This is not the first time in Egypt. In Sharm - the third. The hotel is not bad, but 5 stars does not pull! The hotel is more English speaking (80%). The brothers of the Slavs are placed in the most disgusting rooms and later than all. First of all, foreigners are settled, and only then the Slavs (although foreigners stopped by 20 minutes later than us). All the staff speaks very badly both in Russian and in English. The service is terrible - there were always not enough spoons or cups, then you can’t wait for the waiter. But if you give him $ 1, then he will constantly fuss around you. On the very first day, the hair dryer and air conditioning stopped working in the room - they came to the reception and complained. We were told - go to the room and wait now the masters will come and do it. After sitting and waiting for almost 2 hours in the room, no one showed up. Then, having flown into the reception as a "fury", I told them everything that I think about them and their hotel, which does not pull in any way for 5 stars. They tried to calm me down and after a couple of minutes 2 masters ran through the main entrance, and the third one was waiting near the room. After 5 minutes everything was already working. And when, after a couple of days, our safe stopped opening (the batteries just ran out), as soon as I called the reception and said about the problem, in a couple of minutes the master with a suitcase was standing at my room. The conclusion suggests itself - it is worth running into them properly and everything is OK !! ! The rooms are cleaned well - they didn’t climb the suitcases (maybe because they left 1 dollar). The food is good. Everything is fresh and varied. The meat is cooked very tasty! From seafood there were crabs, octopuses, oysters. There are a lot of vegetables, but very few fruits (but this problem was in almost all hotels this year). The sea is cool (the water is somewhere around 23-24 degrees). Live reef with a variety of fish. It's a pity that on the day of arrival there was a strong storm - 2 pontoons were broken and they were not repaired in any way, they were done only after 2 days. Therefore, we sat by the pool (the water in the pool is warm 26 degrees, and in the children's it is all 35). I want to note the work of the animators - well done !! ! Every evening is a must-entertainment! Cool disco, Live music at dinner. Well, the whole day that the sea, that the pool is constantly involving tourists - they do not let you get bored - well done again !!! ! By the way, on the 4th day of rest, we casually complained during a conversation with the animators that their hotel was not very good. . . that we are resting in Egypt not for the first time, and we were also in 4-star hotels, so in fours it was much better than in their top five (service and food were much better), maybe we were just lucky.... It was said in the morning at sea. At lunch, when we came to the main restaurant, we were simply dumbfounded - a bunch of managers appeared. Almost all the waiters were running around like "electric brooms", managers approached the table and asked "Are you all right? ", "Do you like everything? ". Obviously they report everything to the authorities in the hotel. I would like to note a very important fact - on the day of departure, you can safely rent a room at 12 o'clock (even if you have a departure at 22-00). Nobody will limit you in anything - you need towels - please, if you want to drink or eat - also please. By the way, in many hotels, European standards at 12-00 you rent a room and take off (no one will feed, no one will drink). Well done here - no one limits you (this is especially good if you have children with you). In general, the hotel is not bad, but not 5 stars. But my company and I tried to find the positive in everything.
