Day 7.15. 08.12, Wednesday

VIEWPOINT ON THE WAY TO CAPE FORMENTOR

On this day, we decided to go to Cape Formentor, where the lighthouse is located, as well as some kind of beaches. This cape is the most northeastern point of the island. However, in the end, we never reached this cape, confining ourselves to a viewing platform on the way to it. To get to the observation deck alone, we had to go through a fair amount of narrow roads and sickles, and the further road was, apparently, not the best, so we decided to turn back and go to the lakes located in the district of the city of Alcudia.

As for the observation deck itself, the views from there are very beautiful. There are even several of these viewing platforms located at different levels, so if not scrapped, then you can climb even higher. True, there is a problem with parking spaces there, especially considering that buses also bring tourists there.

LAKES AT ALCUDIA

Lakes are a big word. These, so to speak, "lakes" are more reminiscent of swamps overgrown with reeds. Well, nothing interesting at all.

PLATJA DE MURO BEACH

After the break with the lakes, we decided to swim on the nearby beach Platja de Muro, if in Catalan, or Playa de Muro, if in Spanish. His plan hung on the beach, which indicated the place where the one who watches it was, showers, toilets, restaurants, rescue booths, places of water entertainment, etc. Judging by this plan, a restaurant should have been located nearby, but it is not visible It was. Well, okay, we first decided to swim. And the beach there is not bad, very good. True, the entrance to the water is quite gentle. And when I sailed a few tens of meters from the shore and turned back, I saw the dome of that same restaurant.

BEACH RESTAURANT PLATJA DE MURO

I don't remember the name of this restaurant, but maybe it's called Platja de Muro. However, I did not see other restaurants there.

It was not the easiest thing to get to this restaurant, because there were private houses nearby with the same courtyards, which had to be bypassed.

We ordered mushrooms in oil there (the only normal dish), fresh-type shrimp (as the waiters told us) and, deciding to enjoy the exotic, we also ordered lobster roast for two. The shrimp, which they later brought to us, were clearly not the first freshness, although it was still possible to eat them, and without all the ensuing consequences. Then they brought an additional table, on which they put a lobster brew (by the way, we saw how they caught this lobster from the aquarium), poured the broth on our plates and laid out some of the lobster fragments there. This broth is not tasty at all and, apparently, is used simply to keep the lobster from cooling down. The lobster itself, of course, will be tastier than the broth, but it is also not particularly impressive.

In general, they cheat in this eatery with service. And the sum of the bill was, by the way, 75.2. Moreover, we also left them a tip of 80 kopecks. Because it was scrap to expect change from them. And mushrooms, as I said, turned out to be quite good.

Day 8.16. 08.12, Thursday

PEARL FACTORY IN MANACOR AND SHOPPING

This day turned out to be almost entirely dedicated to the caves, except for the fact that we also happened to get to the so-called "pearl factory" that day. We were just passing through the city of Manacor that day. A little before reaching it, we saw some kind of shopping complex, on which it was written in Russian "pearl factory", and decided to stop there. Entering the trade complex and seeing the showcases with trinkets, we decided to find out where, in fact, the factory itself was.

And in one of the corners of the room, they found an exposition in the form of a machine for making artificial pearls and 2 TVs, which demonstrated the process of its manufacture. Here is the whole factory for you. In general, the calculation there is made for shopping lovers - the second most useful activity on vacation abroad after unrestrained drunkenness (of course, if we are not talking about targeted shopping). Russian-speaking saleswomen there, moreover, are available.

As for trinkets made of artificial pearls, some of them are even more expensive than natural ones. The question is, what's the point of taking them?

TAX FREE checks can be issued there, but for this you need to take goods in the amount of at least 90.

In addition to trinkets, they also sell home-made sausages - some kind of soft and unappetizing both in appearance and taste, and 50-gram scales with local liquors.

