The hotel complex is located in a picturesque part of the island of Mallorca, close to the beach and the center of the resort area. Good infrastructure, simple but comfortable rooms. It is part of a complex that includes Globales Playa Santa Ponsa 3* and Globales Santa Ponsa Park 4*. Opened in 1975, the last renovation took place in 2016. The hotel complex offers a buffet restaurant and a bar for relaxation. There are also sports facilities, a children's play park, a kids' club, daily entertainment and a swimming pool. With a family atmosphere, modern style and very close to Santa Ponsa beach and the main areas of the city with entertainment, shopping and services, it is a haven of prosperity. We recommend it for a relaxing family holiday, including those with children.More →

The hotel is 5 min. walk to the beach, the sea is clean, shallow, suitable for families with children, there were a lot of Russians in the hotel. There is an EROSKI supermarket nearby, like Auchan, everything is cheaper there than in other shops, sangria wine 4 euros, brandy 10 years old 10 euros, jamon was taken for 12 euros and delicious for 26 euros too. We went to Palma on the 102 bus, the ticket costs 3.2 euros, be careful with the drivers when calculating, they cheat, they punch 3-4 tickets, instead of 1-2, they return the change incorrectly, we were deceived. The Cathedral is impressively open from 10 o'clock, the entrance is 6 euros, you have to get off before reaching the final one at the cathedral. We took a full day excursion to the Formentor-Sineu market for 40 euros, the views are magnificent, the sea is azure, they give 2 hours for swimming on the Formentor beach, there are clothes and jamon and live animals on the market, the prices are called from the bulldozer, bargain, discount for 50.70% inferior. We enjoyed our stay at Pionero.

He, as always, is in his repertoire: the flight was supposed to be at 20-00, as a result, they moved it to 14-00 from the hotel, they took it at 10 in the morning, the day was stolen. The beginning was not bad, there were many Italians, Germans. The attitude of the receptionist was friendly. The food is canteen but of high quality, fruit is not varied but always enough, there is no crowd and no queue. Unlike Salou, champagne is not poured in the morning.... By the 25th, the Russians pulled themselves up and then it began, most of them arrived, apparently after talking with Turkish hotels, everyone has everything inclusive. The restaurant ceased to cope with its duties, there were practically no fruits, except for apples, maybe there were, but the queues scattered in a swoop. In general, who wants to feel Turkey in Spain to you in this hotel with Pegasus. The beach is really close. Be prepared that the park is a dozen pine trees growing on the sand. There are indeed parrots. The beach is sandy, when a strong wind from the sea forms a small snowstorm, but this is a disease of all sandy beaches. The sea is clean, but you have to sail away because children and those who can't swim are splashing aground. The nearby hotel from the same group of Santa Ponsa Park is better, we know this from friends who lived in it at the same time. If you take Pionero, then only not in the high season, and only with breakfast. You can also dine in cafes or buy in Eraskin supermarkets, it will turn out cheaper. By the way, the conder is free, and the auto fridge is for money, but in our room it was open, apparently the Spaniards were too lazy to close it. By the way, the servants do not take tips, but they don’t bother with cleaning either, they took away the garbage, made the beds, swept the balcony, that’s all the cleaning. All in all, a weak trio.

I liked everything very much, the hotel is good, clean, cleaned every day, towels were also changed if necessary. The hotel is in a good location, there are many shops, cafes, supermarkets around. We went to the sea through the park with parrots, you can feed them with seeds, or crumble a bun, they flock to feed. We went on our own (by bus) to Palma (center), went shopping there, to the Cathedral (very beautiful), there are also a lot of all sorts of streets around the Cathedral. (travel by bus costs 2-3 euros, the stop is also 5-7 minutes from the hotel). We had breakfast and dinner, fed SUPER: vegetables, meat, fish, poultry, mussels, fruits, cookies, ice cream, you can’t list everything, a lot of food and in sufficient quantity. Drinks for dinner were paid, because we didn’t have all-inclusive, but we didn’t bathe, water in stores from 1 euro (a large 5-liter bottle), and wines are inexpensive, natural, without sugar and preservatives (from 1-2 euros). The wines are excellent and very tasty. I recommend the hotel to everyone, everything seems to be nearby, but there is no fuss, everything is CLEAR AND NOBLE. In the evening there were animations in different hotels. Mostly foreigners have a rest: English, Italians, Spaniards, somewhere from June 11 a lot of Russians began to arrive, I would like to hear less Russian speech in such a place, but nothing, apparently the season has begun and many children have come (noise, uproar began), but by that time we were already leaving. We had a great rest, everything that we asked from the tour operator, everyone got. I have something to compare with, with no Egypt, Turkey, and even Thailand can not be compared. There, of course, it has its own charm, but THIS is really a European vacation, everything is chic, calm, high quality, without any nasty smells. There are hotels in Mallorca and in other places, somewhere in the mountains, the beaches are small there, there is no entertainment around, when we were collected at the airport, we saw all these hotels that are located in completely non-busy places, we would not want to be in such hotel, you will definitely be disappointed both in the rest and in the country. All in all, we are very happy that we visited this place.

