Just returned from Spain. We rested at the Blaucel Hotel from June 2nd to 16th. I will say right away - I liked everything very much, in the review, basically, I will give recommendations, so that it would be easier to relax later for those who decide to go. Location and beach. The hotel is located on the edge of the city in the tourist area, who wants peace or loves walking is a plus, there are several campsites nearby, everything is very decent. The beach is huge - several kilometers, there is enough space for everyone, although it will be crowded in June-August. The water was cool in early June (but we enjoyed swimming), then it should be warmer. The sea is clean and wonderful turquoise color. The municipal beach is very large, mostly clean, the cleanliness depends on the vacationers, someone drank beer and didn’t clean up after themselves, the bottles will wait for the cleaners, but this is an exception, basically everything is clean. There is a rental of umbrellas and sun loungers, all for 4 euros. There are a lot of shops around the hotel with all sorts of beach things, you can come light, for 50-100 euros buy everything there: swimming trunks, towels, umbrellas, mattresses, flip flops, glasses, caps, T-shirts, all for 5-10 euros per piece. Sunbathe, but leave it there, so as not to drag it with you. Hotel. The hotel is decent, designed for a beach holiday, the sea is 100 meters from the hotel, not at all tiring. Cleaned and changed towels every day, the reception is almost always Russian-speaking staff. There is animation, entertainment and dancing in the evenings. The rooms are spacious with a sofa, large TV, 5 Russian channels. There is a SPA zone, sauna, gym (5 euros), SPA procedures 35 euros. Of course, it probably cannot be compared with Radisson SAS 4 stars in Europe, but they also have other tasks, no one walks around the hotel in swimming trunks. Nutrition. Restaurant "buffet", with a large selection of products, since the choice is large, nothing fundamentally changed, if you want to eat yogurt in the morning, if you want sausages, there were always fruits. Drinks for lunch and dinner are chargeable. You won't be left hungry. There is no separate restaurant on the menu, there is nowhere to go out in an evening dress, there is only a bar near the pool with drinks, in which animation is held in the evenings. Around - a lot of cafes and restaurants of different levels, a business lunch 8-15 euros, a good dinner with wine in the evening 30-50 euros per person. I recommend Can Flores by the port, the seafood there is the freshest. Products in the store are inexpensive - fruits and wine for 2 euros. Excursions. The choice is large. We stopped at Montserrat Monastery, Dali World, Andorra, Barcelona panoramic + fountains and for 2 days in Madrid with a stop in Zaragoza, Toledo and Valencia. There is Port Aventura, Nice, France, Girona and many more. Bought from Tez tour and on the street. Near the hotel there is also a tour desk and car rental there from 60 euros per day. We went through them to Madrid, everything is wonderful. I also recommend to see excursions there (Lux tour). In addition, there is a railway station in Blanes, from where you can get to Barcelona (1 hour 20 minutes), Girona and Figueres on your own. We went 2 times to Barcelona for shopping and self-examination (fortunately there is something to see). There is a wonderful Botanical Garden in Blanes at the top behind the port, you can get there on foot or by bus, it will also take you with a transfer to the neighboring resort of Lloret de Mar. We also recommend taking a boat ride to the town of Tossa de Mar, very beautiful places, many shops with souvenirs, take a walk, sunbathe and swim back on the boat, trains do not go there. Spain. We liked the country, the Spaniards are quite friendly, on the coast in every hotel there are Russian-speaking staff, there is a menu in Russian in every restaurant, there are no problems with card payments. We didn’t notice the theft that they used to scare us, we left for the whole day and left a decent cell phone on the bedside table, no one took it, although they cleaned it up and brought a cold dinner. They took a safe just in case, it costs 20 euros per week. Summary. We advise everyone who is without “show-offs”, “show-offs” is Marbella... Blanes - for ordinary people with standard requests, the most important thing is a huge space for relaxation, if you want to sunbathe on the beach, if you want to walk around the picturesque surroundings, if you want to go to Barcelona on your own by train , you want on excursions.
