I rarely leave reviews, but I decided to write about Sharm Club….
I want to immediately ask for forgiveness from tourists who have previously written their reviews, for the so-called "copyright infringement", because. I compiled my review based on other people's previous reviews found on the network, “turned on” everything I agree with, and “thrown out” the rest.
Of course, this is my personal subjective opinion about the rest in this hotel, other people, of course, have their own opinion on this matter. Do not forget that the main enemy of a good holiday is the initial negative attitude and the desire to find fault with all the little things.
So, we rested in mid-April, 10 days. 2 adults and a 7 year old child.
This was our 8th trip to Egypt, 5th to Sharm.

We arrived in the evening, only we were staying at this hotel, so the check-in was instant, without any expectations, surcharges and hints....At least basic English is required, because the staff does not speak Russian, only a few standard phrases, only sellers in local shops speak Russian. We gave documents (voucher and passports), filled out a questionnaire, received an envelope with brief information about the hotel, daily routine and hotel rules, also cards for towels and a room key, everything is standard. They asked to come in for passports the next morning, because the passport data of the “new tourists” are being transferred to the security service. So do not worry about the documents, they will be returned to you, otherwise it happens that people begin to resent about this....
Because it was already “dinner time”, we were offered a choice of two options for “settlement”: restaurant– room or room– restaurant. We were tired and wanted to quickly go to the room, so we chose the second option. Do not fly evening and night planes (both back and forth), it is very inconvenient, if possible, try to fly away in the morning.
And so, the porter took our luggage and led us to the room. We walked along a stone path winding among trees and flowers, lit by lanterns, a light breeze blew and the smell of the sea, absurdity....Along the way, we were explained where everything is geographically, at the same time the employee asked us for the umpteenth time we were in Egypt, which hotels we had already visited, where we liked it more, said that we would be satisfied with this hotel, he was right. A few minutes later we climbed the "marble ladder" and approached the door of our room. The man showed us the room (how to turn on the lights, TV, air conditioners, how to use the safe, etc. ), then politely asked if we were happy with the room, we were happy with everything, handed him 1d. (we tend to leave a small amount of tips almost everywhere and for everything) and said goodbye. . . We quickly put ourselves in order and went to dinner, after dinner we walked a little around the territory and along the embankment. The first impression is a great hotel, it has not changed during the rest…. This hotel is ideal for lovers of peace and quiet.
HOTEL
Sharm Club Hotel is located right on the seafront at Tower Bay (Ras Um El Sid).
A beautiful view of the sea, a convenient location: if the wind and big waves are blowing on one side, then on the other side it is almost completely calm, and you can safely swim.
The hotel is not large, the area is very green, beautiful and well-groomed. Throughout the territory, stone paths are laid out, winding among the greenery, in the evening everything is illuminated by lanterns.

There are two pools, both are deep for diving (depth ~ 2.5m. ), one is large enough (length ~25m. ), so that pool lovers can swim normally in it. If you travel in winter, then both pools are unheated, there is only a small heated pool in the spa, respectively, for a fee.
There is a Diving Center (even 2) with instructors, suitable for both beginners and advanced ones, so if you wish, you can go diving or freediving (underwater diving while holding your breath), for freediving there are buoys to which cables are attached that go deep (rope serves as a visual guide, a mark with depth is attached to it, and it is also used when diving and ascent). During our vacation, several groups of freedivers were noticed, the Italian group tried to set a new dive record, how this business ended, unfortunately I don’t know. There were also our freedivers, they practiced every day - at the dawn of yoga, then a pool, then they swam in the sea for several hours, my husband often talked with them, met, so to speak, “kindred spirits”, the same lovers of diving, only professionals.
The territory has its own spa center (there is a massage on the beach), a set of services is standard for Egypt, I can’t write more, I didn’t use it.
A conference room is also present. There is no gym, but you can use the gym (replacement sports shoes are required) of the neighboring hotel - Club Reef, because. hotels have one owner and the territory can be said to be common.

Also there (in Club Reef) they invite all interested Russian tourists for daytime and evening animation, almost everything is in Russian there. Most of the tourists are Russian speakers. The local animation (in Sharm Club) is calm, unobtrusive, everything is in Italian, because. the bulk of vacationers are Italians, and only a few Russians, although there is even a Russian-speaking animator - Olga (like from Ukraine). According to reviews, the animation in this hotel is not praised, but we don’t need to be “entertained”, because. we usually spend all daylight hours, starting in the early morning, by the sea, swimming, diving, admiring the underwater world, taking a break only for food, and in the evening after dinner we go to sleep, gain strength for new "swims", so we met with animators only at the entrance to the restaurant.
True, once we were at the weekly "Egyptian show" (folk dances, fire shows, tanura dance, belly dance), I always like it, although in every hotel there is almost the same repertoire and "actors". Watching the show is really better in the center of the 1st row.
Discos also took place, they also take place in the nearby Club Reef, the music is loud, but it did not bother us.
There are only a couple of shops on the territory of Sharm Club, if necessary, you can go to Club Reef, there are more shops.
There were not many children, there is a kids club and a small playground with a slide and swings. The hotel is not big, so in my opinion it is not possible to get lost (get lost), and we allowed our child to play and walk on their own.
The staff is polite, everyone is friendly and always helpful, they are not rude, they smile, we also always smiled in response. Almost no one understands Russian, if necessary, they communicated with the staff in English, and of course a couple of relevant phrases in Arabic, they always “work wonders”. There were no differences in attitudes towards us and towards foreigners. I hope the "Russo-tourist" will not spoil and change the general attitude towards Russians in this hotel. Although I heard that from May 1st the hotel will be "closed" for Russians....

