Mallorca super, hotel to taste
Mallorca is great. It is worth going to see and see the beauty of the island and the city of Palma itself.
I do not recommend to go with excursions. Expensive and useless. All entrances are still self-paid.
The first way is if you have a license, rent a car and hit the road. The roads in the mountains are difficult-serpentine.
The island is small. You can basically see everything in a day. If you do not rush and with races to the beaches, then a couple of days. Just plan ahead. Inet to help. You will see wonderful observation platforms on the Mediterranean Sea and wonderful views of the mountains. The panoramas are breathtaking.
The second way - from the center of Palma, regular buses go to almost all the sights. They stand back and forth - 6-8 euros for one. And take a walk there.
Cape Formentor and the beach
I went on an excursion only to Cape Formentor. There is no direct bus. And the trip without a car is worth it. A beautiful view of the cape, a boat trip and still brought to rest on the beach of the Formentor hotel. Paradise beach. Sand with shadow from pine trees and turquoise sea.
I recommend that anyone with a car go to Formentor Beach for a day. And who with the possibilities and he otlel Formentor.
I recommend that those who fly to Formentor beach (the guide does not say this, she walked from the pier to the end of the hotel herself) do not stop immediately near the pier on the rocks, but move on. If you stand with your back to the sea, then you need to go to the right of the hotel sunbeds, you can’t lie there - hotel rooms. And after them, well, just heavenly places begin. And there are also decent locker rooms.
Valdemos. I recommend
Beautiful little town. Worth walking the streets. There is a museum. Worth to visit. Cell where Chopin and Sarge stayed with a fabulous terrace. Among the streets there is also the church of St. Catalina with her relics. Bus number 210 from Palma.
Soller and the port of Soller. I recommend. I've been twice. Passed by car. And I rode an old train through the mountains. Travels from Palma to Soller back and forth through tunnels and bridges. And then a tram to the port of Soller. You can also take bus number 211 to Soller
Luke Monastery. You can visit. Interesting. You can also take the bus.
Polensa Resort (English). I recommend. We walked there and had dinner in a cafe on the beach. Gorgeous beaches. Luxurious villas with terraces right on the beach and rich furnishings. Silence and tranquility.
The resort feels like a wealthy place for the wealthy. And you even feel rich walking there.
I recommend staying at least one evening. And whoever has the opportunity to go there immediately on vacation.
Palm. I traveled on my own several times. Went through everything myself. Even climbed on foot to Bellver Castle. The climb is difficult, the steps are endless. Panorama awesome on Palma from the castle. A sightseeing bus goes around the city for 12 euros, there is a voice recorder, they say there is already a Russian one. Didn't go. The center with all the attractions is quite possible to get around on foot. And in a couple of days already and again and take a walk along all the narrow streets.
Shopping. Shops sea and very decent there. But there is also a lot of China already in the center of the city.
I am satisfied with my trip.
