I am writing this review sitting on board 737-700 in Shakhtar livery on the way to Kyiv. Before that, I didn’t have much pleasant memories of Join Up. But it so happened that the company, which we always rest with, chose Rotana, and in fact, apart from Join, there were no offers to this hotel. This time they did not disappoint : )
They immediately requested a carrier - they said there would be Sky up. Well, I perceive these as normal - fresh boards and, in principle, now fall into the schedule. Their departure was from terminal F. Of course, he surprised us very much - an international airport, and there is no dutik in the terminal, so it didn’t work out to buy something with us. The board was served on time and clean. Really nice plane. We arrived at 4 am - in Sharm now you need to go through identification, then guides are waiting for you at the exit. In principle, surprisingly, I got an adequate guide with good Russian and no stupid jokes.
We were at the hotel at the beginning of 6. We gave our passports and went to sleep on the sofas. Don't say anything, but the sofas at the reception are on fire : ) At 9.
00 we were given cards for towels. The room was given at 11.00 without money and whining, 2023 in the second building. They just said: your room will be ready by 11.00 (who doesn’t know according to the system, check-in at the hotel is always at 14.00, and the room is checked out at 12.00), they didn’t demand any money, and they didn’t hint. For those who buy a tour here, my recommendation to you is to take only the sea view, otherwise you will be placed in the classics, which are frankly far away, and behind the reception they are almost like a second line. Gestrelation - Inna - charming and sympathetic. I heard that we had a birthday in our company, I immediately organized a cake. A trifle, but nice!
We lived in building 2 - an excellent building with access to the alley and descending directly to the beach.
The beach here is a different story - three pontoons, two of which are stationary and one floating near the diving school. If you want to jump from a pontoon - you are on the middle one. There and the main movement of people and animators. The pontoon, which is on the right in the lounge area, as we decided - tapchans on the green grass and silence. The bar is free!
Free bar on the left between the middle pontoon and the diving school. The reef is there. But it is, to put it mildly, empty of inhabitants.
Restaurant - food is normal but of the same type as in all of Egypt for the money. Dinner was more or less different, breakfast was stupidly the same around the circle. Plastic cups - yes, there were rumors that until this year there was only glass and nuts and chips ...forget it. The bartenders are friendly and accommodating.
The pool is large and very cool and clean, next to it there is a warm paddling pool and a slide, in principle, it will go for a ride a couple of times and the children will have a normal entertainment.
Umatovye animators, especially Turbo. The boy is very charismatic and smiling. A couple of girls, one is exactly from Ukraine and the second one looks the same. They always had fun in the morning at 10.00 with a morning dance near the middle pontoon.
Restaurant a la carte - were in the fish, not bad, but far from expectations.
Room service is top notch.
Clean and tidy, and so is the whole hotel. He is well looked after and it is clear that the hotel is under supervision.
We did not take excursions from the hotel guide - we have already seen all this and my advice to you is not to listen to this insanity about the fact that you must come or you will not be registered or insurance will not work, these are all fairy tales to sell you excursions. You don't owe anyone anything. A bus will pick you up according to the schedule, which hangs on the wall in the lobby with your name and flight.
We rented a yacht for the day - if you are 10 people, it's easier for you to rent an individual yacht, as we did. It costs the same money as to pay for a common room with 10 people. But it's only you on the yacht : ) It's a really cool day on the yacht.
You will leave the hotel - a market where they sell mango, pomegranate, strawberries. Etc.
The hotel is very well guarded. The police are always at the reception : )
