We read reviews for a long time and looked for information about the hotel on YouTube and decided to fly here, because Albatrosses have a good reputation according to reviews.

We took insurance in case of non-departure (due to the coronavirus), but, fortunately, it was not useful, the tests that we took at the Med Lab were already included in the price of the tour, so we only had to choose a convenient laboratory department and go to pass / pick up the result in English (the result is also sent to e-mail). The tour operator explained everything in detail, so all the preparatory stages went well, although not without tension. From Ukraine, the flight went remarkably, quickly. Check-in at 14.00, but the bracelets were put on immediately after check-in (we arrived at the hotel a couple of hours earlier) and we were able to go to dinner. At first, they gave a not very new and conveniently located room (closer to the beach, but further to the reception, it was not convenient for us personally), but the next day they replaced it with a newer (modernized) one from the side closer to the adult water park, which suited us perfectly . The rooms are good, not dead, even the old one, in general, was normal, everything functioned as it should.
The staff responds to requests quickly and friendly, many can joke with restraint, they know a lot of Ukrainian words and phrases, which is nice. Mostly everyone speaks good Russian, but some understand English better. We learned some words and phrases in Arabic, which also brought a smile from the staff and a doubly friendly attitude towards us. We tried to leave tea for the barista and the waiter in the coffee shop, the waiter in the dining room, the cleaner - every day. The cleaning was not bad in the room, by Egyptian standards, at least we did not look for flaws, and there were no visible defects. Swans were wound up for us from towels even once)). The coffee house, by the way, is just the highlight of this hotel, the coffee is delicious, there are different positions, a real coffee machine, you can order it yourself, or you can wait until the waiter comes up. We also liked the food, many positions were repeated, of course, but with all that variety you don’t really notice it, you still don’t eat everything)) the main thing is that everything is delicious, the chefs prepare a crowd very quickly, there weren’t particularly queues, except sometimes for the most popular items (french fries, scrambled eggs, grilled meat). Green melon was served, but the persimmon was just what we needed, ripe, sweet! Bananas, dates and oranges were good. It is very cool that you can eat something from morning until late at night, although we did not have time to get hungry between breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
The territory of the hotel is not small, there are many pools, children's slides, heating (not in all pools), adult slides are also cool, they rode, only the water is cold, my nose was stuffy in the evening, you need to be careful. There are bars everywhere, good beer, from bottles, white wine wherever it went, but sometimes it gave off a strong spirit, like alcoholic cocktails.
The meeting with the guide went well, in a joking manner, we even took ATVs from him and a trip around the city with lunch at the Fares fish restaurant (very tasty, worth the money spent). It was cool on ATVs, but somehow they rode slowly and not for long, last year they rode steeper. We also went to the city on our own, bought up not far from the hotel from a calm Arab guy Adam (all sorts of oils and teas, parchment), in the Metro supermarket (convenient, you can pay by bank transfer), went to Soho (there is now preparations for the new year, everything decorated with garlands, beauties! ). We went by public transport for a dollar per person, it’s quite normal, the main thing is to dress in closed clothes, minibuses are full of Arab men. Do not be fooled by the guides' scare about the fact that you will not take out oils and other rubbish bought not in their stores, to which they will take you. We have been exporting everything for the second year already, the main thing is not to pack it in hand luggage. Simply, of course, buying something not in certified stores is always risky for a person personally, but no one took anything from us at the airport. At the hotel in the shop, they also bought all sorts of magnets, cigarettes, halva, you can bargain.
The beach upset us a little at first: low tides, a pier half a kilometer long, a red flag was often seen. However, on the territory of the hotel there is always something to do during low tide and the red flag.
We also flew with parachutes on a boat rope, took these flights to the diving center at the hotel, we liked it! The reef is poor, but there are fish, stingrays, moray eels. In the lagoons you can splash with children, adults will not be very good at low tide in the lagoons. It is better to take corals, there are sea urchins.
There is animation in the hotel, we saw how animators play games near the pool, they called for exercises, polo. Called to disco. But we were not interested in all this.

The departure was much more difficult than the arrival, a lot of inspections, in the duty-free terminal worked only through a chip, we were stingy at a gallop and we were kicked out to the bus-transfer to the plane, but after sitting in it for 15 minutes, in masks, in cramped conditions, people got out into the street with scandal, there was some kind of mistake and we were driven into the bus before the crew. Here our Ukrainian savages proved themselves, climbed out of the bus, ran screaming at the airport worker boy, and called him a moron, and a chock... This is the bottom, comrades, ashamed of our compatriots, you can culturally solve problem situations ((They planted us later back to this bus and crossed themselves, probably, when we left, or whatever they have, Muslims do. The flight from Sharm to Kyiv was a nightmare, the children on the plane screamed all the way.