We lived in the SANTA PONSA hotel (just)))) not a park, not a club, and so on. . . but we were surprisingly lucky, because our hotel JUST santa ponsa) turned out to be very nice. We lived in room 103 overlooking an artificial swamp with red fish)) and greenery. … More ▾ We lived in the SANTA PONSA hotel (just)))) not a park, not a club, and so on. . . but we were surprisingly lucky, because our hotel JUST santa ponsa) turned out to be very nice. To be honest, for the first time in Europe I get to 3 * where such a varied diet and such spacious rooms!! ! Was very surprised! We lived in room 103 overlooking an artificial swamp with red fish)) and greenery. Soundproofing is ok. The only downside is that if you open the balcony at night, then in the morning you will definitely be woken up by a bus with newly arrived tourists)), but this did not bother us, because the bachelorette party of the German girls who lived with us on the same floor brought much more inconvenience ))) The hotel is mostly Germans (far over 50), Italians (also) and Russians, guides say they are more than 90%)) There is no Russian-speaking staff in the hotel !!!! ! Mostly Spanish and Italian, English. A 5-minute walk from the hotel is a magnificent clean beach. . there aren't many people on the beach. Very beautiful sea, clean. . . but in June the water is still not very nice! ! There are many small cafes, bars and restaurants around. . I can’t say that the menu is varied ((we regretted that we didn’t take all-inclusive at the hotel !! ! With the ALL system, the food at the hotel is very tasty and varied + wine and a bar that works daily by the pool. You can take coffee at the bar at any time, wine, cocktails, a snack before lunch (sweets, ice cream, potatoes, hot dogs, sandwiches, etc. ) For dinner, they always serve 3 different dishes (fish, meat, chicken) !! ! Not far from the hotel there is a bus stop where we we got to Palma. . . about 10-15 minutes on the way. The fare is 1.9-2.5 euros. There are a lot of small shops within walking distance from the hotel. In general, souvenir shops and beach-type clothing! In the evening on weekdays there is a very cozy cafe SALSA BAR, but)))) if they dance salsa there, then only in pairs of grandparents))))) For young people, the best option is Magaluf, there is Pacha, all sorts of parties etc. there at night everyone drinks and has fun)))) in santa ponsa, mostly children and elderly grandparents! ! ! Magaluf can also be reached by bus. . . about 10 minutes, but if you go at night, then return only by taxi)) because the buses stop running at 12 pm and start at 6-7 am. But again, in Magaluf, the beach sucks))))) you can’t compare with Santa!! ! There are of course a couple of nuances in the hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! NO HAIR DRYER! The evening program is Bingo and children's dance)) the same every evening) Internet is paid (2 euros 30 min) Air conditioning is also paid, as far as I heard from the guide, but we did not pay for it because the room is until 17-00 in the shade, and didn't get too hot!! ! The refrigerator is paid (18 euros per week, the payment is made only for 7 days, regardless of the number of your days of rest))) if there are 8 of them, then either again 18 euros, or 1 day without a refrigerator) Safe according to the same system (18 = 7 days) Not far from the hotel there is a large EROSKI supermarket where prices for wine and food are much lower than in small shops closer to the sea. . . the difference is very significant up to 5 euros for sausage and wine!! ! In general, Santa Ponsa is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday with children! Have a good holiday everyone!! !

I won’t compare it with Tai, it has its own charm. But Turkey and Egypt, at least where we were, do not stand next to Mallorca in all positions. The hotel is excellent, good area, beautiful well-groomed town of Santa Ponsa. The food (we took breakfasts and dinners) is incomparable, I assure you, especially dinners. A wide variety of dishes: fish in any form, meat, fruits, pastries, ice cream. Everything is very tasty. The town is quiet and calm. Everyone smiles. In shops and cafes, no one grabs hands and offers to buy something. Everything is extremely correct. The sea in Santa Ponsa was very disappointing. When we rested, it rained and it turned dark brown. Swimming was no fun, despite the notorious blue flag. In general, out of 11 days of our stay, it rained for 5 days. But it didn't bother us at all. There are many car rental companies in the city. Quite cheap, especially if you cooperate with another pair. We did just that. Traveling in Mallorca is pure pleasure. We traveled almost the entire island in 4 days. . There are such gorgeous beaches - you will rock (Porto Cristo area, Alcudia). A la Phuket. So they swam to their heart's content. For excursions, my advice is to take a car and see everything for yourself. Cheap and angry. Be sure to visit Valldemossa, go to Palma, Cape Formentor. But we did not like the caves - the price is high, and the spectacle is "sucked from the finger. " All in all, the time flew by. I strongly advise everyone. True, those who have previously rested in Turkey or Egypt run the risk of being disappointed in them.

