It was my first time abroad, so there was nothing to compare with. Rested with his wife from 13 to 26 November 2008. Arriving in Sharm around 9 am. At the airport we were met by a Russian-speaking guide. Then we went to the hotel. They settled us in about 30 minutes. The room is not a penthouse, but for a 4 * it is quite decent. We liked it, especially since we were not going to sit in it from morning to evening. In the description of the hotel, in principle, everything is written correctly. Only the hotel itself is on line 3 behind the Tropicana Rosetta hotel. By the way, the main restaurant is located in Rosetta, and Jasmine is like a continuation of Rosetta. Walk to the beach (there are no free buses) for 10 minutes at a leisurely pace. Through the Hilton Hotel and along the boardwalk. And the name of the beach is not Viva Beach, but New Tiran is a neighboring beach. We swam on the beaches of all the hotels - no one said a word. Just on our beach there were few corals, but a good entry into the sea. The beach is not big, but there is enough space for everyone. There was no animation in Jasmine, but in the evenings in Rosetta there were Bedouin dances and a hookah near the entrance to the restaurant. But it was more interesting for us to walk around the city. Our guide took excursions to Cairo, Tiran Island, St. Catherine's Monastery, 1001 nights, Ras Mohammed. I liked everything, except for 1001. I don’t advise you to go - waste your money (they gave $ 80 for two). All other tours are just great. There were no complaints about the hotel staff. The room is cleaned every day - very clean. They left a tip - 1 pound a day. The guys in the bar are also normal, if they are treated like human beings, and not like our Russian cattle. The restaurant has a large selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I advise you to go to dinner at 19-00. And then there are a lot of people and there may not be free tables. Separately, I want to say about the guide at the hotel. His name is Timur (Tamer). For all questions, contact him, he will always help to resolve any issue. Yes, and it is interesting to talk with him - a good and cheerful guy. And in conclusion: of course, Jasmine is not a Hilton, there are not big disadvantages here (for example, with water in the bathroom), but it is quite suitable for a relaxing holiday. We were very pleased with the rest, and the hotel and its staff.
