great foursome, happy for themselves, made the right choice
written much above, I will add my observations:
1. Upon arrival, if possible, ask for a room with access to the side opposite the courtyard. Reason: well, very powerful animation : ) starts from 21-00 (children's program), then for adults until 00-00 (sometimes later). The sound is the most powerful, the sausage is not childish, there is no sound insulation (as elsewhere in Europe). If you still got a room with a view of the central pool, the recipe is not to sleep until 00-00 (to sit and watch the performance), it’s hard for the first couple of days due to the time difference, then you get used to it and it’s normal.
2. There are a lot of Englishmen in the hotel (according to my observations, it’s 60 percent offhand)

The audience is still the same as the Russian tourists there, the British tourist is something. Clogging in the morning sunbeds by the pool (for what the hell is not clear, half a day is empty), whiskey-cola in unmeasured quantities, general impudence / rudeness. The hotel has nothing to do with it, a feature of the holiday in Salou, for which you need to be prepared.
3. Restaurant. Each dinner is furnished as a kind of ritual - you must definitely wait at the entrance for a colorful uncle / maitre d' who will bring you to the table. If you go by yourself, he gets offended : ) Probably better not to offend the uncle, he is good : ) The food, as it was written above, is excellent, even with all the desire it is impossible to find fault. Every Friday is seafood day: king prawns, mussels, crabs. On weekends - national cuisine, Chinese, Italian, etc.
4. Housekeeping. In general, it's normal for Europe : ) Tipping is useless, it does not affect the quality in any way. Tinder is hard, only you bring sand from the sea, this sand is not always removed during cleaning (cleaners would have thought of buying a vacuum cleaner : ) Feature - a huge amount of detergents used, what they do, who knows - but the number of 30 minutes comes after ventilate cleaning, otherwise it’s hard to breathe.
In general, Salou:
The town is small, it is difficult to get lost (from end to end for 40-50 minutes). Supermarkets / shops below along the sea line in a larger mass. The beaches are public, it is not necessary to take sunbeds at all, you can take quite decent mats for a penny in the store and stay very close to the sea (most do). Umbrella or bring it yourself (freely checked in luggage) or buy on the spot. An umbrella is desirable - burn for nothing to do (from 14 to 17 hours) - the sun is very strong.
