Hello to all REKHAN members! We rested together with our daughter from December 22 to December 30.2011 at the Rehana Royal Beach Resort & Spa 5 * . Let me tell you right now: we love it! Everything is super! Now in order. The ticket was taken from TURTESS. The flight was at 7 am. We took off on time - 3 hours with minutes of flight and we are in Egypt. At the airport, everything is clear, fast. We did not have time to feel homeless - we were met by a guide from TURTESS with a charming smile, his name is Mizo. A very friendly, attentive, sympathetic young man with a sense of humor. On a comfortable bus we were brought to the hotel. There we were instructed by another guide - Roberto - the same friendly, attentive, responsive. Both of them throughout the entire time of our stay in Egypt were “fathers” for us - in a foreign country, the consciousness that there are people to whom you can turn for help is worth a lot.
SIZE :
To say that we are in Paradise is to say nothing! It’s just amazing how people in the middle of the desert could do it in such a short time - in just 3 years! - to create such a heavenly oasis! 10-meter palm trees, greenery, flowering vines and shrubs, fountains, flower beds - everything blooms and smells! Indescribable beauty! This is a must see! Designers for their work 5+ (on a 5-point scale) (We are still impressed by our journey “to Paradise” - I personally still (although already 3 weeks after returning) have dreams only about Egypt). So, we were fed, "ringed" and settled. We didn’t pay anything extra - we got a room in the 4th building No. 4005 on the 1st floor with a terrace (if you walk a couple of meters from the terrace along the green grass, you can admire the pools and the sea from top to bottom - half the hotel is in full view - beauty! ). The room is normal: 2 huge beds, a sofa, an armchair with a coffee table, a carpet on the floor, a desk with Rekhan's branded stationery set (paper, envelopes, note paper, information about the hotel, a review questionnaire), a huge mirror above it, more at the entrance there is a full-length mirror, TV (there is a Russian channel), a cabinet, a bedside table, a table, a huge wardrobe, a refrigerator with bottles of water (water was brought every day without reminders - we had 5 unused bottles of water by the end), a safe, a kettle with a set of coffee, teas, and sugar (which were replenished without any reminders as they were used), wine glasses, cups, spoons, napkins - everything is clean and tidy; in the bathroom there are 2 huge terry towels, 2 medium ones, 1 on the floor, 2 terry towels - everything is dazzlingly snow-white (as, indeed, bed linen), a shower set (shampoo, conditioner, gel, soap, shower cap, 2 glasses - everything is on branded Rekhan napkins, a hair dryer, a huge mirror and a double-sided mirror. There is a table and 2 wicker chairs on the terrace. No bedbugs, no cockroaches, no ants, no lizards, no spiders - everything is clean. Mosquitoes after sunset, of course, fly on street, but they were not in the room, so our fumigator was not useful to us - just after sunset you don’t need to open the door to the terrace. Cleaning in the room every day, even if you didn’t leave a dollar. From towels such masterpieces: either swans, or lotuses, then hearts. A bouquet of fresh flowers. From time to time I was interested: "Is everything all right? Do I need water? ", Etc. Unobtrusively, but in such a way that you do not feel deprived of attention. hotel, and on the beach, and in a restaurant. I don’t know why in some Some of the reviews complain about rudeness: as if we had a rest in different hotels. Or maybe you, "gentlemen of the Muhosrans", remember the cartoon about the little raccoon: "Just smile! " Try to smile - and people will answer you the same.

