Yes, it is not located in the city center - this did not bother us at all, in the evening the most pleasant thing after dinner is to walk along the embankment to the center and back, in order to somehow digest all the goodies eaten for dinner. Yes, food is one of the reasons why we stopped here. Knowing my (and daughter's) sensitive stomach, having packed a full first aid kit, last time we never had any ailments in terms of digestion. The kitchen is excellently organized, everything is fresh, a lot of what is cooked right in front of you or for you. No complaints about the staff. The room is cleaned regularly. I recommend for families with children. Next time we will send a grandmother with a toddler here. Perhaps not the best offer for young people: noisy discos and a flirting factor are not worth looking for here.
Yes, last time we went on some excursion to Barcelona from the hotel. But this time we rented a car. Convenient, but cheaper in a tour format)

I never thought that you can have such a great vacation for such money. I took tickets from Sanmar. I liked everything, everything worked out! So be bold and this hotel is all! It's really cool here! The location is good, there is a bus stop, shops and cafes nearby, the central boulevard with entertainment is a 10-minute walk away, but this makes the hotel still quiet and calm! The hotel area is not very large, there are pools, one indoor, another outdoor, and also small for kids.

I liked the food, constantly a sea of fresh vegetables and fruits, awesome meat and fish dishes, desserts and ice cream are divine, drinks are paid, but the prices are reasonable!

Just returned from Spain. We rested at the Blaucel Hotel from June 2nd to 16th. I will say right away - I liked everything very much, in the review, basically, I will give recommendations, so that it would be easier to relax later for those who decide to go. Location and beach. The hotel is located on the edge of the city in the tourist area, who wants peace or loves walking is a plus, there are several campsites nearby, everything is very decent.

The beach is huge - several kilometers, there is enough space for everyone, although it will be crowded in June-August. The water was cool in early June (but we enjoyed swimming), then it should be warmer. The sea is clean and wonderful turquoise color. The municipal beach is very large, mostly clean, the cleanliness depends on the vacationers, someone drank beer and didn’t clean up after themselves, the bottles will wait for the cleaners, but this is an exception, basically everything is clean. There is a rental of umbrellas and sun loungers, all for 4 euros. There are a lot of shops around the hotel with all sorts of beach things, you can come light, for 50-100 euros buy everything there: swimming trunks, towels, umbrellas, mattresses, flip flops, glasses, caps, T-shirts, all for 5-10 euros per piece. Sunbathe, but leave it there, so as not to drag it with you. Hotel. The hotel is decent, designed for a beach holiday, the sea is 100 meters from the hotel, not at all tiring. Cleaned and changed towels every day, the reception is almost always Russian-speaking staff. There is animation, entertainment and dancing in the evenings. The rooms are spacious with a sofa, large TV, 5 Russian channels. There is a SPA zone, sauna, gym (5 euros), SPA procedures 35 euros. Of course, it probably cannot be compared with Radisson SAS 4 stars in Europe, but they also have other tasks, no one walks around the hotel in swimming trunks. Nutrition. Restaurant "buffet", with a large selection of products, since the choice is large, nothing fundamentally changed, if you want to eat yogurt in the morning, if you want sausages, there were always fruits. Drinks for lunch and dinner are chargeable. You won't be left hungry. There is no separate restaurant on the menu, there is nowhere to go out in an evening dress, there is only a bar near the pool with drinks, in which animation is held in the evenings. Around - a lot of cafes and restaurants of different levels, a business lunch 8-15 euros, a good dinner with wine in the evening 30-50 euros per person. I recommend Can Flores by the port, the seafood there is the freshest. Products in the store are inexpensive - fruits and wine for 2 euros. Excursions. The choice is large. We stopped at Montserrat Monastery, Dali World, Andorra, Barcelona panoramic + fountains and for 2 days in Madrid with a stop in Zaragoza, Toledo and Valencia. There is Port Aventura, Nice, France, Girona and many more. Bought from Tez tour and on the street. Near the hotel there is also a tour desk and car rental there from 60 euros per day. We went through them to Madrid, everything is wonderful. I also recommend to see excursions there (Lux tour). In addition, there is a railway station in Blanes, from where you can get to Barcelona (1 hour 20 minutes), Girona and Figueres on your own. We went 2 times to Barcelona for shopping and self-examination (fortunately there is something to see). There is a wonderful Botanical Garden in Blanes at the top behind the port, you can get there on foot or by bus, it will also take you with a transfer to the neighboring resort of Lloret de Mar. We also recommend taking a boat ride to the town of Tossa de Mar, very beautiful places, many shops with souvenirs, take a walk, sunbathe and swim back on the boat, trains do not go there. Spain. We liked the country, the Spaniards are quite friendly, on the coast in every hotel there are Russian-speaking staff, there is a menu in Russian in every restaurant, there are no problems with card payments. We didn’t notice the theft that they used to scare us, we left for the whole day and left a decent cell phone on the bedside table, no one took it, although they cleaned it up and brought a cold dinner. They took a safe just in case, it costs 20 euros per week. Summary. We advise everyone who is without “show-offs”, “show-offs” is Marbella... Blanes - for ordinary people with standard requests, the most important thing is a huge space for relaxation, if you want to sunbathe on the beach, if you want to walk around the picturesque surroundings, if you want to go to Barcelona on your own by train , you want on excursions. For the first time, I wanted to stay for another week : ) Whoever decides - we wish you a pleasant stay!