It is also offered to taste a drink called Tù nel - this is a liquor infused with some kind of poisonous herbs and has the smell and taste of cough medicine (however, later colleagues at work really liked it). There is such a drink dry, semi-dry and sweet (I don’t know about semi-sweet, because I didn’t come across it). True, you can break off with the tasting: in total there were 4 vessels with this drink, 2 of which were empty, and the plastic glasses that stood there smelled of potion, therefore, they had already been used. But we did not see clean glasses there.

ARTA' CAVES - ATTEMPT #2

This time we went to the caves of Artà (Cuevas de Artà ) right in the morning and, despite the fact that we stopped by on the way to the "pearl factory", we arrived there very successfully: the guide was just launching another group there, so we quickly bought tickets 11 and joined the group.

The guide spoke quite interestingly about each of the "halls" of the cave (the illumination in which, as always, at the highest level) in four languages: Spanish, English, German and French - and also answered visitors' questions in any of these languages. He said that the lowest point of this cave is, if I remember correctly, 29 meters below sea level, the height of some halls reaches more than 40 meters, and the temperature in the cave all year round is, in my opinion, 19 degrees Celsius. “Here, below, ” he said, “there is a hall called “hell”, on the other side there are “heavens” above, but we are now in “purgatory”.

He also showed various bizarre figurines: for example, a phallic-shaped object, which he called an “organ” (by the way, in another place a pair of limestone formations hung on the ceiling, resembling another part of this same organ, and the guide also drew the attention of tourists to this), “sheep” , hanging upside down, "thinker", "mammoth", "flags" and even "bells". The latter, by the way, did not look like bells at all - they were ordinary limestone columns - formations resulting from the fusion of stalactites with stalagmites (by the way, stalactites there, as the guide said, grow about a centimeter in 40-50 years! ). However, when these columns are struck with a fist, they begin to emit something like a bell ringing. You can, probably, even play something like “Chizhik-Pyzhik”.

In general, lovers of speleology will be interested.

We also saw three cats near this cave. By the way…

ABOUT CATS IN MALLORCA

Cats in Mallorca are mostly black and tend to be shy, unlike Cretans. At least 3 cats also lived at our rooming house, but they rarely went out, and if someone tried to approach them, they immediately ran away. The cats near the Artà caves were quite calm, friendly and allowed themselves to be stroked. Only one of them was black, of the rest one was red, the other was white and grey. We met another cat (also black) in the city of Paguerra - the very one where we drank Franz.

ABOUT DOGS IN MALLORCA

In general, there are not so many cats there. But the dogs are walking all the time. Even in some dumps there are images with crossed-out dogs, which, apparently, mean a ban on throwing dog excrement there (well, not the dogs themselves, I hope! : D ).

DRACH CAVES (DRAGON CAVES)

After the Artà caves, we immediately went to others - the dragon caves (cuevas del Drach).

The entrance to these caves was carried out every hour, and the last session there takes place at 17.00. Tickets there are worth 12 from the snout. Free parking place and found there without problems.

An unpleasant feature of these caves is that it is forbidden to take pictures there even without a flash, however, this ban, as always, was safely violated, especially when there were no employees nearby. After visiting the caves, we were offered a show.

A visit to these caves lasts for an hour, and most of the time is spent seating visitors in the hall where this very show is shown. There are benches, and without backs and armrests, and tourists are pouring into this hall in an endless stream. When the stream finally dries up and everyone is seated (and it takes about 40 minutes), the show itself begins, consisting of musicians floating in illuminated boats and playing classical music.

And in conclusion, a video effect called “dawn” is also demonstrated. At the same time, employees walk around the hall and zealously watch, no matter how someone takes a picture of something. Well, at the end of all these shows with video effects, everyone who was sitting on the left side of the hall is asked to go to the left, and everyone on the right, respectively, to the right (girls - to the left, boys - to the right) and they begin to sit in boats, in each of which can accommodate up to 16 people (4 benches in the boat, and each fits the same number of people). At the same time, visitors are seated taking into account the weight so that each boat is balanced and does not roll. Well, then on these same boats, visitors are transported along the underground lake to the exit (travel time is about 5 minutes). After disembarking at the “pier”, you still need to walk some distance to the exit, and here I gave free rein to my desire to take a picture, and with a flash. And what I get for this? Will I be asked to leave?

