Due to a flight delay, we got to the hotel instead of 21:00 in the evening at 4:00 in the morning of the next day. The host of Odeon tours could not arrange a cold dinner for us with the hotel.

When we checked in, we immediately asked at the reception what happened to our dinner, which was paid for, like the whole previous day, and whether it could be transferred to lunch of any day. They got rejected. No one compensated us for this paid day and meals.

Of the advantages of the hotel, only the location is close to the bus station, from which it is convenient to travel to neighboring towns, Barcelona, Girona and to the beach de Fenals (1.35 € one way) if you are too lazy to walk.

Claimed pool view room - 15 sq. m was tiny. 15 sq. m is an area with a bathroom and a balcony. Two adults and two suitcases can hardly be accommodated and there is no room for passage. Small locker. There is a safe (extra charge), TV, hair dryer.

The declared double bed is two single beds standing side by side.
Bed linen is the cheapest. For each, 2 narrow sheets (which cannot be tucked under the mattress) and a pillowcase with a pillow. There is no duvet cover. But there is a creaky rustling mattress topper on an oilcloth basis (for whom, for what??? ). There is a thin ugly blanket a la Soviet railway.

Small table. One plastic chair. There is no easy chair/sofa. Minibar - no. There are no drinking glasses. The flooring is linoleum imitating laminate.

Free Wi-Fi - as it were, but in fact to be, you have to pay. We didn't. For the same money bought a local SIM card with the Internet.

The room has air conditioning (channel). The temperature controller does not work. Only 2 fan speeds work. It does not save from the heat, but it can blow well.

The bathroom is spacious. Everything is whole, everything works. Toilet paper, soap, shampoo and gel bags are reported regularly. Files, cotton pads, spoons and sponges for shoes - no.
Bathrobes, slippers - no. There is no kettle. There is no iron in the hotel.

Room cleaning daily. The maid every day took our towels off the hooks and stacked them on the countertop in the bathroom, thereby mixing them up. And this, by the way, means of personal hygiene. Towels were changed twice a week and bed sheets once. The balcony was not cleaned at all. After the previous guests left a full ashtray of cigarette butts.

On the third day of our stay, a Do Not Disturb sign appeared in the room. Once we were in the room and there was a "do not disturb" sign. But someone persistently picked the key-card in the lock, I had to cough meaningfully. I really hope it was the maid and not someone else.

The hotel does not pull on 4 * at all, even by the standards of Spanish resorts. Maximum - 3 * and then with a big stretch.

The star rating of the hotel necessarily includes not only the level of repair and the size of the room, but also the quality and availability of certain furniture, dishes, and the quality of bed linen. At the Acapulco, it's more and more like a hostel.

The safe was not used. Documents, money, a laptop, iPhones, expensive things were left in the room. Nothing is missing.

All of the above could be experienced if not for the dining room.

It is the dining room, the language does not turn to call it a restaurant. Instead of tablecloths, there are paper napkins on the tables, like in fast food restaurants. plastic chairs. You cannot choose a table yourself. It is indicated by the hostess (a person meeting at the door of the restaurant). He keeps a close eye on all guests. It even seemed to me that he considers who ate how much.

We were ready for a limited range of dishes, but not for such a disgusting quality of food.

There was no cottage cheese or yoghurt for breakfast.
There was something milky in 2 jugs and one container. Without an expiration date, indication of fat content and generally any identification marks. What they were doing there, God only knows.

From vegetables (both for breakfast and dinner) - lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers - everything is certainly the day before yesterday's freshness, cucumbers are also bitter. Always overcooked bacon. Fried eggs, scrambled eggs, 3 types of breakfast cereals, one type of sausage and ham each, sausages, 2 types of pastries.

From fruits, it is standard for tomorrow and for dinner - unwashed hairy peaches, nectarine, sour melon or watermelon, pineapple, oranges. And there was also a mix of canned fruit.

For dinner alternately: white fish, chicken, meat - all in small pieces in some kind of sauce, breading. So that it is impossible to understand what you eat.

Twice there was stale fish, once spoiled chicken, and once rotten, smelly pork. Once - sour canned fruit.
They also serve soup for dinner. It is always unknown from what, a strange look and taste.
There are french fries (that's what people mostly eat) and boiled potatoes. Sometimes pizza or pancakes. Well, all the same 2 types of baking. They never changed.

Once there was a jamon - a separate boy stood next to him, cut it into the thinnest transparent slices and applied 2 pieces to each. They didn't give supplements.

The staff seems to be trying. Seemingly polite. But in the dining room they rush about with dirty plates, carrying them over your head or under your nose. They jump to the table with a mountain of dirty dishes in their hands as soon as they see a set aside plate. Constant noise and roar.

One of the employees complained to us that she caught a cold and showed herpes with which she went to work in the canteen and in the bar! - no comments

Crockery in the dining room is a separate pain. By age, probably from the time of the king-pea, with broken edges, scratched, often poorly washed, with dried food remnants.
"Silverware" is of such a depressing appearance.

There is no a la carte restaurant in the hotel. The only bar's meager menu is pizza and a few drinks.

We ordered 2 cups of coffee at the bar: espresso + latte. The barmaid poured two identical cups of 150 ml. And she herself could not determine which cup of which coffee. To do this, she took a spoon and chatted in one of the cups, saw milk there and said “this is latte”

check-out - 10:00 am. Our transfer to the airport was at 18:00. Three days before check-out, we asked to pay for an extension of the room for a day. They got rejected. As a result, I had to wander around the city all day in the heat of +35. Suitcases were allowed to be left in the storage room. We were also allowed to lie near the pool.

The maximum is a 3 * hotel (to be honest, 2.5 *). Rooms are overpriced. And the quality of the food is just disgusting.
