Hi all! Rested with my wife 04/23/2011 to 05/01/2011. Abroad 5th time: were 2 times in Turkey and 2 in Egypt.
ARRIVAL:
They took a ticket from Coral Travel - quite cheap for both the Easter and May holidays. They were a little afraid, remembering last year's story, which almost ended in the bankruptcy of the operator, but EVERYTHING went great. UIA flew, takeoff and landing went flawlessly.
ACCOMMODATION:
They settled very quickly, instantly at our request they changed the room from the first floor to the second with a beautiful side view of the sea, they did not require baksheesh, but we still gave $ 10 after checking in as a token of gratitude.
NUMBERS:
The rooms are spacious, well furnished, everything works. From the balcony it was very nice to look at the sea. Cleaning every day, qualitatively and carefully, 5 points.
TERRITORY:
Just huge (three hotels together Sea Life, Sea Club and Sea Garden), very well-groomed, green, constantly improving, decorating, cutting something. The territory of our hotel was enough for us: artificial ponds, fountains, an artificial grotto with a waterfall over the pool, chic and fragrant vegetation. 5 points!
NUTRITION:
Food is not for gourmets, without any frills. However, the food is very healthy, no one got poisoned, the first-aid kit did not have to be unpacked. We went to dinner at the Sea Club once, the choice is a little more, but we strained the small queues and the official dress code (evening dresses, stilettos, shoes, shirts, trousers). We took a sea dinner on the beach for Easter (for a fee). The sea, stars, candles on the table, excellent serving and service. Soup and seafood salad were eaten with pleasure, they cried over the main course (it didn’t fit anymore)))). And on the platter was crab, huge shrimp, fish and a lot of other tasty things. In general, money is absolutely not a pity, now every day we remember......
ALCOHOL:
Quite edible: beer-flavored beer, gin and tonic (tonic from a can, not from the tap), vodka, whiskey, cognac, rum, make various cocktails. You can drink. Yes, alcohol is not of our degree, but weaker, but imagine if our person pours “ours” all the rest. Our man will reach the sea on the last day)))
STAFF:
Responsive, polite and helpful. They react well to baksheesh and a smile, badly to rudeness, keep in mind.
SEA:
The hotel was 40% full (probably people still think that the revolution has not ended in Egypt), there are plenty of places on the beaches of all three hotels. There are comfortable sunbeds, fences from the wind.
The sea is very shallow at first, you will have to walk knee-deep for 70 meters, you definitely need slippers so as not to injure your feet on corals or hedgehogs. Slippers can be bought on site, you need to bargain. A mask is also required. Even at a depth of 0.5 meters there is something to see. If you get to the depth, then you will find a sharp cliff of 30 meters, which is a coral wall, and near it a huge number of different fish, ranging from "little things" to inhabitants of human height. The spectacle is amazing!! ! You can immediately go down to the depth along the Sea Club pontoon. It is worth seeing, it is the best decoration of the hotel and the whole holiday. Who loves to swim, this hotel is just for you.
A SPOON OF TAR:
In this barrel of honey, in my opinion, there is only one fly in the ointment - ANIMATION. It's a shame for such a chic hotel to have such poor animation. The chief animator is a real boorish person, he does not know how to communicate with guests and does not try. From the beach, he does not invite anyone to any entertainment, he only lazily walks around the pool. My wife once went to aqua aerobics, then spat for a long time. There is no load, and the animators have a very bad sense of humor: they took each other by the leg, jumped around the pool and sang "A grasshopper was sitting in the grass. " From the side of aqua aerobics, it reminded me of an open day in a madhouse. The club dance is miserable, the evening programs are creepy and miserable (there is something to compare with). Thanks to the bartenders who brightened up these shortcomings of the hotel.