But I'm still going there! So a few more or less successful pictures were taken.

CALA BONA BEACH

At the end of such a "cave" day, we decided to swim on one of the nearby western beaches. Nearby were the beaches of Cala Bona (translated from Catalan, apparently, "good bay") and Cala Millor (apparently, "the best bay"). We, of course, decided to go to the "best bay", but with a parking space there, we specifically broke off. We found only 2 circles circled with a solid yellow line and most likely intended for bus reversals. Okay, let's go to Cala Bona beach. There we found the same circle, however, parking spaces were “incremented” to it, 2 of which turned out to be free. The beach there is very beautiful, I must say: wide, open expanses of water, the water is clean and has a very beautiful blue tint. The only negative is that the entrance to the water is quite gentle there, but it's such a trifle!

But when you go out to the depths, the sea beckons and beckons, you want to swim without stopping and swim further. I almost sailed straight to Sardinia. Only then I thought, what am I actually going to do there without documents and with only three or four coins lying in the pocket of my swimming trunks, and decided to turn back anyway.

Day 9.17. 08.12, Friday

SOUTHERN CAPE

On this day we decided to go to the southern cape of Mallorca. When we got there, there were a lot of cars there, so it took us a while to find a parking spot. Of the sights there was only a lighthouse, and the beach there was, so to speak, improvised: only stones. There was, apparently, somewhere a more cultural beach (judging by the fact that many went there with beach accessories), but it was far to go there, so I decided to swim directly from the stones without taking off my sandals. And then after all, stones and sharp ones sometimes come across.

In the place where I swam, the entrance was rocky, and then there was just a cliff ...and the sand began already. Vodichka is the purest, awesome light blue color. And the sea is also so alluring that I almost swam away to Algeria, but then I thought: what if these Arabs o5 fight, and I don’t even have a Kalash with me, and decided to turn to the shore anyway.

RESTAURANT VORAMAR

Having visited the southernmost point of Mallorca, we decided to go to the beach, located in the west of the cape, and have a bite to eat somewhere in the same place. After finding a fairly large parking lot and parking, we went to the nearest restaurant called Voramar. Every person, as you know, dreams of finding a place under the sun. So, in this restaurant there were plenty of such places, but in the shade - only two, and one of them was reserved, so I had to take the second one (by the way, when parking in hot countries, as a rule, they also look for a place not under the sun ).

The waiter brought us a menu, which, among other things, included "fish of the day", and what kind of fish is served that day, you have to ask the waiter. The friendly waiter told us that they had a scorpion fish that day, but it is very bony, and sea bass (better known as sea bass from the English sea bass; and in Spanish it is called lubina), in which there are not very many bones. Then he brought us this fish to show. The fish turned out to be quite hefty and, of course, it was designed for at least two. For this fish, a price of 60 was announced. A little expensive, of course, but oh well, walking like that. We also ordered a bubble of rose wine (12.5), but I asked the waiter beforehand if it would be legal to drive after that. He answered me that theoretically yes, after a glass or two you can. The main thing is that the percentage of alcohol when checking with a breathalyzer does not exceed 0.25 ppm (the next chapter will be devoted to driving Bukhara separately).

In the end, I drank about a glass and a half. We also ordered cod croquettes (10) and alioli (3). As soon as the fish was ready, they brought it to us and offered to clean and butcher it. We, of course, agreed. The fish was expertly butchered and laid out on our plates. And we did not regret that we ordered this fish: it turned out to be very tasty! We left there, however, as many as 90, along with a tip.

ABOUT BUKHARA DRIVING

Before going to Mallorca, I looked at several websites to see what concentration of alcohol is allowed while driving in Spain. All sites gave 0.5 ppm. However, the waiter from the previous chapter told me that the concentration of alcohol should not exceed 0.25 ppm. Who is right? So, everyone is right. The fact is that the website indicated the permissible concentration of alcohol IN THE BLOOD, while the waiter spoke about its concentration IN EXHAUST AIR.

