We were returning from the city of Palma very late at about 10 pm and when we got to our room we decided to have tea. Water, kindly provided by the hotel, as always, was on the table near the kettle. Having emptied half of one of the bottles and poured the contents into the kettle, I noticed a very pungent smell from the kettle. The light was on in the room, but the liquid in the bottle was very light yellow in color and therefore not quite visible, since it was already evening and dark. The smell reminded me of vinegar essence, apparently it was it. My child, who is 6 years old, runs up to the table very often and can open one of these bottles and drink without suspecting anything.
We believe this is entirely the hotel's fault. The management hires young and inexperienced employees, and I’m even scared to imagine what could happen if one of us drank the contents of the bottle. And they also allow the staff who clean the rooms to use these plastic bottles, the same as for drinking water, for cleaning, pouring vinegar essence into them. The next day in the morning we brought and put on the reception desk to the hotel employee and he decided not to even open this bottle, apparently knowing what was there. For them, as it seemed to us, this situation is not new, and therefore no one even apologized. Take care of yourself and your loved ones! We advise you to check every bottle of water!
The reputation of the hotel does not care about the management of the hotel itself.
