I stayed at the Almudaina Hotel from March 25 to March 28.2016. I chose the hotel according to the principle: the very center of the city, an acceptable breakfast, good reviews. In fact, everything turned out much better than even expected. Firstly, this is 4 *, not 3 *, as indicated on the site. The hotel is located on the main shopping street of Palma Avenida de Jaime III. The street is very busy and well lit, with many shops, cafes and restaurants. In addition, the hotel is very convenient to get from the airport. By bus number 1 from the airport you need to go to the stop "Passeig de Mallorca, 18" (about 25 minutes) and from it to the hotel at a leisurely pace of 5 minutes. Landmark - El Corte Ingl? s. The hotel is right next to the shopping center. The fare is 3 €.
I booked a single. The room is small, but everything you need is there and in perfect working order. Doubles are large, I saw in the photo. But it’s quite enough for me alone, especially since I only spent the night there. In the bathroom, shower liquid, also known as shampoo, is in a large dispenser bottle.
There is a whale on the washbasin: bar soap, shower cap, shaving machine, toothbrush and mini toothpaste. In the wardrobe there is a sponge for shoes and a sewing kit. The minibar is full, next to a piece of paper with prices. Not expensive. Water 0.5 l - 2€. In a kiosk, next to the hotel for 1€. If you want - drink from the bar, if you want - buy on the street! There is a kettle and set: tea, coffee, sugar. There are no cookies. There is a safe in the closet. TV flat, no Russian channels found. Turned on MTV when I got ready. Music is more fun.
The breakfast is good. The choice is large and the quality of the products is excellent. I am attaching a photo report. Jamon, by the way, is not the cheapest. And I'm good at it. Whole grain croissants are beyond praise! But the famous Sobrasada sausage did not make any impression on me personally. It’s good that you could try it at the hotel, otherwise I wanted to buy home. Coffee from machines, Nespresso capsules in assortment. In general, well done! Breakfast is a solid five!
It is felt that they do not save on products. If something ends, they bring it right away.
The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. I liked the way people work! Cleaned up well too. The only thing that upset me was that the set of soap and ryel accessories was no longer replenished. Of all of the above, I needed only toothpaste. The one in the whale was enough to brush her teeth in the evening and in the morning. At first I wanted to ask at the reception, but I ran so much on excursions that it was not up to it! In addition, I am an experienced tourist, I had my own pasta, I can’t take it back! Well, on the day of departure, when calculating, for some reason they took me 12 € less than the declared amount. Well, I thought that somehow I would survive not replenishing the toothpaste!
But the most, in my opinion, awesome in the hotel: it's a terrace on the 8th floor, in the Sky-bar. It offered a gorgeous panoramic view of Palma and the sea.
And in the evening it was nice to sit there with a cocktail or a cup of coffee! The bar is open from 12 to midnight. When choosing a hotel, I reviewed many options. But when I saw the photos of the terrace, my choice of hotel was a foregone conclusion.
If you are planning to stay in Palma for a city tour, I strongly recommend this hotel. For a beach holiday, it is still better to choose hotels on the sea. I went on a sightseeing tour, I really liked the hotel.