And in the exhaled air, the concentration of alcohol, as you know, will be approximately 2 times less than in the blood. That's all the arithmetic. I don’t know what punishment is provided in Spain for driving under a degree, but in the event of an accident under a fly on a rented car, you can forget about insurance and the damage will have to be compensated from your own pocket in full.

BEACH IN THE WESTERN PART OF THE SOUTHERN CAPE

The beach was located a few hundred meters from the restaurant, there was also a water club. Members of this club have the right to use free parking at the same club, but mere mortals will either have to be content with a paid one near the beach, or look for a free place somewhere far away. We chose the first, since paying a nickel for us was not tantamount to ruin.

On this beach, the water also turned out to be the purest and very beautiful shade.

CITY OF S'ARENAL

Since we still had time, we decided to go to the city of S’Arenal, where mostly Germans rest. Parking place (free) is not without much difficulty, but found. The beaches there are very long and quite beautiful, with open water (I can’t say anything about the shade of the water, its purity and the flatness of the beach, because I didn’t swim in the sea there). And the accommodations there are pretty cheap. However, there are a couple of specific points that should be noted. The first is the airport, which is only a few kilometers away, although I don't think the noise from the planes will make it very difficult to sleep at night. The second is the German youth, who likes to raise the temperature just like the British, and also, for sure, turns the city into the “Banderlog planet”.

We arrived in this city at about 7 pm, and by that time the city was already roaming around the city in varying degrees of drunkenness, among which there were many young people, moreover, they were also yelling and even arranging conflicts in which even the cops had to intervene. I wonder what happens there closer to midnight...By the way, only in this city, and in no other, we saw shops with 3-liter buckets hanging in their windows indicating the composition of the cocktail that can be poured there, and its cost. For example, 3 liters of sangria with ice costs 5.95 with a bucket and straws. And rum with cola and ice, however, I don’t know in what proportion, it will cost 17.95, along with a bucket and straws. By the way, cultured people do not add ice to rum and drink rum at room temperature in order to better feel its taste.

Approximately every 200 - 250 m along the beach there are metal tents selling beer (there is, among other things, Kö nig Ludwig beer - on tap and quite tasty), soft drinks and simple snacks. In the back of the same tents there are toilets, as a rule, on the left (if you are facing the beach) me, and on the right - jo. The beach is divided, as it were, into sectors, and the number of the tent corresponds to the number of the sector. For example, we parked the car in the alley between the 1st and 2nd sectors, and then walked either to the 5th or to the 6th on foot. In total, these sectors were, in my opinion, 11, and then another settlement began with its own beach. It is not always convenient for everyone to overcome such distances on foot, so a special train with trailers drives along the beach and carries everyone. For one trip you will have to pay 4 per person.

The ticket says that it must be kept until the end of the trip in order to be ready to present to the employees of the carrier organization or local "authorities". The ticket is bought from the carrier before boarding. We also decided to use this mode of transport. At one of the stops, a company of German youngsters from 5 to 7 people tried to get in there, and all of them were in the same red shorts. For some reason, they did not inspire confidence in the driver, and he refused to put them in. Then they began to chant after him (while one of them even had a swearing gun in his hands): “Ma-ri-kon! Ma-ri-kon! » In Spanish, maricó n simply means "faggot" if anyone doesn't know.

But we never found draft Franz there, although most likely we were just looking badly.

Day 10.18. 08.12, Saturday

LA DRAGONERA ISLAND

On this day, we had to return the car before 19.00, so we decided not to go far - we went to the east of the island in the city of

Sant Elm, from where boats go to the neighboring island called La Dragonera. Parking near the port was paid, and I had to pay 3.5 for it. Next, we found the schedule of these very boats. Here it is:

Sant Elm – La Dragonera: 10.15 – 10.45 – 11.15 – 11.45 – 12.15 – 12.45 – 13.15 – 14.40.

La Dragonera - Sant Elm: 11.30 - 12.30 - 13.30 - 15.00 - 15.50.

