Nightmare. Horror. Disappointing and a waste of money. If you want to spoil your vacation, the impression about Egypt as a country, so that you never want to come back here again, then you definitely need to visit Sharm Plaza, which, by the way, has one pathetic name from the plaza. In order.
1. It was expected to see a 5-star hotel, as stated, but in fact it turned out to be so frail 3 that even it should have been demolished and forgotten a long time ago. The hotel experienced its best times 30 years ago. I'm not kidding. Old. Filthy. Dusty. Gloomy. Dilapidated. No one invested in the reconstruction and even minor repairs. A feeling of melancholy, sadness, complete despondency from the interior and exterior, a feeling of where I ended up and where my things are.

Hotel entrance and reception. The first thing that caught my eye was unwashed, patched windows, a layer of dust at the reception, a sticky wooden counter, no air conditioning, dusty broken sofa chairs and exhausted reception staff.
Early check-in (and this is at 9 am) - plus 15 dollars. Checking into a room with a balcony (otherwise they will be settled in a box without windows and doors) cost another $ 50 to the manager. The staff is in dirty T-shirts, sloppy, constantly sweating due to the lack of air conditioning and in the eyes of everything there is one dumb answer - dollars, dollars, dollars ...

Number. From what I see, I want to stand up ...There is no central light - only a lonely bedside lamp gives a sad meager light. The air conditioner rumbles like a herd of elephants. It hums and howls all the time. Turning it off is not an option - you can die from the heat. Rusty broken plumbing, dirty toilet, ruined sink, shower running on its last legs. There is almost never hot water, and cold water disappears every other day. Surprised that there is not even such a trifle as a toilet brush. Exactly like the hoods in the "bathroom". Gray towels. Bed linen was not changed even once in 10 days. There is no kettle, coffee and tea, as usual in 5 star hotels.
At my request for an additional fee to bring a kettle and a cup into the room, they said it was not provided. But for $15 they'll bring me coffee in my room. What coffee? the one in the canteen (the language would not dare to call it a restaurant) - gray slops, which have one name from coffee. An old TV from my grandmother's time. There is no dryer - the laundry had to be dried on a wooden balcony, having previously washed it from dust and dirt on its own and risking every time that it would fall to the ground. Ruined almost all white things, as there were stains from the tree.

Internet. Separate pain and nightmare. It just DOES NOT exist!! ! Keep in mind - not just "does not work well": really NO. There is Wi-Fi at the reception, but the managers turn it off and every time they brazenly make a surprised face that they have technical problems. There is a dude in the hotel who sells Vodafone SIM cards. DO NOT BUY! There is not even half of the declared gigabytes.
My son and I bought one SIM card for $ 25 for 10 GB, which disappeared somewhere in a very tight economy mode ...in two days. Buy a card at the airport, and not vodafone, but orange or etisalat. Or you just need to go to the city for it. It costs 2 times cheaper and there is a real Internet, and not a swindler for all the money in the world. Then we were surprised to learn that you can simply top up your account for 6 bucks and get the same 10 GB, which at least does not go down the drain.

Food. Poor, monotonous, tasteless. There is no feeling that you are full, even if you eat three additional servings. Poorly made with poor quality ingredients. Terrible serving - sticky dirty wooden tables, to which elbows stick (still disgusting, as I recall), a lot of unpleasant kitchen smells - there is no air conditioning in the "restaurant" either, no napkins on the table - a knife and a fork, that's all the serving for you. Everything smells bad.
I don’t want to touch anything, coffee is slop from a tank with a faucet (they didn’t hear about a coffee machine here). And the hit of the season - NO CUPS! Pour yourself into plastic cups and burn your fingers as you carry it to the table. The "restaurant" itself is nasty, dirty, smelly, with stains on the walls and wooden panels, staff in dirty clothes and with sweaty foreheads. Never had an appetite. They doused themselves with an antiseptic three times per meal.

Bar and drinks. There is no "inclusive" here from the word at all! If you thought there, mojito, Pina collada, whiskey or dry wine - forget it. At the most, they will pour you beer into a small plastic cup at the bar on the beach, and over time, when you do not leave a tip, they will each time say that you need to wait for the beer - the car has broken down !! ! By the way, I don’t want to leave a tip there, it’s just fundamental.

At the bar of free beer, coke, sprite and type of juice (filled in nonsense): paid drinks start at $3 for a non-alcoholic mojito. Once I took my son ice coffee for 3 bucks - rare slops. Don't buy - they are not worth it. The wine in the type bar is dry free, but it tastes like young calf piss from the same sad plastic cup. Warm, nasty, tasteless. Like the rum that I was once offered to pour - just a bunch of ice and 2 ml of rum.

Service and courtesy. Haven't heard of this service. Hotel management don't give a shit about tourists. There is not a single pleasant little thing that you usually get in 5 stars when you want to smile at the staff and leave a tip. Arrogant, rude, often intrusive. Honestly, I just wanted to go to the beach, not see anyone and not talk to anyone. Poor and very primitive animation with their eternal "aram zam zam guli-guli"...
once we went with my son to an evening "performance" - melancholy and sadness, just sitting and drinking water will not work, and they won't bring you beer for free. A glass of normal wine costs 8 bucks. By the way, about water - they give it to the lobby at the rate of ...one bottle per person !! ! In Egypt. Water. One bottle of 0.5 per person...I had to argue with the staff and demand water.

The general impression is to howl from anguish. There is no feeling that you are rested. That I visited a 5 star hotel - no. Never before have I been so happy to pack my things and run away from a hotel. I won’t go to Egypt anymore - I know there are good hotels (last year we were in Albatros Palace - a sea of u200bu200bpositive! ), but the impression has already been spoiled forever. Of the good only the sea and a beautiful rich reef. No matter how I tried to think positively and console myself with the sea and fish, the gloomy mood returned every time I encountered staff, lack of service and basic amenities.
For aesthetes, in general, death, honestly ...If you are already there and see this whole nightmare, change the hotel. Contact the tour operator, spend more time, yes, but at least DON'T ruin your vacation.

The hotel is NOT 5 stars. Three maximum and with a stretch, but they fight like from 5 matches. It is high time to close or demolish, or sell to the owner who loves his job and will do for people and with love. Spoiled vacation and the nasty impression that you were stupidly scammed for money .. .
