We rested in the Sun Set 3 * in October 2010. I want to note right away that the hotel is not for tourists with claims for high service. This is a completely ordinary average Sharmovsky three-ruble note for those who do not want to pay a lot of money for a hotel, but believe that it is better to spend more on the rest itself! The hotel does not have a large territory. Far from the beach, but the bus runs. A beach with beautiful corals, but we didn’t always go to the beach of our hotel - there were often not enough sunbeds and there were a lot of people in general. The guests of our hotel said that there was an excellent wild equipped beach - that’s where we spent almost the entire vacation! The food, as in most "three-ruble notes" in Egypt or Turkey, is not varied and of the same type - a small selection of side dishes, vegetables, one type of meat or chicken, they cook quite tolerably, I have not heard anyone complain about stomach problems (at least during our stay there). Many were outraged that the chef himself solemnly puts the meat dish on the plates of the guests - well, why be surprised? It's normal for an economy hotel - if you want to impose yourself and as much as you like, choose hotels higher than the star rating!
Our room overlooked the patio - of course, there was no beautiful view, like the people who lived overlooking the pool, but it was always quiet with us - but for us, people who are no longer young, this is a huge plus! And of the minuses - this is cleaning of the room, it was not at all. We returned from the beach, found the beds made - that's it! wet cleaning was clearly not carried out, bed linen was not changed, despite the tips that we regularly left.
The purpose of our trip to Egypt this year was pilgrimage. We booked 2 excursions of this kind: visiting Mount Moses + St. Catherine's Monastery and a two-day tour to Israel with a trip to the Dead Sea, to Bethlehem, visited the Wailing Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, examined many other sights. Excursions were ordered from the Super Sky Tour operator - we have been communicating with the guys for more than a year and they always delight us with their work.