From April 1 to September 30, this schedule is valid every day.

From February 1 to March 31 and from October 1 to November 4 - Sunday is a day off.

And, finally, from November 5 to January 31, these boats do not go at all.

There is a ticket for a boat for 11 from the bow (or snout - as you like) both ways, and you need to pay before sailing back. The team members hand out tickets to the island to everyone (they are also included in the price already mentioned) and ask who plans to return and at what time (according to the schedule, of course, and not when anyone pleases). Swim to the island for about 15 minutes, if not even less.

Well, what can I say, a lighthouse is like a lighthouse, it seems that it even operates, judging by the crap that is spinning in it. It is located, however, in the place that also serves as an observation deck. And even the ledge on which the city of Soller is located is visible from there. This is the one to which we rode on an ancient train and from where we then went to the port on an equally ancient tram.

We got back to the pier noticeably faster, because we didn’t stop anywhere along the way. We managed to get on the ship with a margin, I even managed to swim a little in the local waters.

SAM PORT SANT ELM

In the port we went to one of the local restaurants, where we took a portion of small squids (10.50), paella for two (28) and a couple of bottles of lemonade (2.4 for 0.33 l). Everything turned out pretty tasty. And in one of the shops where we went for mineral water, we also found our beloved Franz in half-liter cans at 1.89. Cheap. In Moscow, such a jar will cost no less than 120 rubles.

And then I read somewhere a horror story about how one dude in Spain, when handing over some Buick there, was met by cops presenting him with evidence of his repeated violations of the speed limit, for each of which there is a fine the size of a mower. He didn’t have such a bubble, so he even had to spend some time in a local butyrka. But I hope it was still nothing more than a horror story.

Day 11.19. 08.12, Sunday

On this day, nothing particularly interesting happened to us, we just lay on the beach, drank beer and sanguar, both on the beach itself and in bars, walked along the streets, etc.

Day 12.20. 08.12, Monday

On this day, we decided to take a walk along the surrounding waters on a ship with a transparent bottom. A ticket for the boat costs 17 per snout (for children 9). The boat trip takes about 2 hours. Along the way, the boat bypasses several beaches: Cala Vinyes, Magaluf, Son Matias and Palmanova.

The schedule of these boats for Magaluf is as follows:

Weekdays: 11.00 - 13.00 - 15.00.

Weekends: Weekdays: 11.00 – 15.00.

To get the schedule from Cala Vinyes, you need to make an amendment minus 15 minutes, from Son Matias - plus a chirp of minutes, and from Palmanova beach - plus 15 minutes.

The ship has three decks. The first is rather not a deck, but transparent hydrofoils, from which you can enjoy the underwater world (the entrance to each such wing is separate). The second is the main, glazed deck, where there is a buffet and a toilet. Well, the third deck, open, is designed for those who like to enjoy the surrounding views. Beer at the bar costs a double for 0.25 liters.

While the boat is moving, you don’t even have to try to enjoy the seabed, because only muddy water will be visible. But while parking, you can even see some fish.

Having sailed into one of the bays, we saw a motor boat, and then the audience on our boat noticeably perked up.

It turned out that on the same boat, the wand in love was indulging in the game of "stick-holes" with might and main, so they had to urgently hide behind something.

The boat stops in one of the places, and everyone is invited to watch the fish from the first deck, or go swimming (you can slide down a small hill from the middle deck). It is better to see the fish first, and then go for a swim, because entering hydrofoils in wet and flowing clothes is not welcome.

When boarding the boat, all future passengers are photographed, and then during the trip they offer everyone to buy their pictures for a nickel.

BAR AT THE HOUSE

This bar has one bartender who loves to treat everyone to sangria, made according to his own recipe. It costs him 8.5. And since, in addition to wine, he adds strong liqueurs like Cointreau there, the sanguine turns out to be very picky, and you can easily “fly away” from one liter jug.

But I didn’t drink sanguine there that day, deciding to limit myself to whiskey and cola (Cutty Sark whiskey, by the way). There is only 4 glasses of such a cocktail. At the same time, I bought it in the pool. Although not the sea, of course, but also cool.

