Foolishly did not read the hotel reviews before paying for the tour. The agency showed us beautiful photographs depicting snow-white buildings, a mini-water park, and a blue-blue sea. The price was right too. Before that, we rested in Dreams Beach, so we expected to get into the Egyptian five-star economy level. Now point by point:
1) We settled on arrival in a room in the water park area, far from the sea. This was stated in the vouchers. We returned to the reception, gave 40 dollars, moved closer to the sea overlooking the pool. The room is normal. Everything seemed to work, the furniture looked shabby, but we didn’t need anything special. Naturally, there could be no talk of bathrobes and slippers, it was clear from the amount paid for the tour. Cleaning is weak, but this also got away with the cleaners. Tipping out of decency was left. They didn't change the situation.
2) Beach and sea. The sea is luxurious, a wonderful coral reef, the entrance to the sea is via a pontoon. Flora and fauna are the strongest side of the hotel. It is advisable to get up early, then you can see a stingray, sometimes turtles, a huge moray eel. In the daytime, a lot of colorful fish gather near the reef, which are very pleasing to the eye. The beach itself is small, perhaps in the high season there are not enough sun loungers. Some tourists pay beach boys to hold their sun loungers closer to the sea. We didn't do that, because we came around half past seven.

3) The territory is normal, very nice, we could recommend it to families with children, as everything seems to be there for them: a kids club, a playground, water slides. But in the next paragraph, I will reveal the reason why I do not advise traveling with children.
4) Food is the horror of the hotel. The problem is the lack of staff. Tables are cleaned too quickly, they are not wiped. Either the countertops (during breakfast) or the tablecloths are sticky with crumbs. I remember Soviet sanatoriums from childhood, and so everything was just as simple there, but still cleaner, although one waitress cleaned 10-15 tables. There is also a constant shortage of cutlery, cups and glasses. The dishes are washed in dishwashers, so the reason for greasy dishes is different, namely, our compatriots. For example, an uncle walks, cannot find a large plate, takes a small one with dirty hands, then sees large plates at the other end of the restaurant, puts the small one back. It has hand marks on it. Our tourists are a thunderstorm of all resorts, only the Arabs are worse. They pick up full plates of food, then with dissatisfied faces refuse them, because they don’t taste good. I agree, the food in the hotel is not tasty, but they will not cook better if you stupidly translate the products. Our holiday was overshadowed by the fact that they nevertheless got poisoned in a restaurant, my young man had an upset stomach, I was vomiting. And this is before such a long-awaited trip to Israel. There was no time to move and we still went. Thank God that they took their feet out of the hotel in time, as it turned out that our neighbors, acquaintances from the beach, and several more couples with children were also poisoned there. During the tour, we were fed modestly, but in very clean places. I liked the tour. They survived thanks to Egyptian tablets (antinal), they help well.
We cannot recommend the hotel to anyone. This is indeed our last stay at the Continental Plaza.