It was believed that the Spanish treshka should meet European standards, and the reviews were quite decent. However, the hotel was disappointing. The main part of the building is located along the city street on one side, along another hotel (window-to-window) on the other. Moreover, between these two hotels there is a utility block with an extractor hood from the kitchen, which, of course, is terribly noisy and “scented”. The air conditioner works poorly. The room is small, with a balcony (but with such views it makes no sense), with old furniture, cheap plumbing, a refrigerator (they themselves call it coolbox and this is true, because it does not freeze at all) for a fee of 18 euros. The safe is also for separate money (20 euros) and with a key (! ), with which, presumably, you need to go to the beach and guard. The room leaves a feeling of staleness and wretchedness. And from 8 in the morning outside the doors of the room you hear the loud colorful Spanish conversations of the attendants. Two very small pools are located between the Pionero and Park hotels, they smell of bleach and are densely “lined” with bodies. The only plus of this hotel - feeding. Everything about breakfast was very good. Along a not very clean street (50 meters), and then along a pine grove (about the same) with noisy green parrots, you get to the municipal beach of Santa Ponsa. The beach is sandy, cleaned so-so, but the bay is very picturesque, the entrance to the sea is excellent, the sea is calm with fish and ducks. For some reason, people do not appear until 9.00 and after 19.00 there is almost no one either. We just swam before breakfast for 1.5-2 hours and in the evening, as we arrived.
Highly recommend the seafood restaurant right opposite the hotel entrance. Modest in appearance, with a not very good (away from the sea) location, but wonderful cuisine and attentive service.
In general, in my opinion, if you do not take a car, then just like a beach holiday is not a comfortable option. In 7 days we drove over 1000 km without straining: excellent roads, gorgeous views, dizzying mountain roads, wonderful beaches.

The azure expanse of the morning sea: white yachts and boats in the distance. And a horizon stretching to infinity. Calm and gentle, the sea envelops with its coolness. So you want to swim and swim forward, staying in this wonderful moment of peace and absolute happiness! But the shore is calling back. Santa Ponsa is just waking up - a long and hectic day ahead, with a beach filled with vacationers, shops and bars - these are integral attributes of the resort area. … More ▾ The azure expanse of the morning sea: white yachts and boats in the distance. But the shore is calling back. Santa Ponsa is just waking up - a long and hectic day ahead, with a beach filled with vacationers, shops and bars - these are integral attributes of the resort area. I return from heaven to earth, through a pine grove with noisy bright green parrots (oh, exotic) to our hotel Pionero Santa Ponsa, which I will tell you honestly and frankly, without embellishment.
Those who are not the first time resting in Spain are not surprised by the dirty streets of coastal areas. Mallorca is no exception. In the morning, deserted sidewalks flooded with dried beer are especially striking, a little garbage here and there, and the smell of unwashed pavement hits the nose - in general, we are moving towards the Pionero hotel, which is located in the depths, 300 meters from the beginning of the beach.
I must say right away that half of all vacationers here were unlucky with rooms. We were horrified when we received the keys and entered the room with a ridiculously huge fan on the ceiling, replacing the air conditioner. When we opened the balcony door, we froze for a second in surprise: the air was filled with a rather loud monotonous sound of the fan (apparently, this is the hood of the entire hotel). Opposite - the windows of another hotel, the guests of which also "enjoyed" this rumble, below - the roof of the restaurant. Then we found out that another third of the rooms face the hotel's courtyard, which is filled with garbage boxes that give off a certain smell, trucks pulling up to unload food and everything.
The rest of the lucky ones (less than half of them) got rooms with access to a rather quiet street, where at least trees were planted and flower beds were laid out. Friends, ask for these numbers if you already happened to get into Pionero! We only managed to change the room to another, similar, but located a little to the left of the main noisy fan, it was a little quieter, and there was no smell of exhaust air, but the hum was all the time, not for all two weeks, day and night. This sound does not interfere with sleep, but sitting under it on the balcony with a glass of sangria, alas, is not fun.
The hotel has practically no territory, sunbeds by the pool early in the morning are occupied by foreigners. Otherwise, everything is not bad, a solid three-ruble note. The food is decent, there are show programs, children's animation in the evenings. After 11 pm everything falls asleep, life calms down until the morning. The corridors are also quite quiet, we never heard drunken screams or noisy companies at night, only conversations of neighbors passing by the room. The main contingent of vacationers here are families with children, middle-aged people, few young people.
The sea in Santa Ponsa is warmer than anywhere else, it's true: the town is located in the bay, and the water warms up here. At the end of June, the water was 25 degrees, the air was up to 35, it was very hot during the day. The sand is clean, they clean it, we must pay tribute, not bad. Mallorca is magical if you drive around it in a rented car - the roads are gorgeous, there is something to see. Happy holidays everyone!! !

We are going to the hotel 2 adults with 2 children. In the search engine it knocks out the family number. There are none on the hotel website. Can you tell me what size the family numbers are? What kind of beds are there?
