I am writing in hot pursuit - just returned from this hotel this morning. So, from the very beginning. We booked a hotel six months in advance. This did not bring us any advantages when settling in (we wanted a sea view, but lived with a view of the railway). Some time before departure, the travel agency reported that the flight from our city was canceled and we urgently need to decide on the place of departure: Ufa, Samara or Moscow. We chose Ufa as the closest city. It is 350 km away, it is difficult, long and dreary to get there. . . Well, it took 5 hours to get to Ufa by car and 5.5 hours of flight ahead. By the way, I’ll make a digression: Ufa people, don’t be offended, but I considered you cultured residents of the capital. However, our fellow travelers successfully debunked this myth of mine. . . (((Unfortunately... So, we arrived in Barcelona at night, we were already at the hotel at 4 am. Check-in is not earlier than 13:00, keep this in mind. From 4 am to 1 pm we were sitting / wandering / dozing. Not accepted check-in before the appointed hour. Everyone who arrived early was waiting, not only us. When checking in, she asked for a room with a sea view - they gave it with a view of the railway. Pillows in coastal countries are peculiar - long and thin. Unusual and uncomfortable. Asked for more - brought without problems. Safe + deposit. The TV remote control is also issued against a deposit. No kettle, no minibar at all. The tiles on the floor are icy - I caught a bad cold. Room of normal size, two beds, one nightstand, wardrobe, dressing table. On the balcony there is a table and 2 chairs. The bathroom has everything you need. Cleaning daily. The walls in the room are made of plasterboard: you will hear your neighbors better than yourself. The beach is nearby. We chose the hotel precisely from these considerations - so as not to go far to the sea. You can dine, drink coffee right there, at the pool bar. Restaurant: We had breakfast/dinner. Everything is fine. The only thing is that drinks at dinner are only paid, even plain water. Excursions: I liked everything, especially the France / San Remo / Nice / Monaco trip. Moving tiresome - 9 hours in the bus. The bus is comfortable, the guide is good (the sea gave interesting information), stops every 2-3 hours for a short time. Overnight stay in Nice. By the way, as they say, feel the difference : ) In Nice, they also lived in three rubles, but the TV was - plasma on the wall, the bed was soft and very comfortable: pillows, mattress, blankets of the highest quality. Kettle, disposable tableware and all necessary personal belongings for tea/coffee drinking are available. You can immediately see which country is in crisis and which is not) The Spaniards save on absolutely everything. The sea, alas, is cool, it was not possible to swim, but many swam. But the sun gilds the skin even through the haze. The hotel has about a third of Russian speakers, the rest are Germans. The lady at the reception gives them a clear preference, she herself is German. I liked Spain. Despite the large number of excursions - a lot is left overboard. Would like to go back there again.
