There are three PalmaNova hotels in PalmaNova, which are distinguished by letter additions in the name, two 3-star hotels and one 4-star hotel. Of the three stars, one is further from the sea, but a large multi-storey complex (this is our Hi), the other is closer to the sea, it seems, a three-story, single-building. By the way, it turned out that before the trip we read reviews about a small hotel, because people indicated the name of the hotel in the general form of PalmaNova.
A large complex has its benefits, such as a powerful restaurant. Agree, not every three-ruble note gives champagne for breakfast (for free, as much as you want!
) and lightly salted red fish, not to mention figs, prunes and peaches. For dinner, meat, fish, shrimp, you name it all, including plum-sized grapes (I'm not exaggerating).
Go to the sea along the streets for about 5 minutes, but the sea itself in the PalmaNova area does not shine with cleanliness. Many write about this in reviews, and this is true, although at times it is transparent, you need to catch the moments. You can bring your own umbrellas, as many do. Another option is to go a little further to the beach on the right (if you are facing the sea). There are palm trees on the beach, under which you can wonderfully take a nap in the shade at noon.
In the evenings on the beach on weekends, new films (cartoons) are shown free of charge on a large projection screen. There is Wi-Fi on the beach. In the evening, on the beach, you can lie down on sun loungers (uncle no longer drives) and look at the bewitching picture when planes in the starry sky every 2-3 minutes land in Palma de Mallorca.
Tours.
Were in the Dragon Caves + pearl factory and a trip around the island by bus, boat, old tram and 100-year-old train. On the last excursion upon arrival at the port, you can quickly walk through the tunnel to Paradise Beach, but do not swim (or take a quick dip if you manage to squeeze through the bodies of people to the water, as in Sochi at the peak of the season), but return back to the port and swim freely in crystal clear water of a small bay right next to the pier.
Trips on local buses. We ourselves went to the capital, to the house of Kathmandu, to Santa Ponsa (the sea is a little cleaner, but there is a palm grove with parrot nests, exotic! But many hotels there are on a hill, far from the sea, not like in Palmanova).
There were unpleasant impressions about local drivers. Precautions - get on the bus one at a time (if there are two of you) and pay each for yourself. Then he will knock out a ticket for everyone.
Otherwise, either it will knock out one ticket for two (the second ticket will heal without explanation), or it will knock out three tickets instead of two (like I misunderstood the phrase two tickets). A trifle, but unpleasant.
