We returned from the hotel 2 days ago. This was my third trip to Egypt. I always choose hotels myself, I do not trust travel agents, and I am satisfied. Thanks everyone for the feedback. Now I want to share my impressions.
We flew and arrived well (tour operator Turtess), arrived at the hotel after 16.00, we were met by a Russian girl, of course they gave us a room right away, we didn’t give money and settled us in building 4. It was probably 500 meters to the sea, maybe more. Therefore, I went to the beach for the whole day and returned only in the evening. The room was standard, normal on the first floor, with direct access to the street (no balcony). The air conditioning in the room did not work, that is, it blew like a fan, but did not cool. We didn't complain, that's how it was.
The territory of the hotel is beautiful, green, a bit monotonous - the same palm trees and flowers, well-groomed. The beach is spacious, there were always free sunbeds, but the pontoon is something! Very uncomfortable, just did not want to go to him once again. One ladder, on which people climb both up and down at the same time, and many of them sit and hang on it, and it’s just very difficult to go through. There are also 3 vertical ladders, but they are very dumb in appearance, I did not risk climbing them. As for the current, I would not say that it is there, just when there are waves in the sea, it really blows to the side.

The food is the same as in other hotels I have been to. Edible, but mostly not tasty.
Regarding whether it is 5 * or not, it depends on what to compare with. There are 5 * in Egypt 2 times more expensive, it’s probably better there, it’s also better in Europe, but the last time I was in Thailand, hotels are 3 and 4 *, so compared to them, the Grand Plaza is definitely 5 *.
