1. Hotel

In general, the hotel makes a good impression from the outside (all the photos that you have seen on its website are true), it is especially beautiful in the evenings. But if you get closer to the buildings, the first impression is blurred: the feeling that it was built by Ravshan and Jamshud (aka "Our Russia"), and at the same time they were in a hurry somewhere: tiles in chips and cracks; plumbing in the rooms is not bad, but installed through one place; glazing beads sticking out of the seams - pieces of wood and much more. As they say, a trifle, but unpleasant. The territory noticeably lacks greenery ...The hotel consists of a main 3-storey building, and, as other authors have already written, two "villages" consisting of 2-storey buildings - Italian (on the coast) and Russian (behind the Reception) ; 3 swimming pools (2 large, 1 for children); 3 restaurants (2 - on the 1st and 2nd floors of the main building, the 3rd - in the Italian village) with the same menu.
There are no sports facilities.

2. Rooms
In general, despite the little things, not bad: quite comfortable and spacious. Moving from a Russian village to an Italian one (closer to the sea and with a corresponding view from the window) costs $50 at the Reception. The room has: TV, normal air conditioning, hair dryer and safe, minibar - refrigerator (filled free of charge once, upon arrival), in the Italian village rely on a bathrobe and slippers.

3. Beach
The beach is good, sandy. Corals begin to occur about 5 meters from the shore; a pontoon goes into the sea, from which everyone bathes. Near the pontoon - beautiful corals and lots of fish.
3 things really hit me hard:
- there are not enough sun loungers for everyone! If you come to the beach at 9 am, after breakfast, it is likely that there will be no free space ...
- Beach towels. It tends to end up with sun loungers...If you were given a towel in the morning, then don't hand it over when you go to lunch!
Otherwise, you will be offered to take a towel already used by someone ...Yes, here's another thing: this is the ONLY hotel in all of Egypt, in which towels are issued on an appointment. What does it look like? You give a card, and a semi-literate Arab hardly prints out the numbers of your number and the number of issued towels in a thick notebook. Leaving the beach, you have a unique opportunity to stand in a queue for 15-20 minutes to hand over towels, because an Arab will never find your number right away.
- a bar that runs out of drinks by noon.
As a minus, I can also characterize the volleyball court belonging to the neighboring hotel (located behind the diving shed): in principle, it is not forbidden to go to play on it, but there is nothing ...the animators do not bring the ball with them.

4. Animation.
But there is none, this animation ...there are animators, but there is no animation.

Several Italian hares come to the beach in the morning in T-shirts with the inscription "Animator", and have fun talking with Italian tourists, sitting on their sun loungers. At 12 o'clock, elderly Italian women are dancing near the bar and pool. There are no sports games. In the evening, music plays on a small area on the beach (like a disco) and in a Russian village next to the pool, a girl sings under karaoke (her voice and ear are excellent, but the repertoire is the same - you listen 2-3 times, and already get bored). All. Nothing to do in the hotel at night. ABSOLUTELY NOT - THING - GO!

5 Food.
Of the 3 restaurants for us, the Slavs, only one is open - which is on the 2nd floor of the main building under the Reception. The range of dishes leaves much to be desired...No, of course, you won't go hungry, but the choice is very small. EVERYONE IS THE SAME food system (there is no division into AI, elite AI and ultra AI, as suggested when buying a tour - this is a hoax).
I was very surprised by the absence of hibiscus in drinks, other drinks are diluted "Yupi", tasteless. From alcohol - beer, vodka, gin, whiskey, rum; all local production. In the afternoon, three trays of pastries are brought to the beach bar, such as an afternoon snack. A very unpleasant detail - dishes, including glasses, are not enough for everyone in restaurants, it is impossible to get a drink at the bar. And this shortage is palpable for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

6. Moral atmosphere in the hotel.
A total negative. Russians are not considered people, everything is only for Italians. Nowhere have I seen such a large number of conflicts between tourists and the administration and staff, who do not even consider it necessary to hide their hatred of the Russians. Absolutely no one needs you at the hotel, and if you address a problem, expect that you will be "dismissed" by all means.
For example, if upon checking into a room you find that the safe does not work, you have a chance of 5 hours after submitting an application to wait before someone comes to you.


In general, to summarize: a 5-star hotel does not pull at all; even by Egyptian standards (I have been to Egypt 6 times, there is something to compare) by a maximum of 3. There is absolutely nothing for young people to do in this hotel, there are no entertainments, except for “drinking vodka - lying around the earth”. Service and food - 3 with a minus. I do not advise anyone to go to the hotel to rest, believe me that for the same money you can get much more pleasure from your vacation in another place. In general, draw your own conclusions.
