Greetings to all! June 23 returned from sunny Spain. It was very sad to leave. We rested on the Costa del Moresme in Santa Susanna, Montemar Maritim Hotel, 4 stars. Immediately upon arrival at Barcelona airport, we already liked everything, we immediately found an operator, we were escorted to the bus, it took 1.5 hours to get to our hotel from the airport (but this is with stops), because other tourists were taken to hotels along the way. The first impression of the hotel is simply excellent! I don't know any at all. language, only English that I learned at school, of course, a few phrases in Spanish and a greeting I learned-). We were very pleasantly greeted at the reception and began to draw up documents, I quickly got my bearings and asked, if possible, for a room with a sea view. It was really hard to explain. When they realized that we were Russians, we were even more pleased, and they called a Russian-speaking employee who works as the head of the hotel restaurant. His name is Louise (Luigi), just a very wonderful person. As a result, we were given a room with a view of the sea and the mountains. . The room may not be huge, but neat, bright, comfortable beds, there was also a bathroom, new furniture, a hairdryer, bidet, TV, refrigerator, safe (extra charge). The room had Wi-Fi. Good cleaning in the room daily, change of towels every other day. I forgot to write, we had room 417 on the 4th floor, I recommend it. Having settled in the room, we immediately went to explore the area and to the beach. Here we were even more superior, gorgeous sea, entry into the sea, I just fell in love with the Mediterranean Sea-), there are no floating "reptiles". Friends scared us and everyone said that in June the sea is cold. Maybe it was not so warm, of course +18 degrees, but it was possible to swim, especially after our cold Moscow. In general, there were almost no people on the beach, it was cold for Europeans, they were all at the pool. As a result, all 2 weeks the sea was just magical, the beach is just wonderful, small pebbles, like cereals. Sun loungers and umbrellas (paid). Meals at the hotel: we had half board, everything was very tasty, at first we just overeat, the quality of the food is the best. A lot of seafood (every other day) for breakfast they offer champagne (no extra. fees) an abundance of fruit for both breakfast and dinner. My favorite strawberries and cherries, the most delicious pineapples (although I don’t eat them at home at all, because they are sour), delicious melons, flat peaches, abolden plums, kiwi, bananas, apples. For dinner, men should come only in long trousers and a shirt or T-shirt. In the evening there were very tasty desserts, ice cream, pastries, always several types of freshly prepared fish. The breakfasts always had very tasty yogurt, fruits, dried fruits, I really liked the freshly prepared omelet, pancakes and much more. . . Very tasty coffee. Take note: drinks for dinner are all paid, this is the case throughout Europe. But it didn’t bother us at all, we had enough fruit. Further, after a little rest after the road, in the evening we found the Carrefour Supermarket store, that's where all the tourists go (especially Russians), it is located not far from the hotel. Everything is there, we immediately bought 2 bottles of olive oil, good beer (1 liter - 1 euro), sangrin wine (2 bottles of 0.75 - 2 euros) at once, which we did not regret later. I chose hotels in Spain for a very long time, and I didn’t regret a single gram that I stopped at Montemar Maritim, 4 stars. The main thing was the sea, the beach, transport links, a relaxing holiday. I really liked to go to Barcelona, super train with air conditioning, noiseless, very comfortable. From Santa Susanna station to Barcelona Plaza Catalunya, it takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, the cost of one trip is 4.5 euros per person. We took a ticket for 10 trips at the box office of Santa Susanna for 39 euros, called Bona Tre. Unfortunately, we didn’t go to bass tourism, because we took 3 excursions, that was enough for us + we also went to Barca ourselves. We walked around the center ourselves. Central port, Barceloneta, Ramblas, triumphal arch, road to Mount Manjuic. We went on excursions: Montserrat (very beautiful) monastery, Barcelona is special for the whole day: Park Gü ell - the work of architect Antonio Gaudi, Mount Tibidabo, the port of Barcelona (Columbus monument), saw the Sagrada Familia temple under construction (Temple of All Saints), the tour ended with singing fountains to the song of Montserrat Caballero in Plaza de Españ a, the third excursion was to Andorra. Also very beautiful and unusual, this is another small dwarf state, independent. What's good is that they don't have tax duties, they mostly go there for shopping. As for excursions, everything is fine, but the tour operator spoiled the rest a little, she is also a hotel operator or an agent from Bablio Globus. Some kind of a little frivolous, optional girl, changed the time of excursions all the time, it was very inconvenient, because we had already planned our free time. For the future, we still realized that we need to rent a car, we will see more of everything and it is more convenient for ourselves. By the way, in our hotel it was possible to rent a car, 1 day - 65 euros with insurance. In general, summing up, will we come back here again? Necessarily!! ! I just fell in love with Spain. In the autumn we are going to Greece, now I don’t know how not to be disappointed. -) If I forgot something, I'll add it later.
