In principle, nothing more is needed from a 3 * in a big city. Cons - very noisy. It was spring and cool - not so crowded at night on the street and in the bar at the entrance. In the summer, I think it will be impossible to sleep. Audibility inside and a walking crowd below. Pros - location. Gothic quarter, delicious bakery downstairs at the entrance, Rambla - 10 min walk, shopping centers in Place Catalunya - 10 min, Passeig de Gracia - 10 min. Embankment - 15 minutes leisurely. Fine. Last year we stayed at the Catalonia Avinyo 3 * hotel - a new three-star hotel on a nearby street - though modern - many rooms without windows - overlook the inner corridor.