Day 13.21. 08.12, Tuesday

TRIP TO THE RESERVE OF GALATZO (LA RESERVA)

Almost from the very moment we arrived in Mallorca, we wanted to visit this asshole. What, ugly mangled the word? Read on and find out why. This park is located in the district of the city of Puigpunyent. In Russian interpretation on the Google map, for some reason it is called Puigpunyent, although the bulls themselves pronounce it Puigpunyent. In general, call it whatever you like. We decided not to go there in a rented car, because we considered that, since it was not very far from our rooming house, it would be cheaper by taxi. However, this turned out not to be the case, since we did not take into account one important factor. Have you already guessed which one, judging by the nature of the distorted word?

But there were many small waterfalls. By the way, in the advertisement of this reserve it was said that there are about 30 waterfalls and you can swim in them. But more on that later.

Representatives of the fauna are also found there, so this reserve can even be called a scanty zoo. We saw bears, mouflons, emus, eagle owls, owls, deer, donkeys (by the way, warning signs were attached to the cages with bears and even donkeys (! ): "CAUTION! DANGEROUS ANIMAL"), as well as birds of prey used for the show : hawk, kite and falcon. I'm not talking about all kinds of peacocks, pheasants, geese and swans, because they can be found in many places. Throughout the park there are arrows indicating the route. At the entrance to the park and in some other places there are sources of drinking water.

BAR IN THE RESERVE

The route ends with a place of rest, where there is a bar, a toilet, cages with deer and birds of prey, waterfalls intended for swimming, changing cabins (after all! ), entertainment places and there is also an exit from which, however, go to the entrance , where parking lots of cars and buses are located, it will take another 3 km.

The bar sells draft beer Estrella (2.5 for 0.33 l) and bottled Heineken (3 for 0.33). Canned Estrella is sold at the same price in vending machines. Mineral water in vending machines costs 1.5 for 0.5 l, and if carbonated, then 1.8 for the same volume. Barbecue is also available at the bar. For only 11. For this amount, they give a vacuum package with several pieces of meat and a couple of sausages, and then all this must be fried on a grill with kindled coals, located nearby ...by yourself. Type of adventure-entertainment. : D Well, so as not to be bored, they also pour a couple of glasses of sangria. Bottle.

SHOW BIRDS OF PREY

On 30 there, according to the schedule, a show of birds of prey should begin: a hawk, a falcon and a black kite (however, for some reason, it actually started only at 15.00). It consists mainly in the fact that the “trainer” of these birds whistles, waves something, throws pieces of meat into the air and the birds catch them on the fly in the manner that is characteristic of their species. At the same time, brief information about these same birds in Spanish, English and German is heard from the curmudgeon. Nothing like that, you can look at the birds. What’s more, you don’t have to pay extra for it. Immediately after this show, all the organized groups that had time to enjoy the adventure and entertainment left, but the rest, including us, decided to swim in the waterfalls.

BATHING IN WATERFALLS

As promised in the advertisement, there are indeed a lot of waterfalls in this reserve, only three of them are intended for swimming, located right next to each other. The park itself closes at 7 pm.

00, and the entrance to it stops 2 hours before closing. The waterfalls are open until 5:30 pm. And then they are simply ...turned off by turning the valve. And they begin to intensively treat with bleach.

HOW WE GOT OUT OF THIS FUCK

The bar closes at about 18.00, and after another 20 minutes, visitors begin to unobtrusively ask to leave. After all, even after the exit, you need to stomp several kilometers to get to the entrance, next to which the car is left. However, since we didn’t have one, we decided to ask the bartender where the nearest bus stop was located in the afternoon. He said that it was not close, and he would have to stomp about 5 km from the entrance to it. And he also asked in response, they say, what, some problems? Well, I explained to him that we arrived there by taxi. In response to this, he offered to meet at the entrance somewhere at 19.00, so that he would give us a lift to Puigpunyent, and then we would catch the bus to Palma.