In many reviews (not about this hotel, but in general in reviews) they write that the attitude towards foreigners is better, but they pay much more for the rest, and always, everywhere, leave a tip for everything, they are always smiling and friendly, but without familiarity and observe subordination, in conflict situations they are calm and calm, defend their opinion with dignity. And our tourists, on the contrary, constantly spoil their own reputation, with their inadequate behavior and boorish attitude towards others, impudent, greedy, and always dissatisfied with everything... , and how Russian girls and women behave, “resting separately from their men”, there are no words at all....In one review on this occasion there was a phrase: ". . . guys, what are you doing with them at home! ?... ".
ROOM
We lived in the 422nd room, located near the "big pool". The room is good, large, made like an "apartment", located on the ground floor, but in fact, if you look from the sea, it's like on the second floor, because you had to climb up the stairs to the room.
Behind the front door there is a spacious veranda with a sunbed and wicker furniture (armchairs and a table), a clothes dryer on the wall, very comfortable. Entrance to the rooms from the veranda through the glass door. There are two rooms in total. The first is the living room, it has a wardrobe, a mirror, a sofa (used as an extra bed for a child), a floor lamp, a chair, a nightstand, a telephone. The second is a bedroom, it has a large double bed, a bedside table, a table, a mirror, a TV, a refrigerator-minibar (for a fee, only 1 bottle of water is free upon arrival). Each room has air conditioning, the rooms are spacious.
The bathroom is small, although there was enough space, bidet, shower, sink, large mirror on the wall and an additional magnifying make-up mirror, hair dryer, towel dryer and telephone. The water in the shower always flowed normally, the pressure was normal. On the first day there was no hot water and there was no curtain in the shower, they reported this problem to the reception and hot water and a curtain appeared, it turns out that hot water in each room is turned on / off separately... The day before departure, the light in the "living room" "disappeared" "because the light bulb in the floor lamp burned out, well, it happens, we also reported this to the reception, they promised us to solve the problem in half an hour, but apparently they considered it not too “acute problem”, especially since we moved out, the light bulb was not replaced for us, but we were not strained, because all other electricity worked properly. What can you do, Arabs....and you need to be prepared for this, you should not be surprised at their laziness and sluggishness.

The furniture in the room is far from new, but everything is in good condition, nothing is broken, everything is clean,... and whoever goes to look at the furniture, it’s better to let them go to a furniture store and admire as much as they like. . .
The TV is modern, you can connect a laptop, but remember to take all the appropriate cables for this (although you can buy everything on the spot in the IL Mercato area). TV as such, we practically did not watch, in Russian only a couple of channels, there really were interference. We took a laptop on vacation (we always carry it with us) with pre-downloaded films, connected it to TV and watched what we wanted on the “big screen” before going to bed.
There were mosquitoes in the room, but we stocked up on a fumigator and plates in advance, so this was not a problem.
Two beaches, at the "concrete" and at the pontoon, the beaches are small, but multi-level, there are enough umbrellas and sunbeds, enough for everyone, we did not take mattresses, because. we don’t see any sense in them, the sunbeds are normal, although of course we spend little time in the “lying state”, maybe they are uncomfortable for someone after 5 hours of lying. In addition to the two “main beaches”, there are several small cozy coves where lovers of peace and quiet can retire, the coves are protected from the wind.
Two entries into the sea, the first - concrete slabs (the child called this structure - "underwater bridge"), this entry is convenient only for entering the sea, and for exiting, I would even say it can be dangerous, the second is a pontoon, it is much more convenient to use a pontoon, Moreover, it is not long.
In this area, the water level at high tide and low tide does not differ much. The bottom is sandy, so people constantly trample on the reef in knee-deep water, I never understood why....People!! ! don’t walk on the reef, corals die from it. . . There is a pontoon, dive calmly and swim slowly, looking at the underwater beauty along the way, you don’t know how to swim - put on a life jacket, you came to the Red Sea, its beauty is a must see….