We went through the Tez tour, in Spain we were met by a representative of the travel agency and accompanied us throughout the rest. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed every day, 3 towels per guest. Bed linen is clean. The only minor drawback is bad soap, gel and shampoo, I had to buy for myself in the store. The service is unobtrusive, but responsive, a tip of 1-2 euros was left for the maid. The food is normal, no frills but for every taste. In the morning tea, coffee for free, in the evening water, beer, wine for money. Water 1 euro, wine 8-12 euros a bottle. We had breakfasts - dinners, went to lunch at local restaurants, you can eat together from 10 euros (HUGE burger + cola) and up to 50 euros (mussels, a large plate + large frying pan + a jug of sangria) Entertainment - in the evenings, first children's animators, and then for adults, for 7 days it never happened again. There is a children's playground on site. Location - 5 minutes to the sea, the beach is clean, sunbeds 4-5 euros. The territory of the hotel is not large, on the territory of 2 swimming pools outdoor and indoor. 20-30% of Russians have a friendly attitude towards Russians, many foreigners, among vacationers mostly families with children or just married couples. Every morning there was a meeting with a Russian-speaking representative of the travel agency, who talked about interesting excursions and solved all pressing problems, all excursions were in Russian with a Russian-speaking guide. We liked it, we will definitely go again, because Spain is so big, not everyone had time to see it. . . Recomend for everybody. . .

I advise this hotel for families with children, firstly, there is something to feed the child, except for french fries, and secondly, there is a heated indoor pool, a playground, and nearby children's attractions. The sea is nearby, it takes about 3 minutes to walk. The beach is clean, good, there were few people in June, except for the holiday (analogue of Ivan Kupala), apparently, it was a day off and there were a lot of locals on the beach.

From the hotel there is an open train without rails, the course of which lies to the city center and to the Blanes botanical garden (worth a visit).
Near the hotel in 2-5 minutes walk there are several shops where you can buy groceries, household chemicals, products for children, etc.
A bunch of shops that are exposed on the street, you can bargain in them (we bought a suitcase not for 30 euros, but for 22). Every Tuesday in Blanes, in the city center - a fair, they sell anything, you can buy 3 pairs of men's shorts for 8 euros, or sandals from 8 to 20 euros. A bunch of souvenirs from 1.5 euros and more (souvenirs at the fair are cheaper than in Barcelona). A bunch of cafes and restaurants, about the same price and quality. Opposite the hotel there is a nice cafe, delicious paella, spaghetti (mmmm), and mussels with some awesome sauce. The portions are very large. One dish is enough for two girls.
The sea is clean, the beach is clean, it is cleaned every morning and the sand is rolled out. There is a shower, rental of catamarans. Toilets are on other beaches, or rather, just above the beach, free, clean. There is no toilet near the beach from Blausel.
The hotel is worth noting the Russian-speaking staff at the reception. We got a small room, there is a TV with 2 Russian channels, a refrigerator, a safe, but you have to pay for it, a double bed and a single bed, a table, chairs. On the balcony - plastic chairs and a table. Shampoo and soap were given when they ran out, towels were changed daily. The bed was replaced when it got dirty. We left tips, but no one took them.
Restaurant - one for two hotels. The food is good, varied, a lot of seafood, different meats, sometimes in the morning there was champagne, in the evening - mulled wine. The wines are good but expensive.
there were two Russian-speaking waiters in the restaurant (a Bulgarian and a Pole), and one Moroccan who was learning Russian.
If you leave early for an excursion, you must notify the reception in advance so that you are given a dry ration (juice, water, sandwiches, fruits, yogurt, cookies).

