Left, right, opposite - disco cafes, super markets, various cafes everywhere, it is impossible to pass by. Bus station nearby. All excursions are from this hotel. Lots of greenery.
Proximity to the sea.
To the sea 5 minutes. The coast is small pebbles. Sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee. But rarely anyone takes them, everyone lies on rugs (you can buy them for 2 euros) or towels. Entrance to the sea: after 3-4 metro
already deep. Not for children. The sea is restless, wave after wave, but very pleasant, clean.
About the hotel.
The rooms are clean and spacious. The windows overlook both the street and the pool. It will be quieter if in the yard, on the pool. The hotels are very close to each other, so the balconies are opposite to each other, although this does not bother people. On the contrary, you can even communicate and greet a neighbor from another hotel with a pen. The territory is small, there is also a small pool, but we didn’t even go there - the sea is nearby. There is TV, air conditioning. There is no refrigerator, but it is not needed.
The staff is polite and friendly.
Nutrition.
We took FR (full board), but realized that in vain. More were on the road than on the spot. Therefore, it is better to think about what you need: the sea or learn more about this country? We chose the second, so we didn't have dinner at all almost. For breakfast there were always cheese, sausage, toast, eggs in different forms, milk, coffee, juice, pastries, different sauces. For lunch - meat, fish, various sausages, vegetables, fruits, seafood is always there, potatoes, pasta. Dinner: pork fried in large chunks, fried fish, steamed vegetables, various roasts. Soup. Fruits: the largest grapes, watermelon, cherries, apples, peaches, bananas. Ice cream is very tasty, but it no longer fits in the stomach. At the entrance-exit there is such a “old woman Shapoklyak”, as we called her, seemingly friendly and polite, but harmful....an apple will not let you take it with you. Everything looks out, checks, pokes a finger at the stand, where it is written: do not take anything out. But when it is a day off, life is different there. They ate a lot. Delicious and satisfying.
Water, drinks at lunchtime and in the evening are not given, only for money. You can take wine at the bar and drink it for a week, nothing is wasted, everything is under their control. It is also not customary to bring water with you. Not very convenient for us, but this is Europe.
If you take only breakfast, then there is where to eat: there are a lot of cafes. 10 euros - a serving for two. Portions are huge. Maybe one for two.
Cafe on the cafe along the street. It's not just impossible to be cold there.
What to see in Spain?
If you want to see at least a little bit of Spain, take a ticket for 10-12 days. We had 7 and we were very sorry that there were so few. The country is interesting, did not even imagine. Lloret de Mar itself is a very picturesque town. You can walk for days. Has its own water park. Swing-carousel in front of the hotel. This is a holiday city, a continuous carnival city. We are not accustomed to all this at all. The streets are constantly walking young people in such bizarre costumes that you can't imagine. But on the back are wings with flashing lights; then multi-colored feathers on the legs, head and just girls in shorts and a bra, practically without clothes; then shorts with pistols on the sides and a cowboy hat; sometimes in animal costumes... and you see this every day in the city. The embankment itself is already a solid carnival. There are concerts, performances, and huge bazaars. It's not boring even just in this town (for those who are not going to watch anything else).
We knew that Spain is an interesting country, but we did not even imagine that it was so.
What is a must see?
1. Barcelona. City-fairy tale, city-miracle. The most beautiful. We took an excursion, which included the main thing: Park Gü ell, Familia, fountains, panoramic, aquarium. You need 1-3 days there, in a day you will only fall in love with this city and you will almost “not touch” it with your eyes. Every house there is a historical monument.
2. PortAventura. It's something for both kids and adults. There are attractions that you will never forget. What is the Shambhala hill 9-storey high and 2-3 km long. It’s very scary there, but everyone goes skating. Or skiing from the mountain straight into the water: sat down dry, got out completely wet. There are many interesting things there. But nature is something.
3. Mount Montserrat. Were not, but those who were, they say that it is insanely beautiful there.
4. Selvador Dali Museum.
5. Southern France. Carcassonne. Perpignan. Nature. Locks. French life. Food: oysters, white wine; Monaco beer.
6. Paris. Expensive but possible. Drive 1000 km with your car or bus, there is also a high-speed train (4 hours and there). They wanted to, they didn't.
7. You can go to Rome by plane. 230 euros.
8. Andora. There is a thermal complex here. Glasses, branded watches can be bought inexpensively.
And this is just a little. There are also Girona, Madrid, Valencia. I wanted to go everywhere, but if the trip was 7 days, Barcelona and Aventura Park would be enough.
What to buy there and try?
Homon (cured meat). Sangria (their wine), delicious. Sheep cheese. Turon (sweet). There is paella (this is rice with seafood). Well, pizza. She's so big and yummy. It costs a large piece of 2.50 euros. You can eat this piece.
