I must say right away that, based on the numerous enthusiastic reviews of friends about holidays in Egypt, they were set up for the best. They neglected (quite in vain) only the most important thing - 5 * all-inclusive in Egypt does not justify itself (I compare it with Turkey, for example). You could safely take a more modest tour and not show off. The overall impression is that it is quite a normal stay. We were tuned to the fabulous sea - it is really fabulous there! But a few unpleasant moments nevertheless spoiled the overall impression.
The hotel is "young" and ooooooochen large territory - sometimes it's tiring, especially if the room got in front of the hotel (before the reception). From there it is about a kilometer to walk to the beach. By the way, Russians and Ukrainians are mainly settled there. In the rooms located closer to the beach - mostly Italians, there is also their vibrant animation.
We were "kindly" (for an extra $20) given a room with a sea view. The rooms are quite cozy, air conditioning works great, free safe. Bath, shower, hair dryer, clean towels and linen - daily. Tipping was left, but not by the dollar, but by 1-2 pounds - we were told that this was quite enough. Yes, and it was not a pity - the boy cleaned diligently.

Nutrition. Pretty plentiful, three meals a day and you could additionally refresh yourself at the bar in between the main ones. But, as it seemed to me, in Turkey it was more diverse. In addition, the food itself is quite bland - not for everybody. Personally, I don't eat meat at all. Although there was enough of it - mostly beef, chicken, a couple of times they gave a duck (it was very good! ). Fish, oddly enough, the only "representative" of seafood (in a country standing on the seas) and, unfortunately, left much to be desired. But sweets and pastries - you can’t try everything !! ! Fruits are tasty, fresh, but alas, not washed (for example, grapes and pears), but sprinkled with water, which flows into the plate in dirty puddles. Once they were poisoned together, after that they ate only watermelons and melons.
Beach. Clean and spacious. There are always free sunbeds and exactly where you want. People don't walk on their heads. Upset only the sea itself. As the locals later said - our hotel is located in the most windy place and here is the deepest sea (in the fault up to 309 m). It gave both plus and minus at the same time. Minus - a constant wave (especially before lunch) prevented not only from viewing the underwater world through a mask, but also from just swimming. Frankly, it’s scary when you are carried with force either to the reef or to the pontoon pile. Plus - we have not seen such specimens of fish as on our beach even in the Ras Mohammed reserve!
Service. Alas, it was different. I was very upset, for example, by the case: once they ordered water in the room. Not only did we wait for almost 2 hours (! ), with repeated reminders at the reception, they also brought dirty (I swear, used !!! ) glasses with drinks that were not finished by someone. At the same time, they kindly extended the bill for 24 pounds (with our "all-inclusive"! ) And did not disdain tipping. Judge for yourself.
The guide of our hotel from the company "Pegasus" named Khalid is a separate example of "goodwill and hospitality". God forbid you deal with him!
There is only one conclusion: the simpler, the better. Do not chase luxury in the service (it is not there! ), tune in to the sea - it is the main thing there, and be vigilant - they are bred at every step.