M O R E :
First of all, we, of course, went to the sea. Of course, to the depth at the end of the reef, i. e. from the pontoon. Of course, we took a mask with a snorkel with us, so we could admire the beauty of the magical underwater world to our heart's content (if you don't have your own, you can rent it there). Words can not convey - it must be seen - breathtaking! By the way, I’m far from being a super swimmer, but I coped with the current easily: you just need to swim a couple of meters against the current along the reef - and there is almost stagnant water: just lie down and admire the fish. And even if you are still carried away by the current, grab the rope and lie down for yourself and watch, and for those who nevertheless swam away with the current beyond the rope, the rescuer throws a circle on the rope and drags him to the stairs. However, the flow is not constant - more often the water is stagnant. So, despite the waves, you feel completely safe. Well, I don’t understand those who really wanted to sail away to the depths: all the beauty is here - near the reef, and you can understand the rescuers: they don’t need drowned people, that’s why they whistle.
The temperature of the water was +25*C, the air temperature was the same +25*C. In one of the pools (where there are slides for adults) the water is +30*C. But we went to the pool solely to slide down the slides. How can you swim in the pools on the RED SEA? ! Although, if someone still (well, if the children are small), then please: there are a dozen and a half pools (counting small personal ones near elite houses).
The beach is sandy, in shallow water you can also admire the fish - if someone is afraid to swim from a pontoon at a depth, then you can just lie on the water in a mask in shallow water and watch beautiful fish, hedgehogs, stars for hours - the water is very salty - it holds itself - even be able to swim no need.

There were always enough sun loungers on the beach (it's not worth borrowing) - good ones - wooden with mattresses. Beach towels are clean - change at least several times a day (but why? ).
Speaking of towels. We took a large towel from the room with us on an excursion to the reserve. We return: the room is cleaned and... 2 large clean towels (a trifle, but nice).
NUTRITION :
We did not pay extra for either SUPER or ULTRA - we were quite satisfied with the usual AI service package. And if it’s not enough for someone, please pay extra $ 98 - and you will have 6 A la Carte restaurants (2 were enough for us: Italian and Oriental), and a free bus to / from Naama Bay, and a court, and billiards, and laundry , and SPA, and free. Internet, and a bar with alcohol in the room, and there is a lot of other things, without which we did very well. Italian is so-so (although the meat is very tasty), but I really liked it in Vostochny: it’s very tasty and unusual: right on the stove on the coals they take out a second course with 3 types of meat... And in the main restaurant everything is very tasty, varied, appetizing : and meat (boiled, chops, grilled, in batter - everything is with you - from the heat, from the heat, stuffed turkey, and fish (even squid in batter), and vegetables (fresh: whole, chopped, in salads (cut with you); stewed... ), and fruits (melons, oranges, guava, tangerines, lemons, bananas, apples), and sweets (pies, cakes, puffs, pancakes (with you), jelly, jam, honey, chocolate , jams, corn flakes, balls, etc. (if you want - with milk) - yes, you can’t list everything! - there are so many different dishes that, naturally, you don’t have time, even a little bit, to try, you think; okay, the rest tomorrow I’ll try, but no: tomorrow there’s already a lot of other things, and so every day. The waiters are solid politeness, courtesy, accuracy. And indigestion, gentlemen, dissatisfied, you, perhaps, not from far-fetched unsanitary conditions, but rather from overeating - you don’t need to overload your stomachs! We were fine with this. The most difficult thing is not to gain extra pounds, because resisting the temptation to overeat is not easy: everything is very tasty. They certainly won’t let you die of hunger: pizza, french fries, juices, drinks are free on the beach, all kinds of cakes, ice cream, cookies, juices, drinks in the cafe under the main restaurant, popcorn, cotton candy on the territory - this is all between the main meals.

By the way, even on the last day - the day of departure - we were fed at lunch for free (although according to the rules, if you dine on the day of arrival, then on the day of departure - for a fee) (another nice little thing! )
TOURS :
We took excursions exclusively from our tour operator TURTESS from our guides Mizo and Roberto. Many thanks to them: detailed instructions that turn out to be very correct: what to wear, what to take with you; dry rations; even in the middle of the night (excursion to Cairo to the pyramids) Mizo came to see us off and see if everything was in order. We managed to go on only 3 excursions: 1) to the Ras Mohammed reserve, 2) to Cairo to the pyramids (!!! ) and 3) on a presidential yacht with a transparent lower deck to a beautiful coral reef with a swim in masks and fins (!! ! ). All excursions were great, the guides are good, the food is normal. If anyone is interested in details, please ask.
I really want to visit Luxor and Jerusalem next time.
We live the dream of another trip to Egypt!! ! We fell in love with this fabulous country!! !