You have to walk to the beach for about 5 minutes, and crossing the roads, sometimes very busy. In general, a very noisy area, and despite the fact that all the hotels around are multi-storey and resemble our usual houses, you get the feeling that you live in a city, and not in a resort. The food in the hotel is bad. And the range is small. Everything is kind of sour, soaked in vinegar. Apparently to keep longer. The rooms are not big, but quite comfortable. The only plus of living on the first floor is a large balcony. In short, at best - it's 3 stars. It's not worth all this money!

Very good, just GREAT hotel. Having already ordered and paid for the hotel, I read negative reviews about this hotel on the Internet and was a little worried about this. However, everything turned out to be just fine, everyone really liked it, so the fears were in vain. There were no nightmares described in those reviews. I must say that we were very lucky with the room - we lived on the 7th floor (by the standards of the hotel), and given the 0th floor, in general, on the 8th. The room was a corner room, i. e. the last one on the floor, and the balcony was just gigantic. Maybe the same number, in the same place. but somewhere on the floor, on the 2nd, 3rd, we would like it less or not at all, because the balcony goes directly to the Blaumar hotel, which is opposite through a narrow street, but we, on the 7th (or 8th? ) floor, the view was simply amazing - panoramic, one might say, on the sea, two hotels opposite (but our balcony did not rest against them, but was higher), the street in perspective, some kind of park or garden, in general greenery, and on a mountain in the distance with ruins on its top. And no noise (such as a disco in the Beverly park hotel or traffic noise and train calls) did not interfere with us, although people from the Blaumar hotel from the 3rd and 6th floors complained about this very disco. I personally got the impression that the hotel was inhabited mainly by Russians. This is the only hotel in the last few years and countries where there were inscriptions in Russian (names of dishes in the restaurant and a folder with information about the hotel in the room). The only thing that would not be superfluous is the presence of a refrigerator in the room. And then you can take it for extra. fee-8 euros per day. I did not really like the beach, although it is quite clean, albeit a municipal one. The sand on the beach is coarse, the size of millet groats. Sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are paid: 4 euros (somehow cool), but the people did not bother, they lay on towels or bedding. For example, we bought ourselves a very nice mattress. All these mats, mattresses and even umbrellas are sold in a small shop near the beach (you still go to the beach past this outlet, so you won’t pass by) I advise you to definitely visit the botanical garden of Blanes Marimurtra. There you can see the sea with rocks, interesting plants and a very calm, just peaceful atmosphere, but, dear ladies, be careful if you dare to take pictures with parrots (photos will be taken right there in an hour while you are walking in the garden. The photos are just SUPER ): a white parrot skillfully pulls earrings out of his ears. I didn’t even notice, but everything ended well: the property (gold earring) was immediately returned to me. So I’m still thinking and wondering: was it an accident, or was the bird specially trained. From the hotel to the city center (Plaza Catalunya) there is a train or bus number 7 Bus, however, much cheaper In the center of Blanes on the embankment on Mondays there is a flea market, and on the street-boulevard, parallel to the embankment, but a quarter further from the sea, inland city- fruit and vegetable market. We took the train to Barcelona to see the Sagrada Familia. We rented a car (diesel Seat-Ibiza) and went to France on our own, without an excursion. We arrived right up to Avignon, and the next day, after spending the night in France in a small but very pleasant hotel near Arles, we stopped in Carcassonne. The medieval castle there is something amazing. We were already there on an excursion 8 years ago, and this time we wandered around it ourselves, without time limits