From things. We took the shopping tour. We were taken to La Roca Village (this is a huge village where there are large stores with branded clothing, shoes, jewelry) and discounts, and the Motaro Park shopping center. The prices, I will say, are different. Motaro Park seemed cheaper and more interesting, well, it's like anyone. Lots of sportswear. I was looking for stylish trendy business clothes, I bought them in Motaro Park. For 300-500 euros you can get dressed and put on shoes.
Climate. Weather.
We were in the second half of June. Very changeable weather there. +25-27 Sometimes it's hot, sometimes it's cold. A windbreaker is a must. Be sure to take it with you on excursions. It is cool in the evening, but the youth are all half-dressed.
Cultural rest.
But this is the place where there are so many discos that the eyes run wide. From 22 nights, the fun night life begins and until the morning, and so every day. Opposite the hotel is a chic disco. To the left of the hotel. There is a disco for Russians. So if you are young, energetic, this hotel is for you.
What hotels are nearby in the area?
Hotel Garbi Park, Acapulco, Hotel Ma del Mar, Hotel Don Giovanni, Aquarium.
All are normal. And inexpensive. You can safely in any.
We took vouchers in June for 5500 UAH. With full board. Have a nice holiday everyone.

Confused by the lack of rugs in the room (we needed them, because it was just cold). Turned the air conditioner on and warmed up. And then the weather improved. It is true that Russians are not respected and they do not know the Russian language. But if you kindly ask in Russian-English-Spanish, they will definitely understand. Time flies by very quickly. We didn't have a week. I really hope and believe that we will come back to the Costa Brava and it is possible that the Xaine Park Hotel.

Hey! Rested with a friend in August 2008. The rooms were fully arranged, as we are unpretentious! Bath, shower, TV without extra. fees. Safe in the room for extra. fee. No one speaks Russian, and given that we do not speak Spanish, Catalan or English, it was difficult to transfer dinners to lunch, etc. The attitude towards us was excellent, the food was excellent.

The staff is friendly and polite. If you yourself do not like to "bend your fingers", then everything will be great! Every evening, some kind of event was held in the hotel lobby - they will not let you get bored and at the same time everything is very unobtrusive! Coarse sand beach 5 minutes walk. About excursions. Be sure to visit the singing fountains in Barcelona and admire this magnificent city. I just fell in love with him. I do not recommend staying at this hotel to those who are looking for a quiet night! It is on the street that 50 discos show their worst sides, boys and girls from all over Europe. For example, behind our wall there lived a couple of teenagers who politely said "bonjour" in the morning, and at night they screamed like beggars, got drunk to the point of stupefaction. Take a room with windows to the courtyard - it's quieter there, although from the windows of the hotel opposite you will definitely show your ass to some German or Frenchman. Entrance to discos for girls is free - I advise you to go around everything, but there are a lot of them! Stay satisfied. In general, a hotel for restless youth. Lovers of peace should look elsewhere. If I go to Spain I will stay in another hotel again, but in order to fully experience the difference, you can try XAINE PARK! Good luck!

and now about our impressions!!!
The hotel is located in Lloret de Mar. As we were told, this is perhaps the most party city on the Costa Brava. From the hotel to the sea, 3 minutes to the sea, if not in a hurry. The hotel is located on the most central street of the city, 3 minutes to the sea, if not in a hurry. Lived in a room with a view of the whole ebullient life! The first two nights were dying of irritation and the desire to somehow fall asleep... it turned out with difficulty, because. from about 20-00 to 05-00 in the morning the most "party" begins: an endless string of tourists marching along the street, screams, yelling, the movement of cars and the growl of motorcycles, not forgotten, and by the end of the stay, already a native automatic power meter! on which they beat, that there are dope all night long warmed up guys! It's unforgettable! Now I definitely miss it! But, looking at the silence other tourists from our group live in, you understand that this is BOREDOM! By the end of the first week, we already fell in love with everything that annoyed us to the itch in the first two days!
Meals: if you don’t put too much weight on yourself, I can say that the food (breakfast, dinner) is more than decent! Breakfast: ham, sausage type 2-3, cheese, muesli, scrambled eggs, meat patties, a whole table of croissant buns and other muffins, tea, coffee, juices, jams, a wide variety of fruits!! ! Yes, it is simply impossible to try all this in one breakfast! BUT! Tea-coffee is poured by a vending machine, of which there are only two, ... and there are a lot more people, so that those who want to drink the liquid stand in long lines... which, of course, is annoying...
Dinner: 3 types of fish, meat, sausages, cutlets, a separate table of salads, 3-4 types of desserts, ice cream, 3-4 types of side dishes, again fruits: melon, watermelon, cherries, peaches, plums, apples, pear, pineapple. . . ! Is this not enough?
Service: the room has air conditioning and a TV set, in order to get a remote control at the reception you need to leave a deposit of 10 euros... we managed without both absolutely great! it wasn't before. . .
