In principle, nothing more is needed from a 3 * in a big city. Cons - very noisy. It was spring and cool - not so crowded at night on the street and in the bar at the entrance. In the summer, I think it will be impossible to sleep. Audibility inside and a walking crowd below. Pros - location. Gothic quarter, delicious bakery downstairs at the entrance, Rambla - 10 min walk, shopping centers in Place Catalunya - 10 min, Passeig de Gracia - 10 min. Embankment - 15 minutes leisurely. Fine. Last year we stayed at the Catalonia Avinyo 3 * hotel - a new three-star hotel on a nearby street - though modern - many rooms without windows - overlook the inner corridor. Pros: quiet, good breakfast, good location. In general, 3 stars - no expectations, but if possible a little more comfortable and quieter - If we go next spring, we will definitely choose Avinyo, not Suizo. And Barcelona in the spring is beautiful! Fresh air, not hot, you can walk for a long time. Everything is just blooming, freshly fried squid, cuttlefish in the Boqueria market. Fruit salads and fresh jamon in a bag. If not a long queue for the funicular, then you can ride on Mount Manjuk on it above the port overlooking the beaches. Walk along Manjuk to Plaza Españ a and take a taxi back to Barceloneta to a restaurant for dinner. . wonderful. Taxi in the city - more than 7 Euro did not come out. We went to a flamenco show - an amateur club performance - we bought the most expensive ticket with a dinner with a duck.
