The agency did not submit documents for a visa, and as a result, the trip fell through. The border officer explained that the person was not on the list, and this was not a refusal of a visa, but they simply did not hand over the documents, you arrive in 2 days - we will deliver it without problems. I had to return in the middle of the night by taxi from Taba to Sharm (250 km). The taxi was paid for by an Arab guide who was waiting on the Egyptian side. He said it was their fault and he was fired from his job. He promised to return the money the next day in the same place where the excursion was bought. As a result, the next day, Alex tried to get a taxi on the beach (like we arrived safely - pay). After a short run-in with us in English, he agreed to give the amount minus $ 10. They did not spoil their nerves, they took the money. Not a big problem, Israel is not going anywhere, let's go again.
It is really necessary to bargain and often brazenly, because the prices are unrealistic. It is best to exchange a small amount of dollars in the bank for pounds, it is more profitable to buy. The rate of 1 dollar is 5.76 pounds, in the bazaar everyone counts 1:5.
Real prices: taxi from the hotel to El Fanar beach - 5 pounds (5 minutes drive). Water in the store 2-2.5 pounds, an average quality mask with a snorkel - 8-10 dollars, slippers - 5 dollars. The hotel has a souvenir shop, there are also good prices, you can buy and not go far. It is worth taking a walk at the Old Market, the prices are even lower. There are a lot of fakes, especially papyrus and alabaster (the real one is expensive and very heavy).

The beach is small but the SEA makes up for everything. You still need to look for such beauty, take a mask and snorkel and swim 40-50 meters from the shore until the shoal ends, where the yachts are. After that, all the shortcomings will seem like a trifle about which you can not remember. You need to come to the beach for a maximum of half-10 by taxi, then there may not be places. The small beach is divided between three hotels. In reality, there are 20 seats on the Sun Set, no more. The hotel will need a fumigator, mosquito repellent, a bag with a lock, a key with you (we did not trust the safe at the reception). There is no animation, for this you need to take a taxi to Naama Bay, it costs a maximum of 20 pounds one way. There is something to see, walk along the promenade. In general, everything is as expected from the Egyptian trio, the shortcomings are not so serious as to spoil your vacation because of them. If you want service - go to 5 *, but pay 3 times more.
