Rested in the Albatross from 10 to 17 November with a 5-year-old child. Tour operator Tez Tour, carrier Rose of the Winds - no complaints. Insurance "Universalna" -5+ (had to use insurance when the child had an ear disease, were delighted with the efficiency). The weather is amazing, at 7 am -30 degrees, 27 - water in the pool and 29 - water in the sea. By noon the water here and there is about 30 degrees.
There are many reviews about the hotel both on Turpravda and on other popular tourist sites. 80% of them are completely objective, the remaining 20% are written either by people with inflated demands, or eternally dissatisfied grunts, or those who for some reason saw something else in their dreams. Yes, there are more luxurious hotels, but they are also more expensive.
Before the trip, all the reviews were studied lengthwise and crosswise, so there were no surprises upon arrival - what they wanted, they got.

Upon arrival we were allowed to fill out questionnaires, put on bracelets and we went to dinner.
In an hour the settlement process began. At first, the joyful Arab Ahmet led us through the suites: we had a godmother in the company. Despite the fact that she paid for the hotel single, Ahmet really wanted to organize a "family stay" for her. And all would be nothing, but in suites though two bathrooms, there is a bath only in one, and the second - a wash basin and a toilet bowl. After showing the three rooms, Ahmet did not understand why the three adults and the child had 2 baths, but still led us to the rooms that were needed. Kuma lived in a single room across from us, and we were in a spacious double with a bunk bed (since the child was alone, she had the opportunity to alternate floors).
The view from the window, so to speak, is not enchanting - bushes, flowers, fence and construction, partly - the sea. But in this part of the hotel - fresh renovation and beautiful furniture. Since we read that the rooms by the pool are quite shabby, we decided to spit on the views.
Moreover - the 3rd floor gave the opportunity to admire the mountains, sea and sand - an unusual landscape for the eye of Kiev 
Everything in the room is standard: plasma, refrigerator, safe, all kinds of cabinets - lockers - bedside tables, kettle. Water (1.5 liters per person) and tea-coffee-sugar bags were added daily. Towels were changed and cleaned every day. Bed linen is changed at the request of guests - when you put the appropriate plate on the bed. Bathrobes and slippers are brought on the first call to the reception (apparently, we hope that not all guests care).
The boy, who was cleaning up in our part of the hotel, did everything quite diligently, but near the relaxation pool area, as a casual acquaintance complained, we did not even vacuum the carpets.
We chose the albatross in many respects according to the needs of the child.
That's why I evaluate it from this point of view: a hotel with a solid 5 points, especially given the rather democratic prices for tours.

Everything is thought out for children here! Children's club with great animators (I mean - great for five-year-olds, teenagers may be bored), a playground by the active pool with a trampoline, swings, slides and some other entertainment and a playground by the beach bar - tamkach in including suitable for adults. And this without a mini-water park, where various slides attract the little one like a magnet.
In our arrival we opened an adult water park with slides of different "horror". I'm not an amateur, but my husband pampered himself with bursts of adrenaline all the time. For my son and I, there was only one slide - a wide yellow spiral, which goes in a circle with the bottom, the whole family.
But the circle must first be tightened to a height of about the 4th floor, so our dad agreed to such a climb no more than 3-4 times a day 
Not only the lazy do not write about the pontoon, so I will not dwell on it.
I will only say that the daily parade to the reefs on the 700-meter track became the main factor that prevented me from gaining the standard 2 "holiday" kilograms.
One of the happiest memories is of an Arab sitting at the entrance. The pontoon is only for Albatross guests, but he sold something like a detachable ticket to everyone for 2-5 dollars (or in the mood, or who liked how many dollars). He also wrote something important on the ticket. And when the tourist went "to the sea", the guard pulled out of his pocket the root that remained there from the ticket, and threw it away. If the greedy depths of strangers were without money, the Arab gestured to them that before descending into the sea from the pier of the Hotel Kalimera Royal Albatross Modena, they can walk on water.
The sea is clean, shallow, I bought the child sneakers and rejoice - splashing, but certainly not drowning and not scratching. There are plenty of sunbeds everywhere: on the beach, on the pier and by the pools. Towels are changed free of charge.
There are many fish in the sea, even near the shore flocks of fry and needle fish, 300 meters away saw an octopus and two snakes. There is no one on the reefs, and in the evening there are lionfish and middle moray eels.
During the week of rest we saw a black flag once, but even at 7 am. Two or three times for several hours the flag was red, and so all the time white flag.

At night, the beach is just a fantastic atmosphere: the waves rustle, bright stars hang over the sea and small crabs walk quickly along the shore.
Near the hotel is a wonderful market, where there are almost all standard Egyptian goods and souvenirs. Sellers are happy to bargain, when buying 2-3 units and a fun attitude, you are sure to drop half the price.
In Cairo and near the pyramids, everything was shaking, I'm already silent about the hotel benches.
The hotel's restaurants have a great selection of dishes and, what is especially important for Egypt - everything is fresh, not spicy and not oversalted.
There is always milk (both cold and hot), some porridges or soups - mashed potatoes, potatoes in different kinds, three types of pasta, lamb and beef and quail. Many dishes are prepared right next to you: pizza, omelets for breakfast, cakes, sweater, shawarma, pancakes, fish and squid fried in batter. Of the fruits - dates, apples, melons, persimmons, pomegranates, some local fruit is similar in shape to a pear, and taste - feijoa.
It is impossible to stay hungry. And regardless of the time of day: from 5 to 7 am in the Tagine restaurant serves a light breakfast, from 7 to 10 breakfasts at Il Caminetto and Zum Kaizer, from 10 to 12 late breakfasts at L'asiatique. From 12 to 15 on the beach fed in a pizzeria and fish restaurant, from 12.30 to 15 lunch in all restaurants, 17.00 -17.30 - children's dinner in Tagine, from 18.30 restaurants open for dinner, from 21.
30 to midnight - late dinner and from midnight to 05.00 - late snacks in the same oriental restaurant Tagine.
There are Russian managers at the reception and resettlement service (Rimma and Alina), and the rest of the staff speaks English very well. So, gentlemen, do not be lazy, learn languages.