The reef is a wall, in some places the depth is more than 50m. the sight is breathtaking, there are still islands of living corals, a lot of fish, all kinds of different ones, and there are also enough other marine life, there is something to see. There are a couple of very colorful "reef islands", you have to swim about 250m. to the right of the concrete. As Italian tourists who have been in this place explained to us, now the local reef is no longer as good as it was a few years ago, the tourists "trampled", but we were still impressed by the reef, although we saw more picturesque reefs....Another request to vacationers please do not feed the fish….
NUTRITION
The food is good (for Egypt), for gourmets it may be "monotonous", but to be honest, there is always a choice and every time you can try something new. Of course, if every breakfast-lunch-dinner you don’t pile 10 dishes on your plate at the same time, like “I want everything at once”, and then “dig deeper into this pile”, but really don’t eat anything (our compatriots for some reason really like do it)....
There was always enough food for everyone. Omelets, spaghetti and pizza are prepared for vacationers from what you point your finger at. There were meat and fish every day, side dishes to choose from, soups, different fruits, vegetables, eggplants were very tasty, yogurts, desserts, various pastries, cakes, pastries, etc. For lunch and dinner, local wine is served (for those who are not in the know, all local alcohol has a very specific taste) and beer, surprisingly the beer was good, poured from bottles. Drinks are always cold and hot. There was a weekly themed dinner, beautiful and very tasty. Maybe, of course, some people at home have a menu of 150 dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, then for them, of course, there was food "without choice", we were never hungry, but even vice versa....
In the bar by the central pool, cold and hot drinks are constantly available and during "snack time" there were french fries, pizza, hamburgers, buns (of course, not all of this at the same time), but be prepared for the fact that the Italians occupy all the tables at the bar. . .

I would like to remind our compatriots about the elementary rules of behavior and courtesy towards others. "All inclusive" does not mean that ALL INCLUSIVE, have a conscience, because everything has reasonable limits, otherwise you may really soon take furniture out of the room....In a restaurant you can’t pour water from the cooler into bottles, don’t pour it, don’t make a fuss , these are the rules of the hotel (almost all hotels have such rules), for this there are special coolers on the territory (on the beach and by the pools). Do not put “mountains of food” on the plates, do not take all 5 kg from the buffet at once. laid out fruits, because there are other vacationers in the hotel besides you... This time I involuntarily witnessed how one compatriot “raked out” all the strawberries from the tray in just a few seconds, this “mountain” did not fit in her plate, strawberries fell, the aunt began to hold this “mountain” from above with her hand, and when she saw my bewilderment and grin, she proudly gave out - let her son eat a LITTLE (!!! ) berries, apparently, in her opinion, other vacationing children did not want to eat berries....
TOURS
Since we are “experienced tourists” in Egypt, “were almost everywhere and saw almost everything”, I have nothing to write about excursions in this review. We didn’t go anywhere except the “salt room”, the child had bronchitis, so we decided to once again carry out prophylaxis, I don’t feel much enthusiasm for this “excursion”, because this is not an excursion at all, but just physiotherapy, one thing I can say is that it has a positive effect on the respiratory organs, it has been verified...
Do not be afraid to use the services of normal local tour companies. It's cheaper, and the service, security, and so on, everything is at the level, just don't go on the rampage yourself and follow the safety rules. Tour guides in the hotel only "intimidate" tourists with "terrible stories with sad consequences", because guides need to sell as many excursions as possible, because their salary depends on it. Read reviews about local excursion companies and choose the company that suits you, especially since you can (I would even say necessary) plan all excursions in advance (do not forget to take a break between excursions to relax). You order everything you need through the website of the selected company from home, and upon arrival you simply remind the employees of the company about yourself by phone. Very attentive and responsible guys work. And don't forget to bargain....
TAXI

Since the hotel is located on a cape and is located separately, there is no “civilization” outside the gates of the hotel... The hotel does not have its own transport, neither free nor paid, so to get into the city you will need to “catch a taxi” yourself, you need to go out the gate, taxi drivers are "on duty" there, but their prices even after bargaining start at 7 dollars, and this is very expensive. Therefore, I recommend walking on foot towards the "high road" for about 500 meters, there is an opportunity to bargain for a normal price, because. there are many taxi drivers and they will offer their services to you.
Somehow, after lunch, we “got out into civilization”, in principle we decided to walk to IL Mercato, the road took about 30 minutes, we walked at a moderately fast pace. There we walked around the square, looked into several shops, bought fruit and juice in the supermarket (it’s better to pay in pounds everywhere, it’s cheaper). They also wanted to walk back, but taxi drivers offered their services to us so actively that we “surrendered”, the main thing was that we didn’t even have to bargain much, in general, we drove back for 2 dollars. To avoid misunderstandings, negotiate the fare with the taxi driver for all passengers at once, and give the money back only when you arrive at your destination and everyone gets out of the car.
SUMMARY
Often in the reviews I see the phrases “for that kind of money” or “4 * (5 *) could be better”, I’m always surprised by this, people...., you calculate how much the hotel receives from each tourist (subtract the cost of air tickets, insurance from the total amount of the tour) , additional fees, travel agency commission, etc. ), how much is left? And for THIS money for you "ALL INCLUSIVE" - service, food, entertainment, and the sea - a fairy tale!
Maybe they haven’t rested in the Krasnodar Territory for a long time ? ! There you will have service, food, entertainment, and what a sea...., the most interesting thing is what will be the total amount of money you spent on the minimum set - road, snack and overnight ???
The rest in this hotel was one of the most pleasant (I don’t take into account all the minor misunderstandings), a really good hotel, just in our taste - beautiful, quiet, calm.
The main thing in Egypt is the Red Sea, for the sake of it, we, in fact, periodically go to Egypt....
any questions - ask, I will answer
