Meals: there were no declared shrimps every day, for 12 days of rest they were only twice. In general, the first impression of the food was bad, but later I changed my mind. There were, as usual in Egyptian hotels, two types of soups, beef, though barely chewed, lamb was soft, but full of odorous seasonings, chicken, fish and even duck. The meat was both stewed and grilled.

The breakfasts are quite poor. I was surprised that there were no traditional fried eggplants at breakfast. Fruits, dried fruits, pastries, everything was there. The cleanliness was not very good, dead flies were swimming in a jug of olive oil. I don’t know what this is connected with, either with poorly washed dishes, or the virus really went around, but the whole company of us picked up an intestinal infection, there was a high temperature during the day, vomiting and terrible diarrhea. Tourists from Kostanay had the same experience.

Staff: the hotel needs to do something with the staff, nationalism is present in all its glory, I did not expect this from the Egyptians. The hotel's tourists are dominated by Italians and Arabs, a few Russians and quite a bit of Kazakhs, the chef is Italian. So the staff licks the Italians, everything to them and for them, as well as for the Arabs. But the CIS countries are unimportant.
At the pool bar, the bartender Mohammed behaved terribly, we asked him in English to pour cocktails without ice, so he grimaced, saying that they say there are no cocktails without ice and simply turned away to other tourists, and ignored us, pouring nothing. I had to complain to the guest manager. The situation on the beach: the Ahmed bartender, who is very similar to Cristiano Ronaldo, offered a tourist from Kostanay (Kazakhstan) to pour another cocktail, she agreed, but the cocktail turned out to be very bitter for her (yes, they do not regret alcohol there and pour a lot, you constantly need to ask to pour a little bit) so, she brought this cocktail to the bar, put it in a corner and turning to us comes up and says: - "I poured some garbage" in a calm voice. So he heard it and made such a kipish, a whole scandal, as if he even insulted the public, then I had a suspicion that he poured such a cocktail on purpose.
He yells that he will complain and will not work, you see, they offended him. But the worst thing is that he further told all Italians how good they are, and how bad Russians are. The tourist went to complain about him to the main manager of the hotel, she was apologized and a fruit basket in the room. But we personally left a residue until the end of the holiday. By the way, the Italians did not tip anyone, but tourists from the CIS countries fill up the Egyptians with tips.

Beach: very large, there are as many as three pontoons and a relaxation area all in greenery, bungalows, hammocks and a separate paid bar. The floor was dirty, since there were slippers in the room. But the cleaner came regularly and cleaned. True, garbage was lying on the terrace all the rest. Rest is not in the rooms, so you can not pay attention to them. Buildings 7-8-9 are located outside the hotel and if you take them, then you will have to walk decently.

In general, I want to say that I was in Egypt 4 times and never thought that I would also have to write a negative review. Before this hotel, we always rested in hotels cheaper and lower class, but even in them everything suited us and everything was on top, we never got poisoned or sick.
I would recommend the hotel to work with the staff, keep the dishes clean, treat the premises from flies. It’s very inconvenient to change the concept, for example, after breakfast you can’t have a bite anywhere, snacks are served on the beach only from 13:00, alcohol and drinks from 10:00, grain coffee from a coffee machine is paid, which I was very surprised. There is a late breakfast from 11:00 with pizza, burgers and other things, but it is by the pool and from the beach it is far inconvenient to walk to it. For example, in Reef Oasis Blue Bay on the beach from 11:00, alcohol and various snacks are served, and drinks are served around the clock.

In general, the hotel draws only the reef and the beach. I would refrain from recommending the Grand Rotana hotel, after which, for now, I have completely repulsed the desire to fly to Egypt.