The room was cleaned daily, but the towels were changed every 2-3 days. I was unpleasantly surprised that soap is not put daily! out of habit, I don’t even take it with me, but here it is! But, if you catch the service staff in the morning and explain WHAT you need, then the request will be fulfilled... however, it’s still ONCE! those. ask every morning. . .
I will pay special attention to the meeting party. This is Meli Tours... This is a separate verse, and the saddest of the whole song... we had the honor to see our Lena (mobile phone 650-748-281) only once in 14 days, and she regularly left information for tourists about the date and time of the meeting , and did NOT appear with the same regularity! We went on excursions with Tez Tour: good Russian-speaking girls.
In general, the hotel: I can safely recommend it for your vacation!! ! We were satisfied!
So, small notes of staying in Lloret de Maar, a place of ABSOLUTELY happy people! …
There is practically NO animation in the hotel, except for live music in the restaurant on the 1st floor (the hotel residents eat in the restaurant on the 2nd floor)... old foreigners are sitting at the tables, dancing... every evening there seems to be a different theme of music... we all this case was observed only from the outside, how foreign pensioners dance (and with sorrow they remembered our Russian pensioners, humiliated and insulted by their homeland! ). But, believe me, this is NOTHING compared to what happens outside the hotel!! ! Don't bother with some hotel animation!! ! This is not Turkey, not Tunisia, not Egypt!!! ! Where tourists live on a reservation, away from a major city… This is SPAIN!! ! And this is Lloret de Mar!!! ! Run from the hotel, come only to sleep! For example, on the border of Lloret and the city of Blanes, everything is much quieter and calmer! Although it is 15-20 min. walk from the center! But this silence, I think, is for pensioners, although foreign pensioners light SO !! ! God bless every young person! we are far from young girls, and then we were torn in doubts about what to devote every hour to! After all, 14 days is so little! You will have the most interesting excursions for the whole day, the beach, the sun and the magical clear sea, independent walks - I strongly recommend this!
Excursions: from 30s, the most expensive (somewhere around 60-80s) was to some border French town (not Andorra), my friend went, I didn’t go... I would have driven to Andorra, but this town didn’t tell me about what I didn’t say... Be sure to go to the panoramic view of Barcelona, the S. Dali Museum, Galla Castle, you can go on foot to the Cactus Park (from the center of Lloret, at a walking pace of 25-30 minutes, this is on the border with Blanes)... I really like cacti... but what I saw there! It’s fabulous, of course… the entrance ticket is 4th… there’s no point in taking an excursion to this park… a friend went on an evening excursion to Barcelona to see the Singing Fountains, which is also apparently beautiful…
Aaaaa, we also went to the town of Tossa on the last day... a boat runs from the beach (round-trip ticket 11 e, 30 minutes on the way, the panorama is INSANELY beautiful !!!! ), the schedule is there on the beach, at the points for selling ex th... you just need to have at least 3 hours left to wander around Tossa on your own, you can return with the last steamboat... Tossa, in its calmness and measured life, is like a small village compared to a metropolis... having lived in the center of Lloret for 14 days, and having got to Tossa, I realized that I would have howled with longing there... this is a place for recreation for pensioners and couples with small children... boredom!... but also a beautiful town in its own way, no doubt!
Lloret itself is the place where you need to wander endlessly on foot!! ! Along the coastline, go-go and go. . . if to the left, you will climb a mountain-cliff: a gorgeous panorama opens up! There is also a beautiful Castle, but you will not be able to get close to it, because. it is fenced off... but you can see from afar and admire... if to the right of Lloret beach, go up to the Sailors stele... you can stomp further... through summer cafes and mountainous, hilly, beautiful terrain you will get to Fenals beach (this is also Lloret, but a different beach)... if you party people, then you definitely need to take a hotel in the center of Lloret de Maar !! ! This is the center of the universe!! ! Lloret with Fenals beach is a quieter place…
Shopping: I was the least interested in this question... but I still took something... it’s better to walk around the shops (mini-shops) in the Center of Lloret (if you stand on the center street facing the sea, then on the left, as if deep in the block... there many shops with clothes, shoes, and jewelry). .
One more tip! Surely you want to bring alcohol home... I advise you to ask the price in supermarkets... I concluded that in large markets - the cheapest alcohol! Gin 0.5 l - 5-18 e... we drank Sangria wine instead of juice... it is low-alcohol and very pleasant... 1 l - from 1 e... it's just hard to believe it! Another important thing: I advise you not to rely on duty free (in terms of alcohol), it’s still a little more expensive there (checked! ), BUT !! ! If you decide to buy alcohol not in duty free, then all this will have to be packed in Luggage!! ! Hand luggage will not be allowed! For example, I packed 4 bottles in my luggage... and everything was delivered intact... of course, if you take something in duty free, then this can already be carried in hand luggage with you on the plane...
