the agency), decided to send us there, that is, to Callao Garden, especially since this wonderful hotel has a chance to get T2 rooms!
An important nuance: Timeshare (English timeshare, “time sharing”) is the right of one of the owners of multi-ownership property to use the property itself in the allotted time slots for him or her. It is most often used in the real estate market as an international vacation exchange system among co-owners of club-type resort hotels. German terminology describes the system more accurately: "Teilzeitwohnrecht" means "Right to reside for a fraction of the time".
So this agency is actively selling this very timeshare, which is why it most likely lives. At the same time they say that they just sell tours, but I don’t know, I didn’t go. Closer to the heart of the matter. Arrived.

In principle, it should not be different, next to such an iron! TV set! Super! Channel 4 is free, and 1 Euro per hour, they will kindly show you another 15 channels, among which for some reason 1 is Russian-speaking. Come on, I already started to find fault (although Sergey, the super head of the tour department, didn’t know himself.

For me - this is one of the most important nuances in the hotel - it's a clean sanitary room and bed linen! The toilet is terrible, with a certain smell! Okay, you can’t convey everything, you can see it in the photo if you wish. This has never happened anywhere on vacation: aftershave lotion disappeared from our room (then I saw fragments of it under the sink), cosmetics samples from friends disappeared!

Everything is as usual: yes, the rooms are bad, but everything is busy, I'm nobody here, maybe my boss Artem (we called him Arthur Pirozhkov for some reason). The “big boss” Artem said that he would make every effort and try to arrange everything.
They decided to talk about our affairs, it would be better during the “presentation”. When buying a tour at the New Tourist System agency, you sign a paper-obligation to attend the presentation of the program, if you don’t attend, then the deposit of 500 Euros (which was taken from us right at night) will not be returned to you! By the way, Sergei did not warn us about the pledge in advance, (at the decision-making stage) only, after reading the reviews on the Internet, I asked him again. It's simple, at the presentation you are actively persuaded to purchase a miracle apartment in the paradise hotel "Callao Garden" in temporary possession, i. e. timeshare. After talking for a long time, we eventually said that we were not ready to invest that kind of money in such a dubious quality of a room))) In general, it is not clear how you can offer people to buy something when you put them in such a hole?
I will not describe here a lot of unpleasant nuances from a conversation with this “boss” Artem, I can only say that this boss is 28 years old and somehow he does not pull for this position. He sighed, and finally said this: If you buy a club membership from us, then it makes sense for us to relocate you! And if you do not buy anything, then, accordingly, we cannot resettle you. You understand yourself, I will move you, and then you won’t buy anything, and then they will punish me, it turns out that you just have a good rest, and we won’t get anything from it. We are very sorry…. But like this.
Even the most offensive, the second place, where the Altamira and EL Beril hotels are located, are really on the first coastline. The beaches are right in front of the hotel and shady in both directions, going from one beach to another for several kilometers! We are with children of different ages, from 2.5 years to 12. Especially with a small child!
If you are a normal worker in this area, look carefully at the composition of families, advise.
Naturally, Sergei, represented by the travel agency, after our calls and SMS, no matter how hard he tried, he could not do anything, so we lived in these rooms! Our friends, the cat arrived a week later at the same hotel, the agency said that we are resting in the presidential suite, and they don’t understand why we are unhappy!
The most interesting thing is that the same hotel "Callao Garden" is offered quite calmly on the website www. booking. com and cheaper, as it turned out later. What is the club system? Which is considered closed, and you can get there only by buying a membership in a club or on a promotional tour?
After returning to Minsk, 2 weeks passed, we all calmed down and I went to the agency.
I talked with the director, Arkhipov Vladimir Nikolaevich. I decided to talk in order to understand how the head of the business would react to this. I manage people myself and I understand that anything can happen.
In a nutshell, my main concerns were:
1. Terrible numbers. So to say "presidential numbers"!
2. The unprofessionalism of the agency employees, so sending families with small children, they could advise the hotel directly next to the beach
3. Terrible attitude of the host, i. e. chief Artem, cat. I was ready to change numbers only after buying a club membership (the issue price is 15-20 thousand Euros! )

Director Vladimir listened very carefully, I copied all our photos to him, told him everything in detail. I can say this, he just got into our situation! He complained about why we didn’t immediately call him personally? Laugh! ! ! I was amazed that we got such terrible rooms, promised to scold Sergey for his bad work, and deal with all the bad guys (such as Artem) who dared to offend us on vacation!
He himself suggested that I move on to a discussion of how and with what and how much they can compensate for such a “jamb”. He told me in detail how they value each client, because they have a % of whether we buy a membership or not! I offered him a simple, in my opinion, calculation: the service of their agency, in our opinion, was not rendered, or rather rendered extremely poorly. The amount of money that we paid them, minus the flight and minus the cost of this "super" hotel. In total, it turns out that they can return us 200 Euros per family. The money that we overpaid when ordering a tour through an agency, that is, their service. He wrote everything down, said that yes, indeed, there is common sense in this ....And he promised to think it over, write to the host, maybe they will take us somewhere, or they will make us some awesome offer!