He also asked the guide girl, who brought the Russian group by bus, if she could find a seat on the bus. She said no, but she was going to order a taxi for two tourists to Palmanova, in which there would be two places for us too, so it would be cheaper to get together. But for this we would have to leave already at 16.00. We wanted to hang out there more, so we settled on the bartender's suggestion. And indeed, at the appointed time, albeit with a slight delay, one of their employees drove up to the entrance in his car and gave us a lift to the city. There, after 30-40 minutes, we got on a minibus that approached and safely reached the Palma bus station in just 4 (for two). Well, we already knew the way forward.

By the way, in Puigpunyent we saw only one taxi, and that taxi driver, most likely, brought tourists like us there, and was looking for others who wanted to not go back empty.

And when, just in case, I asked the employee of the eatery located next to the bus stop if there was a taxi rank nearby, she told me no, but offered to call a taxi from Palma. However, we refused, because we did not want to pay extra money.

HOW IS IT BETTER TO ORGANIZE A VISIT TO THE RESERVE?

As you already understood, it is better not to take a taxi there. So there are only two alternatives.

1. Take a tour.

- no need to worry about transport;

- you will surely get to adventure-entertainment if you wish;

- you can drink beer without restrictions;

- there will be no problems with languages;

- such an excursion should be cheaper than an independent trip (40 for an adult and 30 for a child under 12 years old, if with adventure stuff, and 30 and 20, respectively, if without them; if you want to eat lunch there, you will have to pay another nickel for everyone.

- you need to get up early (the bus arrives at the reserve by its opening, i. e. by 10.00);

- you need to go in an organized group of compatriots (not everyone will like this);

- you will also have to leave early, i. e. at 16 o’clock;

- Departure to this reserve is carried out only on Tuesdays from the Camp de Mar area and only on Thursdays from the Arenal district.

2. Drive a rented car.

- no need to travel in an organized group of compatriots;

- it is not necessary to get up very early;

- you can leave at any time, if only before the closing of the park;

- if there is a coupon (and it is easy to get it), the driver is given a 50% discount;

- Easy to find a free parking spot.

- the road to the reserve itself is rather narrow-winding-serpentine-broken;

- the driver will have to limit himself to a small can of beer and a glass of sangria;

- you can fly with adventure-entertainment;

- you need to know more or less tolerably at least English.

Day 14.22. 08.12, Wednesday

Having handed over the key card, the key to the chest and the remote control from the air conditioner at the reception, I safely received back the thirty dollars left as a pledge. Then the transfer came up, and even before the appointed time, the carrier loaded our things into the trunk, the guide handed out questionnaires to everyone to evaluate the service provided by their company, and we went to the airport. Upon arrival, they left a completed questionnaire where the guide asked, put a certain amount in a specially prepared basket as a tip for the driver, received luggage from him and went to the check-in counters, the numbers of which the smart guide had already managed to find out. Further, the guide accompanied the entire group until the very registration, acting as an interpreter for those who did not speak languages.

At Moscow airports, after check-in, they usually first go through customs, then passport control, then pre-flight search.

Here, after registration, everything starts with a shmon, and passport control is already almost before boarding the plane. I don’t remember anything about customs control there at all. Maybe combined with shmon? And yet, is it really that important? More importantly, the dutik is located all the way from the checkpoint to passport control. Prices there, however, are not particularly cheap. As a result, we bought a liter of Curva VSOP regular (44.5), a liter of Curva of the exclusive type - also VSOP, and it was sold there with a discount and cost us 35.6, a liter of Kalua in a set with a shaker (18.7), a liter of Chivas Regal whiskey 12-year-old extracts (26.4), as well as three flasks of 0.2 l each for the aircraft: Gordon gin, J. Walker whiskey and Baileys. Each such flask cost 7, but 3 of these were given for 18.

Olive oil is also sold in dutik, but there it costs several times more than in ordinary Mallorca stores.

And not far from the exit from the Dutik, there is an announcement stating that products purchased in the Dutik are prohibited from selling.
